blonds...

Colored eyes rule. Dark hair and colored eyes is very dramatic. Then again, colored eyes are very dramatic regardless.

I love...

..being of darker hair, and carmel complexion. Everyone is beautiful in their own right; It seems to me that most people are attracted to what is different from them.
Usually blonde hair catches my eye on a male...mostly red hair!
It's different, therefore attractive!:azzangel:

hair

I use to get "Blondie drop your laundry"...sigh:...I think it also depends on the person/personality . I think it would be interesting hearing from a woman that changes her hair colour often they would see the difference in how people react...I can't dye my hair dark because I have pale skin and it makes me look ill...would love to have a nicebrown colour (Eva Longoria)? hairstyle!! once in a while anyway...

I honestly don't really care if she's blond or brunette, as long as it suits. I look at my women from the ground up. By the time I get to her hair color it's almost irrelevant.

Having said that, redheads frighten me. They are vicious creatures, and should be locked away somewhere dark and very cold.

Also, if she has really pretty eyes, I'll overlook pretty much everything else. No fatties, though. Which has been (and remains) a completely hypocritical standard, but I'm working on it. My being fat I mean. NO FATTIES. XD

The hair colour that really turns me green with jealousy is that sort of deep, chestnut red (natural) ... it's pretty rare so I don't often feel envy hehe.

My hair is thick, up to my waist, dark brown with a hint of auburn in the sun and I wouldn't have it any other way. Blondes don't faze me anymore than other brunettes do. The way the hair is worn usually catches my attention more.

I was born a platinum blonde and now I'm dirty blonde. I've got blue/grey eyes, and depending on the light, they can look dark blue or blue/green.

I always wanted dark brown hair and dark brown eyes because nobody in my family has brown hair or brown eyes. We're all a bunch of pale skinned, blonde, blue-eyed northern Europeans.

So about 10 years ago, I decided to dye my hair brown. I was treated completely different by men. I wasn't treated like a mindless bimbo anymore. Men actually took me seriously and were interested in having long-term relationships with me. They wanted to listen to what I had to say. That was a first for me. When I got tired of having brown hair, I went back to my natural color. That's when men started treating me like an idiot again and telling blonde jokes to me, and pretty much making fun of everything I did, just like before. Despite having a BSc and a BA, and always being in the top of my class, men here automatically assumed I was an idiot because I was blonde. When I wasn't an idiot, they gave me the impression they were shocked and disappointed.

That experiment was a rude awakening for me. I was the same person as I was before. I just had different colored hair. That made a world of difference to North American men.

Brunette women have got it made in the shade on this continent. If I didn't look so crappy with brown hair, I'd dye it brown all the time. But with the fair skin I've got, I can't have brown hair.

What made this all even weirder was that I only had this problem with North American men. Men in other areas of the world never had a problem with my blonde hair and blue-eyes, and they never assumed I was an idiot because of the color of my hair. Therefore, I think the blonde stereotype is exclusively a North American phenomena.

I think that only men know why they are this way with blondes. The bottom line is it's just really degrading.

I don't think it's an exclusively North American stereotype. It probably differs from state to state too. In some places it's probably more pronounced, but I assure you, the stereotype exists in Australia too.

Oh. That's not encouraging, is it? I have never been to Australia, so I wasn't aware of that.

I was in Europe. Maybe I come across completely differently when I'm speaking German ...

ahhh yes... do you have a strong accent when you speak English? I'm afraid all the 'Nadia's of shows and movies like American Pie have contributed to the dumb-bimbo appearance of foreign girls, especially blonde ones.

Nein, I have zero accent ;) But I can speak English with a strong German accent, although it's not very sexy unless you're into Stasi fantasies :p

Blonde, brunette, redhead....I'm not picky :p

Actually, I'm not really a fan of blondes. Don't get me wrong, I don't think they're ugly or stereotype or anything, I just don't get the whole "weak at the knees" thing...

Redheads however...they come in two varieties, hot or not. Very rarely do you find one in the middle. But readheads, I do get weak at the knees. Especially tan redheads....yikes.

You've obviously NEVER been in a relationship with a strong blonde. No weak at the knees crap there. Totally different experience ;)

Oh, I was talking how GUYS get weak at the knees whenever one walks in the room. Never really understood it. Guess it's cause I have a thing for tan redheads, lol.

I had a couple week thing with one...actually, she was the only blond I've ever had a "thing" with. VERY photogenic:

Been a couple years though...whatever year the Superbowl was in Jacksonville.

A two week thing? What's the point?

Actually, don't even bother to answer that. I've got really strict morals. I realize there are people who do that. I just don't know why anybody would.
