19 With a Dream; The Diary of a Fat Child.

I just skipped down to my aunt and uncles cause they have a really awesome digital scale. Made sure it was level (so I took one with me lol) and I stepped on it 3 times total. Each time...

232.5

I'm loving this. I'm actually doing this the healthy way...
AWESOME!

Well I really want to get to 200lbs before the end of the summer and I leave for Scotland. But my ultimate goal is 140lbs. From there I will see if I want to lose more. I have never been that thin, so I have no idea how my body will look lol.

Is 170lbs your ultimate goal?

wow, 170 by August 1st! Thats awesome! You are really going to inspire me to try to keep up with you lol. Though I think my body is getting used to dieting now, so its holding on the weight a little more...argh! :)

how often do you exercise and what do you do?

Well I haven't gotten into exercise that much. I have lost the 40lbs mostly just by eating less. The last couple weeks I have gotten really into walking, though. I'll try to do 3-5 miles a night (though this usually is only 3 or 4 times a week). I like to go out to the track though, so when it rains I don't get to exercise lol.

When I go home this summer I plan on dedicating a lot more time to exercise. At my house I have a treadmill and bike and a lot more room to do workout videos (I love Tae Bo). I am also going to get a 90 day membership to the gym so that I can use the pool- I used to swim competitively, so swimming is my favorite exercise. I need to start doing weights and stuff though, and I will probably try HIIT out this summer, though I'm not sure that I am fit enough for it.

What all exercises do you do?

It's FRIDAY! May 4th...2007 10:44pm.

Ugh! So tired. Work was fun tonight however...the last hour made me wanna go to sleep. Sucked. Anyway. I'm feeling good, I got paid. I bought a scale today. An analog....it was cheap...so.
My weight is so important. Yeesh.
  :p
Don't ask me about what that means. I guess they're just the 4 things that could possibly describe what's going on in my mind.
Cool. Indeed I am.
I could care less today. BLAH BLAH BLAH.
You know what I would like to just rant about for a second...
The 6+Free day diets. I've been reading around the forum and I came across this subject nature and I had to laugh. Why have a cheat day? There are so many awesome things out there that will fill your sugar craving for 100 calories or less. I have been sticking strong to this lifestyle change and it's been going very well...I have no one temptation to cheat. If you keep the mind set of always focusing on your free day, you're not really learning anything and practicing good, consistent weight loss. Every day of the week should be the same. You need to find your mind set... learn to eat properly and get over this commercially manufactured carb garbage that got some/most of us here in the first place, I for one am Included.
Oh well.
My foot is falling asleep and I need to pee so...I'm gonna make that happen.
Ciao.

Hey!

I wish I was as strong as you with not being tempted by bad foods. For a while I was really good and it wasnt so hard to not eat badly, but lately my cravings have been sneaking up on me.....and I've been giving into them. I think I need to just go back into full diet mode- only beans, veggies, fruits, and water, I think when I was doing that at first my cravings went away cause I was eating so healthily. Its when I try to allow myself some cheating things that I start craving things non-stop.

You really do inspire me with your dedication :)

talk to you soon.

If you're totally sweet tooth...there are great things out now that is 100 calories that you can treat as your "cheat" every day..... however you're not cheating at all. Thinsations.... they have so many different kinds to choose from now. The carbs are low and they're tasty. I don't eat them everyday cause I'm not really into sweets anymore.

I love TUNA! Right out of the Can.

yeah I bought some of those weight watchers things. I got the carrot cake one that only has 80 calories. They are pretty good, but small of course lol :p

When you eat it, drink a bottle of water with it and get it slow, that'll fill you up and you will have enjoyed it's taste by taking a couple smaller bites :D

I've been reading your back and forth and have to say I'm very impressed--you two seem are doing winderfully and deserve to lose all the weight you have!!

Ms New--I totally support your exercise plans!!! I found that weight training really helped me build muscle I NEED for running fast and long distances, and muscle really helped me lose weight--it's so great for the metabolism! Also, if you used to swim competitively it sounds like something you love. I'd say, get that gym membership and swin your heart out! Apparently, swimming for an hour burns the same calories as running for an hour at a 10-minute mile pace. Like, 685 calories!

Ms Perfect: Your treadmill dedication is inspiring, and your mileage is impressive! Looking forward to your consistent loss because I know youo can do this, look at you--you ARE! :)

Just thought I'd stop in and say hello! I just joined a few days ago and just recently started a healthy lifestyle as well. I'd be glad to give you support and encouragement! You know the best thing about a support system is that giving it to someone else is like giving yourself the same in return. The more the merrier!!

I also love the quote in your signature. It's from switchfoot right? That song really hits home if you take it to heart, doesn't it? What a motivational song!

Yeah, it's from Switchfoot. I believe The Beautiful Letdown album. Very good song. I saw them live in March....took my breath away/
Congrats on the change of lifestyle! We can do it together one step at a time.

May 5th 2007 9:29 PM

Today has been one of "those" days. I went for a 3km walk. Very brisk.
Didn't do too much today when it comes to house work, so I'll do that tomorrow. The boys are taking off 4-wheeling and Mom will be at work. So I'm gonna get up early, got hardcore on the house and when everyone gets home, I'll be awesome. I have mega laundry to do tomorrow.
Forecast For May 6th:
High of 15*C
POP = O%
Sunny, Sunny! :) :) :)

So, 5 loads of laundry? (hung out on the line), Vaccumming, Dusting, Dishes, Sweeping, Mopping, Shower....4km walk, Pilaties and Arm Stuff... and this is a day off? Yeeeeesh.
