3rd Times a Charm!

It was sooo amazingly wonderful to have a day off! Slept in real late, sat around a bit. DID get some stuff done- cleaned my house, did some laundry, etc.
Not gonna lie- I CRAVED chocolate allll day long, and I DID have this little huckleberry chocolate thingy, it was good. Hit the spot.

TOnights workout:
I have decided to mix it up a bit on weights; I always do one body part each day, but tonight I did a little bit of shoulders, chest, and some bicep and tricep stuff.. eh. We'll see if it helps at all.
Cardio: stairstepper 15min, 35floors, .73miles; precor(elliptical cross trainer) 30min, 2.35miles.
GOnna cut this short tonight- wanna try and sleep a bit more than normal, because I do NOT get enuf!
I love sleeping in!!! Good for you.....finally a day off huh!...I know how tiring that gets..!!! Way to go Jess, I'm excited about your Passion to work out so late!!! Yay!!!! ;)

hahaha! Eww. well, on the upside, sugar alcohols come out of your carb totals, so its got a plus and negative I guess.. I actually found this recipe for no bake cookies- only you use fiber1 cereal and a few small pieces of dark chocolate melted with it. REALLY excited to try it. But yeah, I want the loss REAL bad, so I'm FRIGGIN FOCUSED for the next two months. Woooo! lol.

Let me know how the recipe turns out, it sounds interesting!!

Luckily I don't have too much of a sweet tooth, I'm more of a carby starchy craver.

I like fiber1 cereal, almost sounds like a mini smore, except no marshmallows.

SO they were pretty much AMAZING! Even my little sister loved em, and she hates anything new and different, lol. And, one cookie was enuf for me.. which is NUTS cuz I crave chocolate like no other. I'm pretty happy with it :)

I get to sleep in again tomorrow, which is good, considering I just got done at the gym, and its now 430am, lol.

So today was my sisters birthday, so we took her out to the restaraunt of her choice- Dos Machos. Oh man. I looove the mexi foods! Didn't do tooooo bad, had nachos, but ended up really full at bout half a plate, so that was nice- didn't overeat, didn't get that sick 'oh why did I keep going' feeling :rolleyes: We split a piece of mud pie, which is an absolute downfall for me- seriously, the crust is like 2inches of pure oreos... :drool5: thats reallly the only reason I ever order that pie, but yeah. I'll usually do a whole piece by myself, so all in all, I'm happy with my choices today :) PLUS- I got a free microwave for my store from a friend, so now I have more options for lunches- mall food, well, its expensive, and there are only so many healthy-ish options, and I'm sorry, but after working at gnc for five years, I've eaten about every protein bar we have, and I'm SICK OF THEM!

Tonights workout was another "quickie". Bare bones, man! I fell asleep watching comedy central, and woke up bout 2am, so I got to the gym a bit late :)
Did chest, hip ad., hip abd., and a few shoulder raises.
Cardio: 40 minutes on the precor, 2.69miles.

besides that SMALL issue, your "quickie" workouts are intense, and in a good way!

You go girl! Eating the things you want but in smaller quantities is a GREAT option IMO!!! Yay for you!! And that's great about the microwave too... :hurray:

YOU INSPIRE me to get up EVERY TIME, no matter what time....to go to the gym!!! The only thing....HOW THE HELL DO YOU WAKE up in the morning!!?!?!? You must go into work late afternoon or something....OR IT'S THOSE damn BARS from GNC...LOL!!! :iagree:....gimme some of that CRACK!!! LOL!!!

haha! I hafta be at work at 930am, which ISN'T good, cuz I most definately do NOT get enuf sleep, but dammit! Thats when I like to workout, so its gonna have to work for now :)

My tinnnny little sister buys Oreos all the time, and I told her that she has to hide them in her room when she buys them, cuz if I see em, I eat em :rolleyes:

I DON'T sleep enuf :rolleyes: but I hate going to the gym any earlier than 1130 at night..
I always feel like my short workouts look puny, lol, so thanks for sayin its intense! That makes me feel good :)

Fiber1 cereal and a square of semi-sweet or dark chocolate :) I used one cup of cereal, melted the choc., put em together and dropped a good size dollop on some wax and put em in the fridge. FREAKISHLY easy, and super tasty. PLUS- You get a buncha fiber :D its a win win! lol... chocolate doesn't help a ton, but for people like me, that absolutley MUST have a sugar fix, this is it right here.
 
