Ok so I apologies to annyone who had to read my entries last week I was so depressed a mix of frustration with myself and also lack of sleep and I hate my job, but enought of that. Turns out that even with all the junk I hate last week I lost about 1 pound so as of last friday I was 185.3lb I really don't get it but I will acept it and try to make a big effort because I am so close to having lostmy first 10lb I just can't give up 3 more lb and I made it to my first milestone :hurray:

So today

I drank about 64 to 72 oz of water I lost count.

So I am still feeling good today. Yesterday no workout no suprise there, but I stayed with in my point and I drank lots of water.

Good News Friday Feb 19 2010

Ok so let's start right off with a good news!
I weighted mysel this morning and I am at 184.3 This is where I started in November 2005 when I had joined WW. Last time I lost 22lb in 3mo but then got pregnant. This time around there is no turning back. Since Jan I have lost 8lb I was hoping to loose that in 1 month but I am happy with my progress even if it is slower then planned and I know it's slower because I hardly work out. With my next paycheck i am buying a daily planer and I have to plan everything out What I will eat and when I workout the whole thing, maybe I will buy one of those weekly thing that you stick on the wall.

I didn't write what I ate yesterday because I had my meeting with the work agency yesterday at lunch to I had a meal replacement shake on the bus on my way there. The interview went great she had a very interesting position for me with 9000 a year pay increase but unfortunatly the hour don't work with the bus I plan on taking if I have a job downtown so maybe the next one. I can't finish work at 5 pm I would only get home at like 6:30 in time to put my kids to bed. Also I kind of firgured out why I have been so depressed lately, usually when I am stressed unhappy angry I eat junk, since January i don't really have an outlet for those feelings, I have to find one, a healthy one. When I was younger I used to swim, I remember the great feeling I had after I swam my 200meter so happy relaxed and energised (*spelling???) I need to find something that would bring that feeling back, I am thinking I have to find some fitness equipment that I could use while watching tv because I am so tired of bein that depressed crasy person who cries if she can't find her daughters mitains in the morning. Who does that cry over a freaking mitain I annoy myself when I break down for stupid little things, I didn't do that before.

Ok so the weekend wasn't my worst or my best foodwise. I had a slice of Pizza on friday(I made a dressing free side salad to go along with it) and Saturday I went to visit my parents with the kids and I skiped breakfast
had pasta for lunch, chiken salad and baked fries (my mom makes the best)
I didn't take the time to exercise but my son did throw his freaking ball down the stairs 50 times almost (stoped counting after 10) I couldn't leave him at the top of the stairs so I had to carry all 22lb of him up and down the stairs so that should count as exercise right? On Sunday afternoon we where supposed to go to winterlude, I got up early fixed breakfast for the kids fed the kids, fed myself, ran up and down the stairs for laundry and I did as much cleaning as I could so that when my husband comes back from work we are all ready to leave and I have time to workout this week, but at 9 am hubby came back from work sick like a dog (when he left at 4 am he was ok). So instead of winterlude I took the kids and my mother in law to a movie. I found out I can no longer take my son to the movies (one is too old and to young, he used to sleep throught the movies now he just get impatient at not being able to move around) I had some popcorn a few hand fulls but no pop or candy so not too bad.

So far today 16 points so I should be able to have a good diner.

I saw that a bunch of you have daily goals so I am going to give that a try this week.
I want to drink 90oz of water
Exercise for at least 30 min (15 with my workout DVD and 15 abs routine.)
I am still trying to find a used stationary bike, threadmill, or eliptical machine at a reasonable price but so far it seems people want to sell there used equipement almost the same price they bought it, if i am gonna pay that much I want the warranty that goes with the equipement.

Good Morning

So last night I did work out for 30 min using an exercise ball and elastics (don't know the proper name for those they replace weights) I didn't do any cardio I did toning for my arms legs glutes and abs. I drank about 75 oz of water so not too bad. I skiped Diner I got home too late I had a muffin on the way down and then I wasn't hungry anymore. I even got to bed before 11 yay for me. I have a job interview this morning at 10 and a bit of work to do before.

