A brand new start

congrats on your loss Scrappy!! I like the drinks as fruit idea, too :D Black Forrest cake - mmmmmmmm Cake and cookies is the only way I really like my chocolate ( my sister says I am NOT female LOL) unless its covered with LOADS of peanut butter!!!

Six kids to the park?! Lordy, that must have been a work out and a half!! LOL But loads of fun I bet. :D

The "big city" for us is Greenville/Spartanburg. We live in Greenwood (SC), so it is about an hour to really good shopping and stuff to do. Today my brother and his family are off to Asheville, NC because they really want to see snow. I have a meeting tonight or I might have gone along. My kids are dissapointed, but if we had gone I wouldn't have made the meeting tonight.
And, yes, I really am going to have to bust some hiney when they leave.

I don't see anything wrong with covering your chocolate with peanut butter. ;) And yes, I didn't get to sit at the park when I had all the kiddos, but it was fun.

Hey Girl! Don't worry too much about the cake. You are doing so good. You deserve to have a cheat every once in a while. It is always hard to resist those kinds of temptations when you are around family. Keep up the good work!
 
hey, i plan on cheating this sat night with my sister. so what! for six days im good, i do everything im supposed to do. i just like that i can control and plan em now, instead of just eating without thinking or caring.
 
Black forest cake?? omg!! sounds way too good. I used to get black forest cheesecake and down the thing, lol

Anyways, you are doing really great hun! Keep your head high!
 
Hey scrappy it looks like the challenge is still working well, that’s awesome. A 4 pound loss is terrific hun keep up the good work.
 
Thanks for all the encouragement. It really helps because I usually have a bit of a pity party once the company goes home. The family went home today and I did convince them to take home all the naughty snacks. I just got back from the park. A few of the other gals from church whom are doing the sc shrink down and I got together and walked the track while our kids played on the playground.

It makes it so much better when you can exercise with someone you are realy going great with this scrappy. Lol hun I think a few of us are having a pitty party, honeychild is bringing wine to mine.

It's a cold, rainy, miserable day which isn't helping. Unless you count wanting more sleep helpful...

I remember living in a small town where we had to drive far away to shop. At least that keeps you from shopping too much. hehe

There are so many stores here, it's ridiculous. I wish I could eat some cake everyday too. lol

The downside of reduced shopping choices, is that reduced choices. I still shop too much ( I don't buy that much), but let's just say I have a serious WalMart habit. I miss having a few more choices... I'm pretty sick of WallyWorld.
BTW, you can eat cake everyday... weight watchers makes great snack cakes. Think Little Debbie (she got me through college) only skinnier. The 80 calorie Debbie. (That sounds like anorexic porn!) Hmph.

the weekend came and went. It has been a little hard getting back on the wagon. I went to the store today and bought diet-friendly food. Had soup for dinner. It was too rainy today to walk, but I'm feeling like the saddle is coming back under me!

I'm a Target girl myself. I don't much care for Wal-Mart, but I can spend some mean cash at my Target. And I second the Weight Watcher's deserts. They are totally awesome. I like the Double Fudge Cake, the Peanut Butter Pie, the Cookie Dough Sundae, and the Black Cherry Cheesecake. :eek: Yum!
