Wendola's Diary!

Where are you lately? You've been hit and miss. How's the working out coming along? You sticking to your plans? Need extra motivation?

Good luck!!!!!!!!

It's been a long time since the last time I posted here, but I'm glad to say that I am almost at my goal weight!!!!!!!!!!

When went MIA back on september, 2007 it was because (yeah, you guessed it!!) I lost motivation, stopped excersising and went right back to eating like a pig. The eight pounts I lost over July-August 2007 came right back to me (plus 4 more, of course) By January, 2008 I was 158 lbs.... I was disgusted by my reflection in the mirror, I wanted to take control (for the god-knows-what-th time). And so I did, I joined the gym (again), I started eating healthy (again), I hired a personal trainer and I said this was my skinny year and that if I didn't lose the weight in 2008 then I was a failure.

Well 10 months and 41 lbs. later, I am a record 117 lbs, just 7 lbs away from my goal weight!!!!!!!! I feel great, I look good and I know it. It the most liberating experience in the world. Losing weight is hard but the reward is just so awesome it's insane!!!

Check out !!! I'm actually 6 lbs lighter than I was on that last picture and they really do show a lot. I'll take more pictures when I reach my goal (hopefully by Christmas)

IF I DID IT EVERYONE CAN!!!!!!

I know I said it already in your other post but amazing girl, and I say the same thing, I cant get to January being overweight so that is my long term goal! thanks for the motivation

Glad to see you here too!! Can I ask how much you weight now and what your goal is??

thanks, I currently weight 171 and I my current goal is 150 but maybe more I'm not happy at 150

Well my heaviest was 158 and I can assure you that I was not happy at all at 150. But then again I'm very short (only 5'1"), maybe you're taller and look good at 150, I know people that do. But it depends also on why that's your goal though. In my case I didn't want to just lose some weight. I wanted to actually be skinny. But wow, you have lost so much weight. That's amazing!! I bet you look like a different person. Can I ask how long it has taken you to lose all those pounds?

I'm 5'7 and I was 150 before and I wasnt extremely skinny but looked good at that weight so we'll see because that was over 6 years ago.
I has taken about 1 year 8 months, I gained a lot with my pregnancy and was already overweight but I'm below my pre-prego weight already by a few lbs.
I also want to tone specially my arms and belly so let's keep in touch :)

Look at you!!!! You look amazing in your pics!! I'm jealous... :D

I am so happy to see you back on here. Don't be a stranger!!!!

Oh, and thanks so much for the birthday wishes!

Do you workout?? Because I tell you, I wouldn't have been able to do any of this if I didn't have the gym and my trainer.

Hey Wendy! I log on here every now and again.... I used to be an advid user of the forum and lost weight, then would stop, get busy and loose motivation. I logged on this morning and tried to get some inspiration by looking at the before and after thread, and there you were!

I think I have found my inspiration :)

Way to go Wendy.... Welp I am off to start (another) brand new diary, take some before pictures, and begin to treat my body right, for good this time. The back and forths get so tiring, especially when this is something that we have control over.

Thanks for your help!!!

Heidi

hiya wendy, congrats on the weight loss! you know you've said that you've tried to lose weight a few times and finally succeeded this time .. do you think it was because of your trainer? do you think without one, could you have done it? i'm not sure if i should invest in a trainer too .. but if order to look as great as you, i just might!

I would have never done what I've done without my trainer. He's literally the best thing that has ever happened to me. Definitely invest in a trainer.

Wendy, what are some of your favorite exersices? In the town I live in whe just have an YMCA, no trainers available. The classes are usually jam packed full. When I go to the Y, I stay with the basic machines, eliptical, treadmill... any ideas that you enjoy that we could try?

Hey Wendy, I find so much inspiration in your whole story!! Can you post some more pics of your current size? The last pic of you, you were 123lbs and you looked real skinny so I can't imagine what you look like at 115!! Anyway, it's just refreshing to read your diary and see how you struggled and then caught yourself. Can't wait to be where you are now
