Whatever it takes to lose this tire!

Just did a lot of walking today with a backpack blower.. a lot of walking. My pedometer says 12 miles in 3 hours. I know that's slow, but with 30 pounds on your back it gets pretty lame haha. Good thing for music and noise canceling headphones. Also did some work with the chainsaw and some shoveling/ raking.

I had a coffee with 3 sugars in the morning, but only drank half.

I had light vegetable minestrone soup for lunch (250 cals)

For dinner I had a chicken breast with parmesan cheese, a huge helping of steamed broccoli, and a half cup of brown rice.

Misc: about 500 calories in unsalted almonds. Yummy protein.. also some low cal, low salt pretzel crisp things (150 cals).
 
aha. Did some digging today. That'll teach me to ... not dig. Yeah. *ow*

sorry for the back pic's .. I really was too embarrassed to start posting them because my back was nasty. I DO have them for all the dates I have my previous pictures for however. Also, since I have to take the back photo's in the kitchen which is usually the messiest part of the house, and having a 2 year old doesn't help, haha. Anyways, here they are.

Sweated my butt off at work today, lots of digging.

So.. an old friend of mine from middle school contacted me on facebook after he heard I lost 68 pounds. Me and him met up today and got to catch up, and yeah.. cool I got a friend! lol. ALSO ... :D me and him went to the gym today. I did 5 minutes on the treadmill at 8 MPH to work up a sweat when I got there. I did 5 sets of 8-10 (depending on how much I was struggling) of 140 pounds on the bench press. I did 2 sets of 20 on two different machines that both worked my thighs, 150 pounds on those. 5 sets of 10 chest fly's (110 pounds). 10 incline sit-ups. 3 sets of 10 inclined bench 2x 35lb weights. 2 sets of 20 (90 pound weighted) crunch machine thing. 3 sets of 10 uhh... (those things where u hold your own body up and lift your knees to your chest) yeah. those. Finished with 15 minutes of HIIT on the elliptical.. I spent about 10 minutes in the steam room after that, and then went for a dip in the pool for like 1 minute to cool off.

I'm sore. I did a lot of chest and ab exercises, because I figure I don't want little man moobs. haha. The only downside of this is that I was at the gym a liiiiiittle too long, and my fiance was kind of upset, because she had to go to work RIGHT when I got home and she didn't get to see me.. sigh. oh well. white people problems.

coffee with 3 sugars in the morning (drank half), 3 packages of peaches and cream oatmeal (360 cals), orange juice (150 cals)

100% pomegranate juice (170 cals), half of a soy latte (105 cals~), chicken and wild rice soup, a sandwich on brown bread, swiss cheese, sundried tomato turkey, red/yellow peppers, onions, tomatoes, pickles, mustard, little mayo for lunch. (ate 3/4 of sandwich)

Lunch was at 12... Gym was from 6:20-8:30. I still haven't eaten. Time for dinner! BRB

Lots of physical activity and sweating today. You don't need to know why.

Woke up late and I ended up only having dinner today. Oh wait, I also had some orange juice in the morning. :)

a personal pizza from panago for dinner; jalapeno cheese burger (550 cals) on thin multigrain crust.

No appetite. I think we're going to IHOP for breakfast tomorrow.. hehe.
 
Went for a walk to the mall today with my fiance and daughter. We were out for about 3 hours, we walked there and back and let Lily ride her tricycle. :) My fiance made a point when we got home that she didn't get winded walking back from the mall (uphill), which is a good change haha (She is down almost 25 pounds now (198-175)) but still won't make a diary. I weighed in at 185 this morning.

When we were at the mall we had IHOP. I had 2 eggs (scrambled), 2 pieces of turkey bacon, 2 pork sausages, and a fresh fruit crepe with oats, strawberry yogurt, bananas, cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple. Also 2 cups of black coffee..

