I'm a newbie and wanted to make some friends on here!
I'm gonna start a diary on here....just trying to work it out!
Have been writing things down last 2 days as I have a tendency to binge when stressed but I'm off work....so not stressed!lol.

Can I ask you how you put weight on in the first place?I think if we tackle the why then it stops relapses and helps you identify trigger moments and helps you avoid them ot deal with them differently.

And what is the time difference where you are?it's 8pm in UK.

Well, here's a list of the reasons why I think it happened in the first place but the main problem I think was suddenly having an appetite (I was never a big eater) and with portion sizes.

I also now can list foods that I love, but back then food was just a thing I had to do to stay alive.
I also do a lot of physical work (living on a farm) so it increased my appetite and it was the whole well I worked hard and burned it off etc etc.
I can binge eat but I'm mainly a healthy eater but I hate seeing food wasted so finishing off other peoples food didnt help.
Also having friends who eat loads but are twigs, certainly hasnt helped.
Cravings
Carbs,carbs,carbs - pasta especially :/
Basically my whole attitude with food.

I think there's other reasons but my mind has completely blanked :/

But I am going to get back on track and want to start competing in triathlons (I could now but I'm too self consess and when I do start I want to look and be at my best) I'm not 'fat' but I know if I don't get my weight back down I won't be happy with myself again and I don't want to get any heavier.

Haha yupp street dancing :L It's with friends and well it's a laugh anyway. My mum knows cuz I sometimes have to make something else for dinner cuz tonight it was going to be egg and chips and I was just like I'm soooo not risking that and made myself a jacket potato. And my sister is the 'could eat as much as elephant' type and still not gain an ounce, soo not fair. I haven't told any friends or anything though cuz I'll get the usual 'nooo you dont need to diet' and all that rubbish, and theyre like size zeros as it is. Have you told anyone?

nope no way I don't feel the need to.
I noticed how you say mum and eat egg and chips, are you British or something?

I've always struggled with my weight but generally I look ok(i'm size14/16 and 5ft 8") but def look and feel alot better a couple of stone lighter!My height means I hide it well!

I love my food...always have. But I love exercise too.I know all the rules to weight loss and I'm not messing about anymore.No more fads(done them all form WW to Atkins to Cabbage Soup) or diet pills or starving.I'm keeping it simple!Gonna start my journal tomoro.Think that will help!
Anyway gotta go...my fiancee home soon from Man City match..let's hope they won!

Yeah it is, we're slightly outnumbered on here! :smilielol5:

I know, it's like swap bodies, please? If that's not enough my sister is like that which really doesnt help. Ohh well, they won't get the satisfaction of losing the weight, right? :)

I also look ok, bout a size 12/10 but it varies from clothes or shop which is annoying, but seeing as I'm quite short I'd look and feel a lot better if I shed a few pounds! But on the bright side I think a lot of my weight is hidden in muscle.

Haha we have the exact same attitude! I love exercise...but unfortunatly food aswell. I know all the rules and bla bla bla. I'm also going for the simple route and plan on sticking with it.

I'm officially back to where I was last time before it went KUPUT. 136 pounds :), just need to get past this barrier then I know I can do it! Not going to weigh myself for a while now cuz I hate seeing those numbers creep up. Today was probably the worst day I've had so far, yet nothing major.

Breakfast: Rice Krispies & sweetner & skimmed milk.

Lunch:
Tuna & mayonaise wholemeal roll & pack of wotsits.

Snack:
Diet coke.

Dinner:
Lasange (yumm) & peas & 2 slices of WW bread.

Pudding: 1 choc mousse & 2 rich tea biscuits.

Not looking forward to christmas, I plan on just having the meal and no chocolate and stuff but it's not gunna be easy.

Lunch: Tuna mayonaise wholemeal sandwich & choc crunch & diet coke.

Snack: 1 rich tea biscuit.

Dinner: Baked potato & tuna mayonaise & 2 cheese slices.

