Wishful Shrinking

Your bedroom looks amazing!!

BUT...I'm sorry to say...i think your ADORABLE LITTLE PUPPY stole the show!! How cute!!!!!

Your room looks great!! I love redoing rooms! It makes everything fresh and gives it a whole new feel! it's like moving somewhere new- but with a lot less work!

and whole wow!!! Your inches lost are amazing!! That's great! you should be so happy! 8inches! WOW!! that's fantastic!

lol thanks!! My baby always steals the show! He manages to sneak into pictures all the time! haha That's my Spencer!

I was actually shocked at my inches lost! I was really only measuring again for fun. I was bored. I really didn't expect much at all!!

It's awesome work on the inches!! It makes me want to bust the tape out and measure :)

What type of dog is Spencer? He's adorable!!

I love pets...i got a kitten back in Dec..and he's just my sweet heart! He's totally bad, and possibly a demon rather than a cat- BUT HE'S SO ADORABLE! I can't get over how cute he is when he's bad! hehe

Well yesterday was interesting to day the least. I've been incredibly bad these last couple of days.

I haven't been getting much sleep. I go to bed around 10pm and I end up waking up at like 3 or 4 and I can't get back to sleep until about 11am. Yesterday, I slept from 11am until 7pm because I was just soo exhausted. I haven't worked out in two days. I feel terrible! So today I'm going to get my ass back in gear and work extra hard. Hopefully I haven't gained any weight. I most likely haven't since I haven't eaten badly, I've just haven't really eaten much at all. We'll see what happens. I need to get my sleep cycle back on track!

I haven't been noticing much of a difference in my weight since I've lost 20+ lbs but today I made a little comparison. This morning I cut my hair (yes, I cut my own hair) and added some layers. I took a picture to upload to facebook and noticed that my face is significantly thinner. I used to have to hold the camera at a higher angle to eliminate a double chin but the camera was level with my face this morning and it looks so much better!

Here is a comparison. It's not perfect because the angles aren't identical but you can definitely see a difference!

Forgive me bloggers for I have sinned. It has been three days since I last workout out and 6 hours since my last tequila shot.

Moderation was not my forte last night. My husband and I went out to the bar with some friends and my self control went out the window. At first I was fine. I was drinking water as per the usual, but when Chris' friend showed up all heartbroken, asking for someone to do a shot with him, I obliged. I thought it was just going to be one shot. I hate tequila anyway... or tequila hates me. A little while later, he was asking me to do another. Two shots later and I was drinking a beer... and then another. Six hours later and I'm now awake and regretting ever last drop of alcohol. I never realized how much I DIDN'T miss drinking!

Someone once said to me, “When life hands you lemons - break out the tequila and salt”. I disagree. Life is going to have to hand me a couple of aspirin with those lemons once it catches up with me in the morning. No thanks.

So back to my main point. I'm a bad girl.
  • Wednesday I didn't work out because I spent several hours putting furniture together.
  • Thursday I didn't work out because I went to Karaoke with my husband on his day off.
  • Friday I didn't work out because I spent the day styling my hair rather than my body.
  • Saturday I'm going to work out because Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are mad at me.

It appears that when my husband is off work, I'm off my routine. It's really no good. Although, he did make me a wonderfully healthy dinner last night so I'm really grateful. But he's usually only off on Friday and Saturday so Thursday kind of threw my for a loop. I need to make it a point to be better even when he's home.

Now I'm off to spend some quality time with my pillow. I think my head is about to fall off.

Can def see a difference in those photos! You're really pretty, by the way :)

Don't worry too much about the tequila (Why, whyyyyy chose tequila!? The drink of the devil! :p) Today is a new day :D

Thank you :)
The tequila was awful. I've got many a bad memory with it! I was coerced. I said I'd do anything but tequila but he was heartbroken and all he wanted was tequila. Now my body is very upset with me! lol

Well crap. What an awful weekend. With the exception of Saturday (which was actually a good day), I have set myself back about 1.5lbs. But I'm determined that I can fix it. My husband is back to work today so we're back to my routine.

Love your new haircut!!! It turned out really cute!

As for the small gain - we all fall down once in a while. As long as we keep getting back up it'll be fine. You'll have that little bit back off in no time!

It is a beautiful day!! Well, what I would consider a beautiful day. I'm in my happy place. It's snowing and it is absolutely gorgeous! I love it!

So here's a little update. I lost -0.7lbs today which puts me at a total of -23.2lbs. I've also lost another 3.25 inches all over! Woohoo!! It's going to be a great day! I can feel it!

I'm back and better than ever!!

Hmm, alcohol. I went 21 days without a drink until last Saturday. Not because I'm an alcoholic trying to quit but because of the diet I was on. I did so absolutely fine without the alcohol it made me realize anyone who had ever accused me of being one was wrong. Not that many have, just a doctor or two when I would answer truthfully to the question "how many alcoholic drinks do you consume per week." LOL...sort of. :D

Don't worry about the 3 days of falling off track. Hop back on and forget about it. In 7 to 10 days you'll work those 3 days off, no problem.

Thanks!
Who needs 7-10 days... I've worked it off already!! :)
As of this morning I've officially lost 25lbs! (25.2 to be exact)

WOW! -19 lbs! That is awesome. Keep up the good work. Sounds like you really push through when you are having those hard days which is a key factor in losing weight. Keep up the positivity and the posts.

Hi Kaylee :)

Congrats on the 25lb loss so far. That's amazing!!! I can totally see the difference in your face.

Love the haircut, especially the bangs, you gave yourself. So cute!

You seem extremely determined and motivated and you are definitely on the right path. I look forward to seeing you meet your goal! :)

Thanks for all the support! It really keeps me going!!

So today I picked up my new Jillian Michaels dumbbell set and 15lb. kettlebell! I'm really excited to kick up my workout routines.

Do you use Jillian's dvds? I have been working out to a few of them and I was wondering what ones you tried.
I have tried the 30 day shred, Blast Fat - Boost Metabolism and the No More Trouble Zones dvds so far.

I actually don't but I'm kind of curious to try them. My mom actually ordered the weights for me as a birthday gift. My dumbbell set came with an instructional dvd so I'm going to check that out and maybe I'll get some of her other dvd in the future.

Well tonight I did my first workout with my new weights! It was intense but great. I definitely have a lot of work to do but I'm determined that I can work my way up to some harder exercises!
