I really am feeling like crap right now! I have a horrible cough too.. ugh.. anyways we are currently iced in right now! and electricity just came back on..

I wasn't able to weigh in this morning in the dark my rooms in the basement and there are no windows so you can think what that was like.. I keep running into things trying to get upstairs..lol But I'll get my weight tomorrow hopefully

I stayed up half the night studying for a test went to bed at 5am and got up at 7am checked my schools website to see if school was closed and it was! Then all the lights went out like 2 mins later.. lol So I didn't have my test and I'm sure I'll be having that Thursday.. but that just means I have more time to study!

We went outside for while today ans sat on the porch and listened to all the trees breaking and falling it was a little creepy sounded like guns at first lol.. I hope it doesn't do much more though bc I need to work and I don't think I'll be able to get out in the morning but I hate calling in but I live on a really steep hill.. thats what I get for living in the country I guess..

Anyways thats it for now I might be back on later..
 
Well at least if your kinda sick you got another day to study for your test. What was the test in? I am taking two classes on wed. nights this spring. These are my last two! ...forever! Damn Im like a 21st grader

Hello all sorry I've been absent all week but I haven't had electricity! It came back on Tuesday night and while I was on here posting it went off again! I didn't come back on until Saturday night! And the phone finally started working again today!! Since I have dail up first chance I've been able to get online.. We weren't able to leave our house until Friday bc of ice, downed trees, being flooded in and such.

That 5 days without lights, hot showers, heat, the list goes on! I didn't eat healthy all week either.. but I didn't have much of a choice no heat to cook.. lots of peanut butter sandwiches and cold spagetti o's.. and other junk food.. feel horrible tho! Tuesday and Wednesday I ate right bc the cold food was still good.. mostly turkey sandwiches and cereal but thurs, fri, and sat wasn't good.. And a lot of the groceries I bought are bad now :( And I didn't work this week bc I couldnt get out so I'm just gonna have to make whats around the house work!

I haven't weighed for 2 weeks so I'm horribly scared to get back on the scale!! Bc I know I had a gain last week and I'm sure I had a gain this week.. SCARY!! but as long as the inches haven't gone up too much I'll be happy!! And just have to kick it back in gear this week!!

Exercise for the past week.. I have been really active outside this week! I did write down activities for the week in a journal but didn't write the food I didn't want to remember it!!

So exercise:

Wed:

1 hour walk down and up a huge hill outside bc we wanted to see the damage on our road and walked to the bottom of our one lane road and found out we were flooded in!!
1 hour sledding.. half walking up hills so I figured at least 40 mins walking up hill

Thurs:

1 hour sledding.... 40 mins walking

Fri:

15 min walk
1 hour sledding 40 mins walking
30 min snowball fight

Sat:

1 hour sledding 40 mins walking

Sun:

2 hours outside breaking ice and shoveling snow... I'm still sore from that!!!! and bruised..lol
30 mins sledding maybe 20 mins walking?
30 mins snowball fight

Monday:

1 hour pilates


So lots of activity and I think it counts as exercise.. I've had muscle hurt this week that haven't hurt in a long time.. lol


Today was the first day I was able to get back to school and its been cancelled until today and I finally have my first tomorrow and I'm really nervous about it but its been postponed all week!!

Anyways this post it really long but had to catch up!! Anyways thats it for now..

I'm in nursing school so its a nursing course.. what are you majoring in?? and I know I don't remember what grade I'm in anymore.. lol



And I'm finally feeling better!! I still have a nasty cough but the congestion is gone for the most part.. Thanks everyone!!!

