Unfortunately, that is a gain-- not a loss!
I put my hands in the air and confess: I am a yo-yo dieter; every other week, I think I've found the new best method to lose weight and I embark on a drastic calorie-reducing plan, only to lose myself a week later in a fog of carbohydrates and guilt.
Most recently, I had been volunteering at an eco-friendly community for the intellectually disabled which involved a lot of farm work and organic produce so that kept my weight in check ('was floating around the 150-something mark for a while there) and a holiday in early January gave me a reason to follow a healthy eating regime but since getting back to city life, I've managed to jump from 150 lbs at the end of January to 170 lbs as of this morning. Shocking!
I've never joined a weight loss forum but I think it'd be nice to converse with likeminded people while I try to change my lifestyle and get back into shape. When one finally holds themselves accountable, it is awfully hard to rationalize another day of binge-eating before dieting. So, to put a change to things I will begin my healthy lifestyle choices tomorrow (Sunday) rather than the classic start of the week.
I'll weigh-in on a weekly basis, eat 1400 calories/day with at least one hour of high-impact exercise.
Thanks for reading.