Ok so I haven't bee online much in the last 5 days or so, the end of the month is my only busy time at work and I had a few job interviews in the last couple of week so I had to make up for lost time.
So Last week I ate ok ...could have been better my daugther was having a case of the terrible 3's wich stressed me wich made me turn to food ( why must this happen when my husband is working nights, when he sees me reaching for the chips he ask are you really hungry or just stressed most of the time this will work to stop me in my tracks) I am hoping this week will be better, for that I can't take another week of her screaming I am suprised the neigbour didn't call the cops yiet. I seem to stil be feeling depressed a little, I just need a new healthy way to deal with stress, exercise would work but I need some cardio equipment but it's hard to get when the money in your bank account is already spoken for. In April I will start traveling by bus wich means I have a 20 min everymorning, finaly exercise I will have to invest in a good raincoat and rain boots so I don't get sick all the time.

I am not sure of the point value i will have to check out my recepie and divise by servings, I felt like cooking yesterday so I went online looked up recepies and made them from scratch ( I usually buy store made Marinades) So that was fun.

I am happy that I watched the Canada -USA hockey game with out snacking, that took lots and lots of will power.
Today I am planning on drinking 90 OZ of water. If the weather is not to bad I plan on walking for at least 15 min at lunch time!
 
Good News! Not only did I go out and walk at lunch time I did so for 20 min!
If the nice weather keeps up my new goal is to do this everyday this week, I will try gong alone so it's more of a work out then just a walk, today I went with a co worker and she just walk slowly while smoking her cigarette thank fully the wind blew the smoke away from me. Still I did 20 of very low impact exercise tommorow I will make it 30, I could have gone longer today but would have been back to work late.

So I drank more then 90oz of water!!!! Also I did the whole 30 min Workout on my hip hop abs, after 15 min I was gonna quite but decided to push myself a little today. Next thing I knew the work out was done. Whoo hoo. I feel great I am hoping this will set the tone for my week!

Ok so yesterday I was sick, couldn't keep anything down so I didn't keep track of anything and I didn't exercise, I did drink lot of water!

Today I am feeling much better!

Ok so far I drank 44oz of water!!!!! Also I did the 30 walk at lunch time but I was craving salt so I ate salty peanuts a whole bunch of salty peanuts 90g of them :banghead:
Tonight I will have to do the DVD Workout and maybe start using My Shape that I bought for the WII I used it only once since Christmas I have to burn those 90g of peanuts. I have also added a piece of dark chocolat....that thud you just heard ....that is me falling off the wagon, but I am jumping right back on it

I'm sure you'll stay back on that wagon. ;) I think it even helps to fall off occasionally, as long as the fall is short and er, sweet. But on the whole you are doing really well, so good on you!

Last night went ok no more junk food eating (probably cause there is none in the house at the moment ;) ) I didn't my dvd or the WII "Your Shape" Instead i got stuck in traffic because they decided to close a part of the HWY
I usually get home at around 5:20 pm...Last night I got to my inlaws (wich is 20 min from my house) at 6pm, stupid contruction and I was soooo hungry and had to use the washroom (I kept drinking water so I would not be to famished) My mother in law had made stir fry (Thankgod that is the only edible thing she makes..except for the overcooked white pasta she serves with it) Since I am on a "diet" I was able to gracefully decline my portion of pasta and just ate chicken and vegies, wich where really good. She makes an effort to always have some chicken on hand since I don't eat red meat, but usually bakes it in the oven for about 20 min too long ;) she is trying lol. So I got home way past the kids bedtime they where cranky and tired so it took longer to get them in bed for the night by that time I didn't want to workout, but I did my abs routing with my exercise ball and arms and legs with the resistance bands (the elastics ) plus some push up, I can do 5 whoo hoo!
I didn't drink 90oz of water but I was farely close 88oz so I am satisfied with that.

This morning I got up and jump on the scale thinking it's friday! Until I went to write my weight on the calendar that was a disapointment, but since I am a pound down :party: I can deal with another day at the office I am now 183.4
9 pounds down 58 to go!!!!!