Well I didn't get my weight in this morning.. I overslept and had to ran out the door bc it was snowing it took my 45 mins to get to town when it usually take 15.. it was nasty out.. and when school let out the rds were out in town so I decided to drive home but the roads haven't been cleaned at my house and I live on a little country rd with a REALLY BIG HILL.. so I wasn't able to make it up luckily my uncle was coming down the hill and told me not to go up bc they were still covered in snowed and packed down and was really slick.. so I had to go ask a neighbor at the bottom of the hill if I could park at his house so my uncle could take me up in his truck and he was still sliding in 4 wheel drive.. I'M SICK OF SNOW NOW!! I haven't been able to make it my jobs in week now!! One doesn't have electricity so it's not even open but still I'M BROKE!!! I want the snow to leave!! ugh


Anyways on a good note.. I think I did pretty good on my test today.. at least I think but when I think I did good I don't.. ugh.. but I'll find out Thursday!!

Eating has been good today and I had 45 mins on tai chi.. thats all the exercise I'm doing today my arms are still sore for breaking ice sunday.. lol

anyways thats it for now

Good luck in nursing school.
I am finnishing my doctorate in educational administration. I take my comprehensive exams in 3 weeks. I was studying when I had to have a break so I popped in here.
I say go ahead and weigh in and if you gain just use that to put you back on track.
 
That was a lot of activity and you adapted and did what you could do and that is what matters and what will get you to goal and continue trucking along:)

I count sledding as exercise when I go with my kids, you walk there throu snow and then up and down the hill non stop and walk back...It is a work out...

Sorry about everything but glad you are back posting:):):)You were missed!!!

Well had my weigh in this morning finally after 2 weeks and it wasn't good!! I gained 5lbs in the last 2 weeks!! Scary!! I knew I was up 2 or 3 lbs last week before the snow bc I was weighing during the week and I was uping my calories so I'm assuming thats why... and the past week was less then ideal with the things I had to eat.. and TOM is visiting so that could a lb or so of it.. I hope.. lol I usually go up a lb or 2 during it but I have still been active so I don't feel horrible.. I mean this is a lifestyle change so it's going to take time to get it off.

But good news I DIDN'T gain any inches back!!! I'm actually down a half of a inches on my neck! So in total that 17.5 inches lost!!

I couldn't make it to work today :( gosh I'm broke it sucks!! It's still snowing and my car is still at my neighbor's house like a mile away.. But good news it's supposed to warm up this weekend so I'm excited about that..

Anyways I need to kick it up this week and try to get that 5 lbs back off as soon as I can!!

I wish it was in the 50's here lol actually I wish it was anything above freezing so that snow stop.. lol and that awesome about your doctorate.. I dream for the day that I wish my bacholers lol but it will come soon in a couple years.. lol

Thanks Relly.. you always lift up my spirits!! Bad couple of weeks.. I need to figure out how many calories my body needs but for now I think I'm just gonna keep eating healthy and see what happens.. and I know sledding is a workout... but your constantly walking back up the hills lol

Figuring out the dynamics can be hard ive been at this for awhile...im still tryin to figure it out...

I say just eat healthy lots of fruit and veg and smaller amounts of everythign else, tha tseems to work for me for the most part...
 
Hello all... well eating was good today and did 45 mins of tai chi.. I'm having trouble getting my level of exercise restarted after not doing the same stuff for a week.. and I've been so busy with homework and studying I don't feel like I've had enough time in a day.. this weekend I'm be studying my ass off bc I have a test Monday and Tuesday and Thursday and 10 min presentation on Thursday but I'll make time to exercise..


Oh and good news I got a B on my pharmacology test!! YAY I was happy!!

I soooo feel your pain. Me too, but dont quit the exercise, It will so energise your study. Gets the blood pumpin to your brain!

Yea I'm definitely not gonna stop exercising bc I can't study all day anyways my brain will need a break.. I'm trying to get my exercise bumped back up but having trouble getting off my butt to do it.. lol But I'll be doing something today for sure!

Exercise while you study =D [okay so that only works when you have a treadmill and can keep up concentration in reading at a higher speed but it sure does make time pass while cramming in knowledge!!]

LOL I may try that.. but I have trouble with focusing and never thought I could but trying wouldn't hurt lol
