Local shrimp are very expensive so I just get the frozen ones. 2 lbs for $14 or so. Not too bad.

Yes it was strange wearing the mask. People can’t see you smile and it’s kinda off putting. But only once a week I’m going to the grocery store. My sis is sending me some masks. I ordered some from China and that should be here later this month or next month. I also ordered cloth mask and I’m not sure when those will come in. Right now I have 9 more mask.

My sis is sending me a n95 mask for the trip on the 22 to Boston to wear on the plane. My one stop is in Puerto Rico.

I also bought a visor to put over the face. Don’t know when that will come.

There are no local places that sell any of the PPE. I have to order online.
 
And not sure if I mentioned it but the beaches are closed per the governor. So I might be able to go one day before I leave since they will be reopened on the 20th and I leave on the 22nd.
 
Hope the beaches reopen! Hard to imagine being in St Croix without the beach.

When I lived in Florida the fresh caught local shrimp were a bit more expensive, but not much. Hard to beat fresh caught shrimp boiled with the heads on! Actually frozen shrimp are not bad either, not a huge difference, but I always like the aesthetics of the whole heads on shrimp with the long antenna. And you do get a bit of the head fat that's lost in processing.

Sounds like you are planning for a pretty safe trip home, hope all works out well.

Today I’m fasting. Already skipped breakfast.

I know I ate too much this past week. Gained a little. Just a week and a half left to go home. Then I will start back again on my dieting. And back to walking. I just hope the park isn’t closed.
 
Hope the fast went well for you.

Even if your lake is closed there should be somewhere you can safely walk, I hope so. You could probably find out online about your park.
 
I ended the fast at dinner yesterday. Today I fasted for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is air fryer chicken leg with rice and beans. I’m cooking today.

I have a hard time falling asleep.
 
I have so much trouble sleeping after one of my 500 cal fasts. It's the worst part of them. I also find that people not being able to see me smile is the worst part of wearing a mask. Do you feel safe on St Croix, Vic? Has the virus hit there too?
 
Yes, Cate, I do feel safe staying here in St Croix. Yes, the virus hit here too. The cases are low as of today. And no deaths yet.

My flight got cancelled so I had to rebook on a different airline. So I’m leaving one day later.

Today I ate butter bread and cheese and salami all day. Also raisin bread. Tomorrow the same. We were getting pizza today but nothing was prepared when I got there.

A little over a week left before I leave. I can’t wait. Just so I can exercise. Looking forward to go for a long walk.

I have had a hard time falling asleep this past week. I’m thinking about staying awake all night tonight and then sleep at a normal time tomorrow.

I would love to reach my goal weight this year. As soon as I go back I will work on that. Right now I’ve been maintaining. Fluctuating around 5 lbs. I like this weight but lower would be nice.
 
Maintaining is good under the circumstances, Vic. Will you have to be quarantined at home when you return?

I did overeat on pancakes that I should not have had. Already regretting it. Oh well I hope I do better tomorrow. Planning on doing IF. Maybe skip breakfast or maybe lunch.

I’m back to trying to stay up all night. Woke up a little earlier than usual. It’s late here and I’m up and not sleeping. Watching a series on Netflix. Around 3 am I get tired and go to bed. So I’m going to push through.

I am planning on doing some grocery shopping in the morning. Hopefully my last one here.

Just a week and a wake up and I’ll be on a plane. So far the covid19 numbers haven’t changed in 5 days! Here. Where I’m going to the numbers are high.
 
Today I had butter bread and cheese and salami. Coffee with creamer. When I get back home I’ll go back to using almond milk.

I’m back to a decent time on the sleeping. I hope I can keep it up.

Today I had a little butter bread with cheese and salami for breakfast. I skipped lunch and dinner was chicken thigh and an arugula salad.
 
So today I’m fasting until dinner. It’s going to be steak and an arugula salad. 4 more days until I leave. Beaches are opening back up tomorrow. So I’ll go on Tuesday.
