50 Pounds to Subaru Journal

Hey hey everybody! I'm back, and I'm 5 lbs heavier! Dangit! I'll have to wait for tomorrow for the official weigh in.

I'm going to have to adjust the schedule clear to the end of my goal to make it. Instead of 1.7 lbs per week I need to lose 2.4. Still doable, but I need to really dedicate myself in high gear now. No more of this week on/ week off crap.

Welcome back!!! I gained as well:( 4 lbs but holidays are over and we can get down to business!! Happy New Year!!
 
Hey Mishi! We can do it together! Let's forget the holidays!

I have officially started purchasing materials for my costume, so it's down to crunch time. I'll post pictures of costume progress here.

I started making tortilla pizzas yesterday. Daang they're good. I do a taco sized wheat torilla, pizza sauce (only 30 calories for 1/4 cup!?! Who knew?!?) veggies and cheese. The whole thing is under 300 calories and very filling.
 
yum tortilla pizzas sound good!! I am going shopping tonight for healthy foods to stock my house with so I am not eating the same darn things! So excited the weight is already starting to go down as soon as I started eating well again.:) I just want to break past the 189 lb mark! am at 194 now:D yay new year!! ;) hope your wednesday is going well!
 
I'm at 191.2 right now and can't bear to raise my ticker :) I want to break back into the 180s as well. GRR!

Today I went for a half hour walk during my lunchtime. I think I'm going to make that a habit. These months are perfect for walking in phoenix, and though our office neighborhood isn't the best it's not terrible either, and there's a park about half a mile away.

I'm considering fixing up my old bike and riding to work. Don't quite know where i'd put the bike in the apartment though.... Right now it's in my mom's garage

Do you have a large closet or other area you could put it? Or an empty piece of ceiling where you could get some of those hooks and hang it when you're not using it?
 
I did freakisly well yesterday. I woke up early, did a workout video, did a half hour walk at lunch, did a half hour of strength training after work before church and then a half hour of cardio after church. I ate about 1300 calories and felt wonderful

Then - this morning I'm up .4 I decided that it's just water weight because it's nearly my time of the month, so I'm still encouraged.

This morning I did 45 minutes of DDR and then the same workout video. I'm going to keep walking during my lunch hour - at least for the next 12 weeks until my convention.

THE CONVENTION IS 12 WEEKS AWAY!!!! <panic!>
 
12 weeks = 3 months... 30lbs = 10 lbs a month. You can do it. No more holidays to distract us. I finally looked at the costume you are making (I know I am a slacker) and it is really cool! You will have to post pics! You are doing well with calories and workouts! yay workout videos. Fitness magazine has some neat workout video suggestions if you are bored in a checkout line and want to flip through one;) Hope your having a good weekend!
 
I started on a prop today and it went kind of poorly. Gotta think these things out better before I just dive in :-X I surely will post pics as they come :)
 
Guess what guys!!! I ran for 2 minutes and 38 seconds today! I have never run more than 1:30 in my life!!! And I just got on the scale a minute ago and it was 188.8, my ticker weight! Hopefully tomorrow it will be lower! So Excited!
 
I am down to 188.2!!! A new low, and over 25 lbs lost so far! I'm so excited.

I am starting to feel like I can do physical things easier and longer. And, because my back rolls are disappearing, less sweat gets stuck in them (that was gross)

I'm starting to get a 2 pack on my abs instead of the one big roll across :)

I'm so excited that I am going to be a healthy weight for the first time in my life. I want to shop for clothes in the normal section! Dare i even hope that maybe, someday, I can wear clothes in a single digit number? Oh the possibilities!
 
Hey, im new here, Congrats to you, you are doing great, i wish i was 188 lol, we kind of started at the same weight, i have only been at this 1 week and have lost 6 pounds, im pretty excited but im like you, i want huge results fast!!! but we can do this!!! good luck and congrats!!!
 
You are doing so well! Way to hit the 180s running! I know what you mean about the running, once you can go for a few minutes, the next time you can keep pushing it until you go higher. Feels good. haha Keep up the great work!
 
Yay!!! Congratulations!! It is a wonderful feeling to run... and not die a few minutes later:D yay!!!!
