Well done both of you...

I hate blisters... Sometimes a compeed helps - but I have to admit that I burst and bandaged the blister I had a couple of weeks ago as the compeed didn't help at all.

Great job Omega!

I'm bouncing around 10,000. Now that I'm slowly incorporating some running, I'm no longer going on those 5 mile walks and getting in quite as many steps (although I'm burning as many if not more calories)...

Well done! I can dance - but I would not like to consider running...

Exercise free days for me here at the minute as I am ill, so my pedometer is having a quiet time.

Thursday 22/10/2020........................... 1,406 steps all in the house

My husband used the Reebok treadmill for his walk as I wasn't going out - and (unsurprisingly since he is well over the max weight) it burnt out and is now rubbish...

We have been in touch with the Tunturi people to see if we can get the Tunturi working again - but apparently the order for parts we made a month ago is still stuck...

We have a recumbent bike on order and my husband is now checking the internet for fold-away treadmills to see if there is one that folds as small as the Reebok and takes his weight...

I'm really enjoying the gorgeous fall weather:

10/22: 15,594
10/23: 13,491
10/24: 13,127
10/25: 12,571

Omega: that's a shame about the Reebok treadmill. I hope you get the Tunturi up and running again soon.

Great steps Err :hurray:

The latest news on the treadmill saga is that Rod is voting to buy a new Reebok where the max weight is 6kg less than his current weight. It folds up small so would be convenient if the Tunturi was not fixed yet and we were stuck in. Reeboks seem to fold a lot smaller than the alternatives... They seem to cut off their model range just short of what we need. We have been having a lot of discussions on the subject. There is no doubt that the best solution is getting the Tunturi fixed... It is basically a gym quality treadmill so can easily cope with our weights and can cope with a fair bit of use.

Friday 23/10/2020................................. 2,052 steps
Saturday 24/10/2020............................ 12,104 steps
Sunday 25/10/2020............................... 11,607 steps

Well done with those steps - especially that long hike. Fantastic steps...

We are living in changing times and it is affecting my step counts...

The weather isn't great here - and will not be great over winter and I haven't currently got a treadmill that works.
The bits for the Tunturi still haven't arrived... We are going to try to order generics and see if we can get those... Not sure whether the virus or Brexit is causing the problem with the order we have waited 6 weeks for...

We got an exercise bike (delivered on Wednesday) which enables us to do a new alternative form of exercise... I've been playing with raising the resistance on it and cutting the time so that I can get exercise without really contributing towards the step count. I have to admit that it is fun playing with something new...

Zumba days (Monday and Friday) have been giving steps as has my salsa class on Tuesday.

We are going into lockdown again on Thursday. We think that zumba on Monday and salsa on Tuesday will go ahead ok (unless we get a new announcement).
