Maeby, congrats on 2 lb loss! That's awesome and so fast! :)

Scale has not been budging for me lately at all. I hope it'll change soon.

Today is going to be a good day :) Maeby...great job on your two pound loss! You're off to a great start! Niapage...I changed your goal. It's so awesome that you're pushing yourself. You'll get to your goal and then some :) Cherry_girl I posted your stats! Thanx for getting back to me. I think you should join track...then you have to run. When i was in high school I did cross country every fall. I HATED it! But, it made me run 7-10 miles 6 days a week...so it was good for me :) Luvdby2angels...awesome job on sticking to your diet:) We have potlucks here at the office practically every friday. I know how hard it can be...and you are doing AWESOME! Keep it up everyone. We are all doing sooo good!
 
No budge on my scale yet either, but I've been having trouble getting any REAL exercise in. I went for 3 walks yesterday, but with the kids...it's been tough.
 
It's alright dariqueen--I'm sure the weight will come off soon. Do you want to make a specific weigh in day for our mini challenge so that you don't feel like you're constantly steppin' on the scale? Maybe Fridays or Mondays?

Well, since I first weighed for this challenge on Monday, that's when my weigh in days are. But I just can't resist the scale. That's alright, I'm not too discouraged. I know I'm still eating fairly well:)
 
does anyone have any ideas of how to fit in excercise with school and sports?? it would be really helpful?? and excercise tips also. thanks so much
 
Juggling a full schedule is always tough...what kind of sport is it? and doesn't that count as exercise? (as long as it's not curling or shuffleboard--lol)

Idohair, can I change my challenge start weight? I bought a new digital scale today, and it turns out my other one was showing me as one pound lighter. So I have actually only lost 5 lbs instead of 6 :( I will start fresh tomorrow morning, and Fridays will be my new weigh in days. I'll let you know in the morning what my exact weight is.

So, since I'm missing this week (and I haven't lost anything yet anyway:rolleyes: ) I concede this week's victory to Kaitie, and here is my pic......This is my sister and I at Halloween, dressed "like" Madonna. I'm the one on the right. We were so cool. I think I was 11.:D Enjoy!
 
That's a great picture!!! I think I was Madonna as well when I was around 11...though I don't have any pictures of it. I particularly love the hair (so 80's!) and the rubber bracelets...I used to have them up to my elbows!!!

That weight'll come off--I know it!! I actually think I'm going to weigh myself on Mondays....that gives me 1 day off and time for my muscles to firm up and stuff so I should get a truer reading (or not, it could all be in my mind) :)

Thanks...I was such a dork:D Hopefully I'll get to see one of you next time! I have discovered I actually like low-fat frozen yogurt, so that ice cream is going out with the trash!
 
Yay!!!

OK I woke up bright and early and got kids ready for school then I went and weighed and it said 217! Thats another 6lbs gone 14 for 2 weeks.I am walking my butt off litterally lol!Lowcalorie dieting seems to be working great and you are not limited on your foods.I am learning you can find any of your favorite foods made lean sugar free ect!

Ok, I checked on my new scale and I'm at 193.4, so I'll take it! We'll assume my other one was right with a starting weight of 194, so I'm on my way! I hope to lose at least another 1/2 pound by Monday!
 
Who-hooo! Congratulations to everyone on their losses! Its always great to hear! I was good and exercised Wed. night, but not Thursday (time has gotten away from me). Planning on doing something tonight, hopefully will get good exercise session in.

Have not lost anything yet, but I was slightly careless with food this week. I'm being pretty good during the day at work, but in the evenings things kind of went out of control a bit. Also did not weigh myself in couple of days, cause it was that time of the month, plus I had sushi yesterday, and I really don't want to see scale going up.

Anyway, hope everyone is doing great!
 
Still stuck at 140 :rolleyes: ....Gosh darn it I'm going to be 135 by the end of the challenge if it kills me! I'm kicking my exercise regimen back into high gear. I'm eating more now that I'm back at work...I think that has been my problem the last few weeks. Being on vacation then being out all day school shopping for almost an entire week had thrown off my eating a bit and I wasn't getting enough calories. I'm back at work and everything's getting back on track. Wish me luck!! :cool:

Congrats everybody!! You're kicking butt...and loosing it too! LOL

Goodmorning everyone! Awesome job for everyone who has lost weight this week! My weigh in's are every monday so im anxious to see what the scale says! Keep truckin everyone...I cant wait to see where we all are in 6 weeks :)
