Ok so myself and my friend had a discussion on women lifting weights and I showed him the sticky on this forum to back up my points but then he stumped me with this, so any insight would be really appreciated
We were talking about woman not getting 'big' from working out, I was aying of course they should train in the same way men do because hormonally they cant reach the same size as guys without testosterone boosters etc..
He said though that they should only lift, low weights for high reps because this triggers slow twitch muscle growth and these are the muscles you see on dancers for example and thats the type of physique women aspire to look like.
Any insights?