Pudding: 1 choc mousse.

Haha uhmm yeah I'm kinda predictable :p

Did 39 mins on exercise bike today which burned 268 calories (apparently :L)

Wooo weekend, about time too! Aha
 
Pretty bad day food wise, at least it feels it :/

Breakfast: Rice snaps, sweetner & skimmed milk. Apple juice.

Lunch: Mcflurry :S then left over lasagne & (of course) diet coke.

Dinner:
2 cheese slices and 1 choc mousse and diet coke. - not really dinner but y'anno.

Going to go on bike later. Just came on computer to update this, then it's back to study time :p I also do other exercise throughout the day btww :)
 
Did 30 mins on ex. bike last night :) bout 218 cals.

Today another pretty rubbish day but at least tomorrow it's back to routine :)

Snack: Hot chocolate.

Lunch: Roast beef.

Dinner: Cheesecake.

Hmmm :/ Ohh wells. Another half an hour on bike tonight planned :D

Good things is, I feel stuffed, so maybe my appetite is decreasing or something? Well a girl can hope anyway. Going to do half an hour on exercise bike tonight as usual and want to start doing it in the mornings as well but that'll mean getting up even earlier as I have to get up early to muck out etc the horses and cows. Hmmm... I need to figure this one out :toetap05:
 
Okay so when I started I was 140pounds and I'm now at 135 :) Hoping to get into the 134s tomorrow, cuz I feel I've hit a bit of a barrier. I've decided I'm seriously going to crank this thang up now, so starting tomorrow it's more fruit and veg and minimal (hopefully none, but after I all I need to be realistic) bad things (like choc mousses etcc). I'm doing this for myself but also to show others I really can do this, I'm sick and tired of being the average girl and sometimes below average (haha school :/), the girl guys never seem to be intrested in anymore :( I also have a goal of taking up running and doing well. So yeah enough with the rant, I'm not gunna just sit and moan about being a failure only I can turn this around! Pheww glad that's off my chest, so back to food :/

Breakfast: Rice snaps, sweetner & skimmed milk.

Lunch:Tuna mayo sandwich & iced choc sponge (school pudding).

Dinner: Tuna mayo & bit of pasta.

Pudding: 1 choc mousse.

Haha with all this tuna I must seem like a vegetarian :L

So starting tomorrow I'm cutting out the sweetner with breakfast, yeah it's a hell of a lot less calories than sugar but still calories at the end of the day. No more desserts only fruit. And cut back on diet coke cuz that is just turning into a bad habit, although it really helps me as fizzy drinks make me full (only diet ones are in though).

Just going to add a few more tunes to mp3 as there's a limit of how many times I can listen to a song (I just end up killing them aha). Then it's off to the gym and hopefully an early night so I can get up at 5:55am for half an hour on ex.bike before I start jobs out on the farm. I don't see it happening myself but I'm gunna give it a try!
 
Right I've been a bit slack on here the last couple of days but ohhh wells. :dupe: :O But wait for it I'm finally in the 134s!! I'm so happpy that I've finally broken that barrier, I thought that one pound was never gunna shift but now it has I know I can do this! :D So yeah I'm off now cuz I don't wanna waste daylight hours! :)
 
I've decided that I'm mainly gunna use my diary for logging what I eat - as I do loads of exercise, and the food part is my downfall... So I've lost 6 pounds so far but still not good enough! Ahaha. My first goal is to get to 125pounds (to me 8stone13) - but then my goal is always to be one pound less! ...or more :p So I've got 9pounds to go before I reach it but it's gunna feel so good.

Breakfast: Cornflakes, skim milk, sweetner & glass of orange juice.

Lunch: Tuna mayo wholemeal sandwich & pack of quavers.

Dinner: Casserole & potato.

Dessert:
Angel delight. Nomm :)

Did a load of exercise but couldn't do anymore as I've got really bad blisters :/
