Thanks LaMa, thinking about it the myfitnesspal app tells me I should still be losing weight but I'm not. Maybe another way of saying what you did. If after getting an honest count I start losing weight I will up the calories, but the last week I have gained a little, no risk right now...I hope you're guilty of underestimating! If you are that means you're pretty much eating a "normal" amount again.
I measured and I did eat a cup of hot sauce with lunch, and counted it as 59 calories. Those are calories I would have missed before, as I said the label says zero, but I know that is for a pretty small portion. I have no problem with hot sauce, I use it a bit like tomato sauce, but may do less now that I know how many calories it has. Probably worse is the sodium...A cup of hot sauce sounds painful. Counting everything - when your counting at all - seems sensible. Maybe after a while you can set up a calorie buffer for the amount of low-cal foods you normally eat and just weigh the more calorie dense foods but for now certainty seems to be your friend.
I did want to eat much of yesterday but managed to hold off until late, too late to want to make up the calorie deficit. Did a bit better today. Though my sodium was higher than I would have liked...Being a bit short sometimes because you're not hungry is fine
It's very smart! I did the same last night and had a good sleep.but managed to hold off until late, too late to want to make up the calorie deficit. Did a bit better today.
Either is possible of course. In the end the number doesn't really matter as long as you're consistent. If this app shows you eating 10% fewer calories and your weight is still stable on those calories... the end result is the same even if the number doesn't sound as nice. This new calorie counting app I am using seems to show fewer calories, but maybe I am paying more attention.
You are right of course, but as I get used to it I seem to be getting better counts. I think the agreement is getting better. Just wish I could figure out how to download a more meaningful summary to post here. Will ask the nutritionist about it tommorrow. In the end the number doesn't really matter as long as you're consistent.
You are doing great! I usually do 30 minutes per day or so, after 2 hours I just feel tired and don't want to do gymnastic next day.2 hours in at the gym
Screenshot? It's good to hear you're doing so wellJust wish I could figure out how to download a more meaningful summary to post here.