I will weight myself again tommorow but don't think I will see much difference.

Hi there so far today I did the 30 walking at lunch time, I have to go in circle for now but when the snow finaly goes away i will walk 15 min down a bike path and then 15 min back to the office, plus in April when I start taking the bus I will have an extra 0.7km walk every morning. I have drank close to 44Oz of water so far and didn't have a snack this morning. I am noticing that when I eat the yogourt granola fruit thing in the morning I am less hungry and I can easily last until lunch with out a snack when I have my cereal or oatmeal I am starving by 10 -10:30 so I should start eating the parfait more often there is probably more protein in there. I saw these exercise routine in the WW catalogue I that promises firmer abs in 5 weeks so I am going to give it a try see the results and while reading a journal I saw someone had the idea of skipping rope as a cardio I could just use my daughters and when the commercials come on tv I could do that so i am not tempted by all the junk food commercials. I am starting to wonder if my goal of 60lb in 8 mo is doable I am not loosing the 2lb a week I had planned on maybee I should revise so that I don't get too disapointed. I am going to think about that. I really enjoye typing this journal even if I sometimes feel I am the only one reading it, it give an out to my feelings so that I don't eat them!
 
Tonight I have something to celebrate!!!! My 3yrs old had one huge tantrum tonight one of the biggest ever, she even kick her little brother something she had never done before, I didn't back down I held my ground while she went on screaming for like 30 min. Asked the hubby for help he never moved his behind from the couch, finally my son was in bed dressed my daughter in her pj (at this point she is starting to get she is not winning) I go out to the car to get her blanky and I come back inside she is snuggled with her daddy in front of the tv watching cartoon (wich was what the tantrum was about, it was bedtime she wanted tv I said no) So i look at her and tell her to go to bed my husband says leave her alone she has been screaming for 30 min now (what does he care he can't hear it annyways) I was so pissed off all I wanted to do was dive into a back a chip and consult with Ben and Jerry. Instead I put on my boots and coat and went for a 20 min fast pace walk, something that usually takes me 45 min to do I did in 20 So Whoo Hoo:cheers2: I dealt with my imotions with something other then food!

Hello! Happy Friday!!!!

I weighted myself again this morning and as suspected same a yesterday!
I lost a pound this week and I am ok with it. Originally when starting my new lifestyle I had planned on loosing 2lb a week like I had done before! I didn't have kids then it was easier, but I am happy that the scale is moving down at a regular pace. Next week will be a tough one, my husband will be working nights on all 5 night of the week, so I will be left alone with the kids (read the cranky 3yrs old) on my own. Then again after last night is having the husband around really usefull in those moments. I am hoping that things will go back to normal and that miss cranky pants was just a very short phase.
I am happy that instead of eating junk last night I went for a fast past walk and I felt much better then I would have had I ate the junk instead, next week I will have to fight the urge to eat with out being able to go out and walk. That will not be easy, but I have to find a way cause I can't use that as an excuse to fall off the wagon every two weeks. For those of you who eat there emotions what do you do to blow off steam instead of eating???? I need all the help I can get! I welcome any idea!!!!!!

I have drank 44oz of water today so far I am aiming for another 44 so I get 88oz
I will walk 30 at lunch time it is so beautiful outside this week sunshine and less cold unless you count the wind.
I will do a cardio work out of some kind today
i kind of did an arm workout punching holes in over a 100 booklet my arms are killing me like I had been lifting weight all morning.

Hi Veronique. Well done on losing another pound. In my book any loss at all is a good loss, so you are doing a great job.

The only suggestion I have about emotional eating is to be prepared. Have some low calorie snacks already prepared, so that if you feel the need to chomp on something you have some celery and carrot sticks (or whatever) all there ready for you. Good luck with it, and I'll be thinking of you. {{hugs}}

That is a great suggestion since I usually grab the first thing I see with out thinking (usually the chips since there is no prep required) I would probably be satisfied with the crunch, my husband also bought me a can of salted mix nuts for when I crave salt (usually during that time) it's still a hight call snack but it had proteines and good fats so not empty calories like chips.
