Lift, Train, Fitness

While I have been taking some down time this arvo, I have been looking at videos on building a cable pully system into my power cage, they were basically how I was planning to do it anyway confirming I am on the right track. It should cost me about $25 of bits from Bunnings. Having a cable setup just adds extra exercise options. I am also on the looking for some strongman equipment, including a large tractor tyre for flipping and a sled harness for truck/car pulls.

Tomorrow I need to get to work on an info graphic for the final sports psychology assessment which is due on the same day as the last exam for the subject.

little Miss is clearly a force to be reckoned with :rotflmao: Sounds like she'll grow up to be as formidable as she now is adorable.

Made progress in adding to the gym today, posted pics in the strength club.

Also tidied up a bit and realised I have not actually considered exactly how much stuff I am slowly accumulating lol

Solid training session today which I will post in the strength club shortly. It is really starting to heat up outside, fatigue is improved today but I will see if it hits me this arvo.

I am feeling fatigue again, but not to the point of falling into a heap on the couch unable to move, so there is some progress. time to cook and take my melatonin for the evening.

Solid Squat session, despite feeling crap, now just trying to cool down before going out to sand the deadlift bar jack I have been making.

I continue to be amazed by all you accomplish despite feeling bad. And I love that quote; half my socialization must come from people explaining life to Data :D

Spending time wallowing in feeling bad is just making me feel worse, I am pushing through with the training because ultimately If I can get some of my fitness back, I should also regain some of my health. I don't want to have little miss see her mum give up.

Today is a rest day from lifting, however I have clocked up a couple of K of hill walking collecting the bin from the bottom of the driveway this morning.

I have some DOMS this morning, mild quadricep, moderate glute and some in a muscle I wasn't expecting, the serratus anterior. Possible cause of the serratus DOMS is the TRX pistol squats and the arm position for the front squats, both exercises that I do not do often.

Little miss is a born torturer umm I mean trainer, she had me skipping (jump rope) in between each set today, which was a little painful with 2nd day DOMS in the quads. I will post training session in the Strength club challenge shortly.