Chile for dinner (425 cals)

misc: I had a "low cal" choice from orange julius as well. A medium Pineapple berry delight smoothy (under 250 cals it said), but I added a scoop of protein, so IDK what the calories where at after that. Yummy, nonetheless.

Also while I was at the mall I bought some protein powder, because I would like to keep my muscle as I lose my fat, and I have definitely started noticing a loss in strength. I bought 5 pounds of some chocolate peanut butter cup whey protein. 135 calories per 35 gram serving and 21 grams of protein. :D I had 1 200mL glass of milk with a scoop of that when I got home.. Oh man it's delicious. :D

I forgot to write what I ate yesterday, oops :( ..and I forgot what it what that I ate! haha! I know I atleast had 3 protein drinks, and I know I ate healthy. :)

Annnnyways.. Today I did a lot of tilling flower beds and hedging. Not sore, but physical labour, nonetheless.

Hmm, I'm not sure if this is appropriate, or even related, but I feel I should come clean about this. Lol.. here goes.. I am a very avid MMJ smoker. Like.. ALOT. I go through 3 ounces a month because of my anxiety and depression and stuff... I really don't know if this has anything to do with my weight loss success, but I felt I should be honest and at least share with my readers... I get no munchies most of the time, strangely. I just fall asleep ;)

I felt antsy when I got home from work today so I actually took my Ipod and went for a run! I ran about 2 miles, took about 20 minutes. It was an uphill run at the start, but then I turned around at a dead end, then I got a breezy downhill run :) I felt amazing when I got home.

I had a coffee with 3 sugars in the morning, and some orange juice.

a chipotle turkey panini on multigrain bread from Tim Horton's for lunch.

For dinner I had some parmesan crusted chicken breast pieces (sort of like home-made nuggets?), a cup of brown rice and some yellow string beans.

Sorry for not posting too often.. Just not really worried about keeping this updated to be honest haha. Not with my food atleast, it is getting pretty tedious. Still going to keep this updated with pictures though. I'm not stopping until I'm ripped to bits :D . Going to get a professional photo shoot when I am done.

Yeah haha. I had to speak to some people but I now have a plan. 20 pounds to lose in 10 weeks (2 lbs a week) until I'm 155. That should get me pretty decent looking for the summer. I guess I need to cut some cardio haha.

Here's hoping things go as planned and I'm 171 on the 15th, 167 on the 27th, etc etc. Should be 155 by June 15.

Now the waiting game.
 
awesome stuff im sure you can do it! summer is my motivation too, well next summer since ours has just ended lol maybe ill even be wearing a bikini by then (HA not!!)

Going great so far :) 173 pounds right now, trying to ease into 171 by the 15th. Shouldn't be too hard, except my buddy just invited me to a midnight meal at Denny's.
Hooray for chicken avacado sandwich with mixed vegetables on the side! Just because I'm dieting doesn't mean I can't be social, right? :p

I'm positive you'll be in a bikini by next summer, Kiwi. You have made some amazing progress, in such a short time too. :)

On a side note. I have a sinking feeling I'm going to hit 155 and still look the exact same.. that's how I feel it went from 195-175. Bleh..

Still going strong, I guess this is just turning out to be a waiting game. I'm never going to stop with this lifestyle so I guess my body I want is going to come, I just have to be patient. Summer is only 2 months away and it seems like it's too good to be true. I can't wait :)

Aw thanks :). I still think I look terrible, but I've been told otherwise so many times now. Sooo weird to think that I was over 250 this time last year, messes with my self image.

I'm sitting between 163-165 pounds at the moment, and have been for about 2 weeks. My body is still slowly changing even thoughy weight is staying the same. I'll have some progress pictures on the 15th, and ill probably be a bit more tan haha.

I just wanted you all to know that just because I have been neglecting my diary, does not mean I have been neglecting my body!

I totally get what you mean, i still look in the mirror sometimes and see that fat girl that i was 20 odd kgs ago lol! i think its because my brain hasnt quite caught up to my body yet.
but you are doing great, even if you cant see it your self =)
