Feeling really good. Just 2-3 more months of being consistent like this - the time will fly by. I can't get over how full I feel eating real, minimally processed, nutritious food. I'm so happy I found what works. I'm thinking about having 1 cheat meal per week. A balanced meal where I'm completely satisfied -- NOT a day-long binge!!! but a normal restaurant meal like burger and fries, pizza and pop, pasta and wine, etc. Elle IP and amynicolaxo on youtube swear by this to keep them on track.
ONE salad won't fix a week's worth of terrible eating, and ONE burger won't mess up a week's worth of clean eating.
Went to the dollar store last night and I found this cool salad cup.. it comes with a detachable fork and a little salad dressing cup on the top. Maybe this will let me enjoy more veggies now -- I haven't incorporated salads into my meal plan yet.
Today there's a snow storm and I plan to sit inside all day at work. Not going out until I'm done means no distractions or temptations for food. It also means no exercise, but right now the pro's of staying in outweigh the cons (it's so cold!)
Today at work I packed 2 kinds of yogurt, granola, my usual lunch of butter baked salmon, quinoa and steamed broccoli, and also a special K chocolate nd PB protein bar. That bar is amazing for keeping me full in the afternoon.
As for my projects, I can share more when I get closer to actually starting them. I'm looking for ways to improve, and after being stagnant, happy and comfortable, it's time to challenge myself, my mind, and my body.
