Day 16 (week 3)
Thanks Karl and Lisa! You guys rock!
It feels go good to be focussed again.
Had a very productive day. Started off with an hour on the treadmill. Not sure what the muscles on the front of the lower leg are called, but the last few days has them aching like buggery!!!
I have eaten extremely well today, but then again food to me is simply that: Food. I eat because I am hungry, and now I have my (boring for some) regular routene of six small meals. I am never hungry
Karl, I pulled the old bike (well almost new dispite being over 2 years old) from the garage and gave it a full maintainance checkover. It's all ready to go! In a way, it's kind of good that my 4-wheel drive died (towed it back from the garage today with a cracked head). Now I will be relying on the bike to get around our tiny rural town: Positive use of my time! I even made a holder for my iPhone (for which I downloaded a GPS/Tracker/Speedo). Yet to take it out on my first run, but tomorrow morning might be a good time.
I have a wedding to go to tommorrow. A mate of mine from school is finally tying the knot with his longterm G/F. I am going to try to avoid drinking, but I have a feeling I may be tempted by a glass or two of bubbly. As the food will be a set menu, things should be ok (fingers crossed).
On a side note, We just had wireless installed a few weeks ago and I am enjoying typing away this evening, cosy in bed next to my wife who is doing the exact same thing on her laptop (but a different forum). The wonders of technology! It's my new plan to go to bed a half hour early and update my progress and catch up on the progress of you guys. Going to sleep after reading about the successes of the wonderful people in here is condusive to a positive sleep filled with good vibes!
