We are what we repeatedly do...

We want an xbox but we only have a wii - lol games console greedy!

Yeah my sitting room is TINY and half of it has a slopped roof, plus we're living upstairs from other people and I'm always a little dubious about doing anything that involved jumping around etc. Maybe I should just say to hell with it and give my neighbours something to complain about though lol.

I used to spend a lot of time in Leeds as my ex boyfriend was from Wakefield. I even applied for uni there 'cause I liked the city so much but they rejected me - I've held a grudge ever since haha joking :)

Lol Leeds Uni is notoriously difficult to get into! I got in completely by chance really. But originally me and my friend didn't get in because of a lack of places/funding.
So many people apply there!
I love Leeds so much :) I don't think I'll ever really move away. I'm just outside of the city centre at the moment and it's great. Would be even better without the hill but you can't have it both ways :p

The small room and sloped ceiling might make the kinect a bit difficult but go for it with the wii ones! There isn't too much jumping and as long as you don't do it at stupid o clock at night they can't complain!

LOL. Leeds is immense, I loved every second of it and can't wait to go back. I could easily settle there.

I totally get what you mean about jumping around when you live above people. It is a bit out of order isn't it? Just do what you can at home, use 2ltr water bottles as weights etc...lol. Crack on love! Hahahahaha x

Before I bought my hand weights Pip, I was using 2 big cans of baked beans!!! The kids had a great laugh at me!!!

Holly, I'll be back all the time :)

Thankfully I have actual weights to jump around with ;)

Lunch: ham salad sub sandwich and some chocolate (520kcal)
Dinner: chicken goan curry, white rice and a low fat yoghurt (780kcal)
Snack: Tea and a kitkat (140kcal)
Total: 1590

I need to cut back on my chocolate! Hopefully my calories will be lower tomorrow.

In other news, I'm back to 12 stone 7lbs! Yay!

Thanks for the tip val, I'll check it out.

Snack: malteasers (190kcal)
Dinner: extra lean mince bolognaise with wholewheat pasta + low fat yogurt (620kcal)

Just a quick one to say: Yay 12 stone 6 lbs! I should be below 12 stone by Xmas.... then it's just a matter of staying there over Xmas!

1. I love that you list both your healthy weight goal and your vanity weight goal. Kudos for honesty, girl!
2. I don't think that 40 pounds in 21 weeks is unrealistic for everybody... (I lost almost 70 pounds in 20 weeks) but obviously the bigger you are, the more you have to lose. I have a feeling my weight loss is about to plateau some; not looking forward to that!

Congratulations on your loss so far; absolute best of luck to you in the future!

Thanks Jess and Pip :D

SoCo - I'm not sure if I'm going to reach my original target of 11 stone by Xmas given that I've still got 20lbs to lose. I can probably only lose half of that at best. It's cause I got derailed for a few weeks in October/November but I'm still happy with what I've lost thus far.

Anyway food for today:
Breakfast: 2 wheat biscuits with semi skimmed milk (155kcal)
Lunch: Thai prawn soup with veggies (260kcal) & raspberries with greek yogurt and honey (84kcal)
Snack: Mint echo (130kcal)
Dinner: Shepard's pie and peas (650kcal)
Snack2: more chocolate! 1 rocky bar and 1 kitkat (209kcal)
Total: 1489 kcal so far

I am a giant among women, it is true. *towers over everyone*

Still though, I'm aiming to catch you up and then we can be weight loss buddies! I'm still loitering around 12stone 11lb. 13 is getting TOOOO close!

Lol you're a giant to my boyfriend too :p
It's a good job I'm shortish!!

Great on being down some more, and you'll definitely reach 12 by xmas :)

Don't forget, christmas dinner is actually really healthy usually. Potatoes, loads of veg and turkey/chicken/whatever you decide to have is a really good basis for your meal, then it's just a case of watching out for pigs in blankets and stuffing!! (is stuffing bad? hmmm)

Sunflower - I'm looking forward to you joining me in the glories of under 12st7lbs! I just hope I stick around here and don't go back up.

Red - Aw but I love pigs in blankets! When else do I have an excuse to eat pig wrapped in more pig?

You're right, Xmas dinner isn't actually that bad. For me it's the time off and staying at other people's houses that ruins my efforts. And all the lying around all day watching telly and eating chocolate - that doesn't help either. Ha.

I've only got two weeks off this Xmas so I shouldn't go too off track! Fingers crossed!

mmm, pigs wrapped in more pigs. Sounds like that sandwich KFC started doing where instead of bread buns it's two bits of fried chicken. With another bit of fried chicken in the middle.

mmm, calories.

Mmm animal wrapped in more animal. A dieter's paradise.

I was a vegan for a few months once (it was kinda just for the craic) and look at me now, ha!

Great job on the loss and getting back to it! I'm so jealous you have two weeks off at Christmas - I get 2 days!! But it's my own fault because I used up all my holidays in the summer. I would think you could get lots of exercise in with two weeks off!!! Keep it up Holly!
