Cate's Diary

Thanks Mowens! I think I remember doing that on another forum. I really don´t like it though; I´m going to assume that it´s safe to do but I don´t like putting my pics in more places than absolutely necessary.

At least for that particular site, the photos you upload aren't visible or accessible to anyone else to view. It's about as private as you're going to get unless you own a Flickr or Photobucket account where you upload your personal photos.

I have fluked putting thumbnails on a few times, but have no idea how I did it. How I put these on, is opening a new tab to my Facebook, going to the photo I want, right-clicking on "copy this photo" & then going back to my WLF tab, right-clicking "paste". It seems to be the quickest way for me anyway, but is always HUGE!

I'm going to go find a phone app that will let me re-size my photos easily, but doesn't require me sharing them.......

My head hurts today, so if this has already been said ignore me...haha. ... if you want to upload pics from your computer and not upload them to a photo hosting site, all you have to do is hit "upload a file" next to Post reply.

I'm usually trying to do it from my phone & the photos are too large.
I'm going to try using a simple app(called SimpleResize)
YAY!

Oh wow, jen. Somehow I've never paid any attention to that. I'm always uploading images from my PC so that would cut out several steps. Haha! Oh well, live and learn.

Great Pics, Cate. That area looks a little like our Rocky Mountains. Although our mountains don't have as many trees on them.

The entire (sane) world is trembling at the thought of this spoiled man-child being anywhere near the controls of nuclear weapons. The current (never-ending) Austrian election cycle is just as frustrating, though fortunately a lot less momentous.

Also: just got a haircut, nothing much left to rip at :p

Cowboy- That is only a 20 minute drive from our home. We are so lucky to live where we do. We can be at the beach or up a beautiful mountain within 30 minutes. We live on 50 acres & the view from our house on Sunday was this-

The soil is nice & soft at the moment, after a ridiculous amount of rain recently. I might just stick to planting out tomato seeds though.....& yes, I mean tomato seeds!

My dad grew tomatoes one year and it was weird. The regular tomato plants he put into the ground sprouted tiny little tomatoes but the grape (or cherry) tomatoes he planted grew HUGE tomatoes. And, no...he didn't mix up the seeds. I was there when he planted them. It was weird.
