Wishful Shrinking

Well today has been an incredibly productive day!!
I weighed myself when I woke up and I was pleasantly surprised to see that I have dropped another 1.6 lbs! Thankfully that TOM is over and I feel rejuvenated! I had breakfast as usual (2 eggs and a cup of green tea) and took my probiotic supplements and multivitamin. I managed to get 2 loads of laundry done and the kitchen is now spotless. After the hubby left for work, I put on my workout clothes and got my butt onto the treadmill. Unfortunately my dog is still not used to it so I have to cage him when I workout or he'll bark the whole time. I did 20 minutes of intervals on the treadmill and took a short break to switch the laundry over. Then it was time for wii fit. I was pretty drained by the time I got to the plank so I didn't do so well on that but I pushed through and got 50 minutes of wii fit plus in. I broke some of my records and felt pretty accomplished by the end of everything. Dinner is now in the oven (salmon) and I'm ready to relax! Hopefully tomorrow will be another great day!

Edit: I'll leave you with a picture of my dinner! It was great! Salmon and steamed veggies! Also, I find it helpful to use the smaller plates in my dinnerware set. It helps me eat smaller portions!

Hi. I think the title of your journal is awesome! Very creative. :D I am also on a rapid weight loss diet. As long as you have a plan for maintaining your weight loss, I don't see anything wrong with losing more than 2 pounds per week. Obviously you will need to educate yourself as much as possible on avoiding muscle loss too.

Your husband sounds like a good dude but I think he is pretty darn lucky too. Not every wife makes it a point to praise her husband. You just keep on doing that and you and your sweetheart will last forever. :)

Thanks!
I sure hope so. :)

So this morning I weighed in at 271.6 which puts me at -19lbs. 1 more and I'll hit the 20 lb milestone! WoohoO!

-19?!! That's fantastic!!!

What's your reward for hitting the awesome amount of -20!!?

No reward, just the satisfaction of knowing that I've lost 20 lbs. This week we're booking out Anniversary trip to a Lady Antebellum concert so I suppose that could be my reward.

Any day with a workout jammed in feels like a better day, for sure :)
Get after it, girl!

Definitely!
I was soo incredibly unmotivated today but I forced myself to do my 1hr workout and I feel so much better! :hurray:]
Hopefully tomorrow I'll step on the scale and I'll make it to the -20 lb mark!

Well today has been another great day! I was incredibly unmotivated but I forced myself to get off my butt!! I accomplished 10 minutes on the treadmill (just to warm up), 55 minutes on the wii fit and 20 minutes of free weights. I'd say it has been a pretty productive day! I've managed to get my 8 glasses of water, I've eaten well and now I'm exhausted!

When you are exhausted you know you have done well.
Keep up the good work:seeya:

Wow! for not feeling motivated you sure kicked butt!! You should be so proud that you did all that, especially when you weren't feeling like it- that's huge! Makes me realized that I should go to the gym today, even though I don't want too!

And OMG!! WOOOOOOHOOOOO!! Congrats on the fantastic weight loss!
*throws confetti!*

Keep it up! You're doing an AMAZING job!

Thanks!! :) I'm so proud of myself!
One again I'm not motivated today but I'm off to workout soon.

My mom started the diet about 3 days ago and she's lost 1.5lbs. I love inspiring people!

Well I thought yesterday was a very unproductive day. I didn't get much sleep so I was exhausted all day long! I forced myself to get out of bed and workout but I only managed 40 minutes. I had a bit of a digestive issue but that's now thankfully resolved and it turns out I've lost another lb today. So I guess yesterday wasn't so bad after all. Today I should be booking my anniversary trip to see Lady Antebellum in Tunica! I'm so excited!

That's great about your mom!! It's so great that she's doing it as well- you two can support each other!

And, I'm just going to say it- but 40 minutes on a day that you're exhausted? Damn girl! I do 40 minutes on my very best days!!! On days I feel tired I can barely make it! You're doing fantastic! And some days your body is just telling you that it needs a rest! You shouldn't feel bad about taking it easy on those days- because you're doing great every other day!!

That's so exciting about your trip!!! YAY! When do you leave? :)

Yeah, I wish my mom wasn't 1000miles away so she could workout with me!

I feel guilty very easily. If I don't stick to my monthly goal of an hour a day, I feel like I'm cheating. Which is absurd, I know.

Our 2 year anniversary is on February 27th but we're going to wait until March 10th. Lady Antebellum is playing at Harrah's Casino in Tunica MS and there's a cheap package that includes room, buffet and the concert. We're not sure how long we're going to stay yet. I'm hoping we can make it the whole weekend but money is tight so we'll see!

Well it's been a pretty interesting day. My husband went to pick up our new furniture from site to store at walmart today. When he got back I decided to put it all together by myself (since he was heading to work). So I got the various parts out and started to assemble my new vanity and before I new it, I had missed dinner. It took me 3 hrs to put together a vanity and 2 small chests. I guess walmart has been channeling ikea lately. Anyway, I'm exhausted and the handy work took a lot out of me so no workout today. But hey, I deserve a day off!

Anyway! Here are some photos of my new bedroom! I'm quite pleased.
