I am glad I am not the only one "working"!!! I am planning to try running, I will be downloading music this weekend I need some Idea for upbeat want to make you run music, so what are your favorite workout tunes?????

Hello all and welcome to another week!!!! Let's make this one a good one!!!:hurray: That was the coffee talking lol! Ok so I didn't really count my points this weekend, but I ate healthy, except for friday night I had a vegi burger but no fries with a salad so not too bad! I am confident that I remained with in my point I went to visit my parents on saturday my mom hadn't seen the kids in like 2 weeks so we went over and I did my workout there ...my dad has a treadmill so I tried running I did 20 over all on the thread mill I walk at 2.0 for a about 2 min then up to 3.0 after 5 min I pressed the high speed button for 30 sec then went back to 3.0 after another 5 min I did another 30 sec at high speed back to 3.0 then high speed for 45 sec and 3 min at 3.0 and two at 2.0 for strenght trainning I played with my kids lifting them and up and down so those where 22lb and 40lb weight for about 30 min I was exausted but it was fun!!!! Sunday I just did quiet stuff at home no workouts, we have entered out daughter in a school prep program and we have to do activites like coloring, and cut out shapes so we worked on that I ate healthy enought. I am very proud of myself this weekend as I had predicted TOM is here and I resisted most of my cravings whe I wanted salty I ate nuts so that is far better then chips and I ate like 30 salted cashews and then some plain almonds enought to fill 1 cup Whoo hoo me!

Today so far:

WW frozen dinner Santa fee rice 6PTS

15PTS wich leaves me with 9Points for diner hopefully the chicken pot pie fits into that!


I will walk 30 min everyday at lunch time!!
I will go running outside if it rains I will do the skipping rope instead (attempt running with walking intervals) at least 3 days this week (monday, Wednesday, Thursday) could be more we will see how much time I have. I will do abs workout on a daily bases and along with arms or leg workout
and as usuall 88OZ of water daily!!!
 
Well just look at you go! You are sticking with your plan, and exercising like a fiend as well. :hurray: Keep up the good work!

Hello!!!! I am in such a good mood today, the sun is shinning and today is supposed to be warm, spring is in the air!!!! Yesterday I went on a run/walk
I will have to mesure the distance I did with my car tonight! I really enjoyed it and then I did my usuall abs workout and also arms workout!

Today so far

Breakfast
12 Grain Bagel toasted with butter (1tsp) 6PTS
coffee 2PTS
Snack
Green tea 0PTS
Lunch
WW Chiken terriaky 4PTS
1 grape fruit 2PTS
Snack
Green tea 0PTS
kashi dark chocolat bar 2PTS
Diner
Salad with legumes and 2tbs of dressing 5PTS
wich makes 21PTS wich will leave me with enough point for a snack for after my workout yogourt probably!

I plan on walking at lunch
Drinking 88OZ of water
today is abs and leg workout
maybe try to go run cause it is so nice outside!

I will update as the days goes on!!!! If you have good leg workout that I can do with no equipment let me know (I have an exercise ball, skipping rope, resistant band and two 8lb dumbells)

Hey Veronique! happy Tuesday! Nice work on the walk/run last night! I bet it felt great and so much so your still feeling it today! The weather is getting nice here too and I just love it!

If you have good leg workout that I can do with no equipment let me know (I have an exercise ball, skipping rope, resistant band and two 8lb dumbells)

Lunges, dips and squats. And you can hold the dumbells on your shoulders to add weight while you to do them, or do curls to work your arms at the same time. (curl up as you stand)

To make the squats harder, stand with your legs together with the weights on your shoulders. Step with one leg to the side and squat. Come halfway up, pause, then squat down again. Stand up fully while bringing your legs back together. Do 10 (or whatever number works for you) and switch legs.

Or you can stand with your feet at hip distance. Lift one heal so you are just on the toes of that leg and do a set of squats. Repeat with the other leg.

You can also do the down, up half way, down, up fully method with dips and lunges as well. These are all on my exercise DVDs and they kill my thighs. lol

Just reading these my legs are killing me lol!!!! I am going to give those a try tonight, and will update how it went if I can still walk in the morning! lol
 
:rofl: They are killer! But I hope they help. I know those DVD's work my legs hard. I've been at it for about two months and there are still times when my thighs kill me the next day. You'll feel them burning, trust me.

