you'll do absol;utely fab with you weigh in at the doctorsyouve come a long way already! and i totally understand about what you mean about a fresh start. im starting uni in 2008 and want to be taken seriously for being an athlete and not just some tubby girl trying to be athletic :|
hope you had a lovely long gossip and catch up with your best mate
have a nice day! xx
that's fantastic... but that big a loss makes me concerned enough to ask th questio - are you sure you're eating enough?
the first week or so of healthy eating you tend to lose a lot of water weight but then it stabilizes at about 1 percent of your body weight a week..
that huge loss is totally motivating though isn't it?![]()
Be proud of yourself for sticking to your plan for 2 weeks.. ya done good
Hi Jess and welcome!! Congrats to you for what you've accomplished so far. This is a journey.. hard to get started but very much worth the while. Once you get yourself into a daily routine, you'll find it a lot easier to get motivated to hit the treadmill and exercise.
What has worked for my wife and I is we really hit the portion control button. Personally, I could eat the side of a barn if it was on my plate. I can definitely relate to the Italian food as well.. my total weakness. Keep track of how many calories you take in each day and try to choose a number and stay close to that or under. Sodium is another factor that hinders weight loss and definitely drink plenty of water.. nature's way of flushing your system.
Here's another idea.. Take some pictures of yourself now and then take more in about a month and you will be able to see the difference. Huge way to continue your self-motivation. Plus, take measurements as well!
Well, best of luck to you! There are many wise and supportive people on this site. Best damn Bulletin Board I've ever been on!
Take care!