Tonights workout:
upper back, chest presses, leg presses, some dips.
Cardio: did the precor for I THINK 35 minutes. The only reason I say that- the stupid power went out at the gym! GAA! I was on 31ish minutes, so I picked a song on my zune that was about 4min and finished up... That made me SO mad. All my stats, gone, without me getting to record them! Soo, that sucked.

Anyway, I guess I'll just haftado a few extra minutes of cardio tomorrow..
 
Today was a fairly decent day- work was good, made a lot of money, got a paycheck slightly bigger than I expected, went to get new shoes for work cuz mine are SO bad that I stepped in a puddle the other day and my sock was soaked for a while, lol. Was pretty happy bout the new shoes- I HATE shoes. Wear flipflops everywhere, so I was dreading having to find new ones, especially since I have giant feet and all the other giant footed girls get the cute shoes first! So anyway, get to the shoe store, see some shoes, then was upset cuz they're brown, I need black, decide to see how horrible they would look, find the ONLY pair of size huuuuggggeeee, and they were black, and the SAME shoes I have been wearing :) yeah, no deciding there! It was meant to be... :rolleyes:

That sucks that the power went out at the gym... at least it wasn't at the beginning of your workout!

I hate shopping for shoes; so boring to me... LOVE flip flops!
 
Tonights workout:
biceps, triceps, shoulders.
*I have decided that rather than do a bit of everything I'm gonna go back to one area a night... I have a hard time remembering what stuff needs to get done when I mix it up like this, lol... :rolleyes:

Cardio: precor cross trainer 35min, 2.37miles. Did a different program, the incline was a LOT higher than the one I have been doing, so it wasn't as easy, therefore my miles weren't as high as usual. Eh. Oh well :) I wonder if I'm gonna have killer legs when I'm skinny? LOL!
 
So tonight is my night off, and I am TOTALLY ok with it. I'm soo exhausted right now! I still hafta go back to gnc and make sure my new guy has closing down, and I'm REALLLLY hoping noone calls and wants to go out tonight, cuz I'm kinda looking forward to a veg night. Sit in my pajamas all night, watch movies.. We'll see I guess.
Gotta go grocery shopping tonight, get some more steam veggies and stuff for work(I am super happy to have a microwave, lol). I had a good week I think... I'm really hoping that tomorrows weigh in has me down some- I was up two lbs. for the last two weeks, so I hope my workin my ASS off will PAY off!
 
So Friday night, even tho it was one of my two nights off from the gym, I STILL ended up going and swimming for bout half hour. It wasn't real intense or anything, but I did get a little work done that way, and a friend came with, so even tho I said I wanted to veg out, I still did a litttttle bit of socializing :)

My weigh in on Saturday went SUPER FANTASTIC!! WOOO! I lost four lbs. last week, am verrrrryyyy happy about that, and really, I think it has to do with the precor machine thingy... I dunno. maybe this week I'll gain it all back, lol... Nah. I'm only 18lbs away from where I was almost three years ago, and felt sooo great, and was wearing cuter clothes, and I am DAMN DETERMINED to get to that weight before I go to Vegas. I have cute jeans that I haven't wore in a while, gotta be able to wear em again! After the 18lbs, I still have 60lbs to go before I get to a "happy" weight, 80lbs before I get to my uber goal weight, but I can get there. just gotta keep putting in the work!

I used to work at an underage pool hall, and even tho I quit 2 years ago, the owner still calls me now and then to work(the last time was last September) and I'll usually do it for the extra cash. So anyway, he calls me on Saturday afternoon to see if I can close for him that night. I had to work at gnc till 930pm, but did go to work at breakers to. I told the owner that if he needed me a little more often to give me a call, cuz I've been thinking bout getting a second job for a little more money, and this would work perfectly- I get to scream at annoying teenagers that think they're little billy badasses, I can wear what I want(yayyy for no uniform :D ), and I know the job, and the owner trusts me. He was pretty excited to hear me say that, and I think that if they need me before I go to Vegas, I'm gonna use that as a Vegas fun money job :) We'll see tho, they may not even need any shifts covered yet.

Okkk, so tonights workout:
Legs(went back to doing one muscle group a night, it was too much to think about by doing a buncha different stuff :) )
Cardio: precor cross trainer: 45minutes and 3.25miles.
 
Holy sh** Jess! 4 lbs?! You kicked some a** this week! :hurray: You go girl! I like how you set mini goals for yourself... you could totally lose 18 pounds by Vegas I think! What is the Precor Cross Trainer?