Good afternoon and happy St Patties day To all!!!!
Ok so yesterday life happened so no workout, I didn't even get to eat diner till 8pm, by then I was in such a bad mood and so hungry I wanted to eat everything in sight. I didn't I stuck to my plan of eating my salade with mixed beans with 2tbsp of dressing, with half a cheese sandwich (the crappy orange sliced processed one) and a small orange so I went over my point by 1 or 2 pts, but since it was with good quality food (with exeption to the cheese) so I don't mind. So today is a new day and I will forget the no exercise let's just say that yesterday was my day off. I went walking at lunch time and since my walking partner was sick I got to walk faster and was able to get to the river I love spring!!!!!! Soon I will get to see the swans and the ducks. I was a bit nervous about going off alone on the bike paths but at lunch times there are so many people there it should be safe enough!

Chiken chilli (homade) about 6-7 PTS for 2 cups
1 slice of whole grain bread 2PTS
For a total of 24PTS
so no snack tonight!!

I am hoping to get a good workout tonight, I am hoping life will let me have 1hrs to myself!!!! I drank about 66oz of water today so I am gonna drink at least 88oz. Got to get back to work (for real this time!!)

Hello and Good Morning!!!

Last night I didn't actually get what I call a real workout but the hubby and I took the kids to the park so we walk there about 15 min pulling a wagon with both kids in (around 60lb) and then at the park my son fell in love with the slide so I went up the ladder carying him like 20 times, then I had my hubby and kids sitting on the carrousel and I would run around will pulling it so I still moved and my leg and arms are feeling it. Last night I stuck to my eating plan staying in with in my point range. I am hoping to see a difference on the scale. I am noticing a trend when my hubby is home I never get the time for workouts or my house is never clean it's full of freaking toys! I hope to get a good one in tonight I really need to start seing results, I am starting to feel that loosing weight with a familly is impossible, for me, Last time was so much easyer I could go to the gym and I know you don't actually need a gym membership to loose the weight.......that was my me time, when you are at the gym the phone doesn't interup you, you don't have laundry staring at you, no one eating junk food in your face, I need to find a solution cause I feel like giving up, I make plans and my kids and husband are just there to block my chances of succeding, they don't want healthy foods. They want all of my time, I want 1 hour a day just for me, to get myself healthy is that really to much to ask? I am so sick of my husband complaining about being tired all the time, he always complaining about how hard he works and looks at me like I do nothing because I work in an office. I have to get up almost at the same time as him to get two kids ready and now to top it off he isn't even taking the dog out in the morning, no he is too tired and doesn't want to get up earlier. I am starting to see him at a week breakable person and I am annoyed, every minot set back he crumbles, amd all falls down on my shoulders i am getting to the point where he wil have to man up. Ok ok Rant over

So I don't know that I will actually go out to walk at lunch time because it is startin too look like rain. I wheather permits I will be going for a walk.
Tonight I have to work out even if it meant waiting at 12 am when everyone is finnally sleeping i should go to bed at 8 wake up at 12 am and workout go back to bed till 5. Maybe that is what would make this work for me I don't know. I will weight myself in the morning.

Don't sell yourself short. Running around after kids is definatly a workout! Especially if you can feel it in your arms and legs.

It's too bad your hubby isn't being more helpful. I think people who don't work in an office don't realize that it can be very tiring as well. Sitting at a desk working all day isn't like lounging on the couch. Have you tried talking to your hubby about watching the kids so you have some time to get your workout in? Or maybe you could get a gym membership again and either have your hubby watch the kids or sometimes they have on site daycare? I just get up eariler before anyone is up (more because I don't like anyone to see me then any other reason), but I know that doesn't work for everyone.

My hubby says he will watch the kids but next thing I know he is asleep on the couch and when he sleeps nothing wakes him up. As for the gym financially at the moment it is not something I can do. I can't do the work out in the morning I am already up at 5 am just to get myself and the kids ready to leave the house at 6:30 at the latest so no way I am getting up at 4 lol. I need my beauty sleep :smilielol5: I will have to figure a way to get my daughter to sleep well again! Also kicking the hubby out for an hour lol
