Isn't weight loss a lot easier than that? o_O"
Do you still work with the Wii Fit.
I planned to buy one too.... but don't how much exercise I can get from that...

Thank you :) It's not easy and it's definately caused me to grow wiser much faster beyond my years. I don't find it strang to admire it. IMO theres nothing wrong with young parenting, just immature parenting. as long as a person has enough love and enough drive to be the best parent they can be, young parents can be better then many 30 year old parents I know.

lol yes weight loss is MUCH easier... for me anyway... some others will probably dissagree. I just wish I knew this years ago!

I do still use my wii fit several times a week. BE PREPARED I do have A LOT to say about Wii Fit!
by now I've expanded on what i've learned with it and now do other thing and i do have to modify some things to make it continue to work for me on my new level. I've never spent too much time on the balance games, though some find them benificial, i didnt have much interest in them... i started out spending an hour (60 fit credits)doing a combination of different yoga, strength and aerobic excersizes with it... today i use the yoga to help with streching then move onto the strength excersizes for a total of 15-20 minutes. for the the tricep extention i use a 10lb weight and i also use the tricep extention to count reps of curls with a 20lb weight. Then I do 30 minutes of free step aerobics. i do this to the beat of my own up beat music as i find the rythems wii has set too slow to work up much of a sweat and i often do it with a 5lb weight in each hand.
It is an entertaining way of working out especially the hoola hoop wich really gets your heart pumping, and its an excellent tool for beginners. But, I did find that i unlocked all of the moves and all of the max amount of reps very quickly which didnt allow much room for expantion so have definately had to look to other options to get a better suited work out for my new level... though wii fit has some added motivation, you may find that its just as benificial to find a workout dvd. i suggest downloading them if you can bc you get tired of the same thing relitively quickly and finding the right ones can be costly. I just recently tried Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred... 2 days later i'm still feeling it. It didnt seem too strenuous at the time and was only about 30 minutes that flew by but it seriously kicked my butt!
All in all I highly reccomend wii fit especially to beginners. if you already have a wii and have about 100.00 to spend, why not? it's not just a great work out tool especially when you have few other resources available, it's A lot of fun too!

didnt really end up getting too much exersize in today... I'm still hurting but i probably could have pulled it off... i'm going to say i'm probably just lazy and really just wanted to do housework instead. I've been hungry all day... just nothing seemed to satisfy me and i felt like i was constantly waiting until the next time i would eat... even after dinner I just wanted to eat more and since, have already had a bag of popcorn... theres still another 3 hours till bed and I still have about 400 calories in my max so i should make it.. i just hate these days :svengo:
 
Finally got a run in todat... it was relatively easy... i was worried after taking so many days off it might become harder again so i stuck to 2 minutes. Tomorrow I will definately do 2.5 minutes. I'm not going to push for 3 minutes because by the last set it gets a lot harder to make 2 minutes.
This afternoon I'm going to try the jillion michales dvd again... now that im recovered from friday lol... I'm just going to hope it wont kill me like it killed me the first time, definately cant afford to take another 3 days off excersize.

Jillian klicked my ass too but thankfully the next cpl times around werent so bad, maybe it was cuz I first tried it on a friday morning after having a long sleepless week.I have done the shred since saturday, lol...Im trying to make it routine to do botht he 30 day shred and 10 min trainer in the same day...I also wanna get my bike in again but that ia lot of legs but last tiem I managed 45 mins instead of an hr not too shabby.

I dropped by for pics of the tooth...lo lHow ishe doing...

yeah...i had the same thing happen when i started running, just intense almost crippling achiness then after i took a few days to get better and started again i was fine... so im pretty sure i'll be okay. lol you have some big work out plans! the only thing I want to try to do is get my running in every single morning so i can finally make some progress with it then one excersize program in the after noon. I still have to try the 10 minute trainer but i think tomorrow i want to do yoga... it's been a while with this whole break thing :/. thursaday i will definately try the the 10 minute though.

I didn't really getr any pics of the tooth... he wont let me take pictures of him he just keeps wanting to take the camera so i just end up with a bunch of pictures of him crying lol i do have one you can sort of see it but i'm going to try to get another one soon...
he's doing good, it doesnt seem to be bothering him AT ALL which is good since i really dont want to have to pay to fix a tooth that will be falling out in a few years anyway... i think it did cause his tooth to shift to the one side causing a bit of a gap so i hope it doesnt throw off his alignment.. poor baby
 
ha ha yeah he has these cheeks you cant help but kiss over and over... my daughters are going away... definately not my little baby anymore :(
 
I really dont feel like running today... it's not even that i dont want to do the work i just dont want to get sweaty right now lol... maybe i'll try to do it this afternoon before i do wii fit... then at least after ill be able to have a shower right away.

Ha ha ha! at least I'm being honest... I'm sure I could come up with a million GOOD excuses lol. yes I did do the jillian dvd and I feel just fine pain wise... no more then a general slight ache but i think thats from picking up the pace in running... it's a good kind of ache though, the kind you can barely feel but lets you know you pushed yourself.

Good luck with Curves! I have no idea what their like. Are they like an excersize class or is it like a regular gym with classes?
Where you going for a month? I'm confident you'll stick to your plan/goals ! you have that lifestyle changing attitude going for ya!

Well I didn't post it here bc i posted it in the 6 week challange thread, but i've been having a crappy couple of days lacking motivation and full of stress and exhaustedness... probably more mentally/emotionally exhausted than anything else. I havent been feeling well with what i think is a sinus infection thats causing headaches and a swollen head feeling any time i bend over (yoga was really hard to do with that feeling). i've been hungry and feeling myself slipping here and there. today was a little better... i dont normall work out on the weekend anyway so that wasnt an issue and calories have been good... its actually really low right now at 650 so i need to definately get some more in. I was just gone all morning so between a bowl of cereal and some lean fish for dinner it doesnt hold too many calories... My mood is improved but monday will be the real test... we'll see how i do..
 
I see you're all the way down to 190 and I am PROUD of you! Excellent job.. At this stage in your weight loss, a slip up here and there should mean little in the grand scheme of life as long as you're staying consistent most of the time. Good luck on Monday mama!

Thanks Blancita! It seems like forever ago i was fighting to get into the 190's and not i'm trying to break into the 180's.
I've been stuck at 190 for about a week now other then my usual upward fluctuations... it kind of frustrating cuz it feels like i never get to be on a good streak for more then a week here and there... but I take comfort in knowing it will pick up again eventually... it always does...
right now i'm just working really hard battling cravings (not for anything in particular just food in general) and laziness. I'm kind of hoping once we finally go pick up the puppy from the airport next weekend I wont be as stressed as I am now...
I Have Been doing a lot more strength training at higher intesity lately as well as strength in my legs to be able to pull of longer faster running... I kind of hoping that has something to do with it but i never put much faith in that since i know how much it takes to actually build a significant amount of muscle.
On another not i have noticed A LOT more definition in my arms and legs... I sometimes check with my husband to make sure something looks normal because to me it looks absolutely bizzar!
Well this has turned out to be more of an update than a reply, but hey, i really need to start repoting in my journal more often anyway..
ugh an hour and a half till dinner and I am running out of things to distract me from wanting to eat! My house is freaking spotless and i think everyones getting annoyed with me following them around cleaning lol I need a hobby...
