Define frustration:
Frustration is an emotional response to circumstances where one is obstructed from arriving at a personal goal. The more important the goal, the greater the frustration. It is comparable to anger and disappointment.
My personal goal is weight loss. It is very important to me. I'm angry at myself and disappointed. I am the obstruction. I've been in a yo-yo pattern for years now:
1998: 180 (freshman year of HS)
1999: 200
2000: 215
2001: 230
2002: 190
2003: 215
2004: 240
2005: 275
2006: 240
2007: 270
2008: 307
I have no excuse. I need to lose weight and lots of it.
I'm going to update this blog without exception.
My goal is to drop 50 lbs before December 14th, 2008. That leaves me 104 days/3.5 months/15 weeks. To lose 50 lbs, I'd have to drop 3-4 lbs a week. I think if I change my diet and exercise, I can achieve this. I eat horribly (pizza, fast food, chinese) and rarely workout. I am 25 going on 26.
I moved from the East Coast to the West Coast for a job. When I return home to see my family and friends for Christmas, I want to be healthy. I said the same thing last year...
