I hear you on the cold weather too, although it's not -21! Yesterday the wind chill here was -1 though, and that was plenty cold. I'm used to cold, but we've been so spoiled lately. I'm just ready for spring.

Congrats on the weightloss! My baby boy has been teething also. Poor little mite screams for ages. Doesn't give me much time to work out, but I've been putting on the baby bjorn and taking him out walking etc - quite good exercise in itself...

Same here I am so ready for spring to be here!!!!! It was suppose to be -1 but with the wind chill it wnet down to -21 I can't wait to go running outside again. Running up and down the stairs is getting very boring.

Thank you! I am trying to match you're results!!!!! The temperature was cold it was supposed to be -1C but with the freaking wind chill, let's just say no running outside for the time being!!!!! I should go visit you every winter and come back here for summer that way no more -21 for me!!!!!!

Yes walking is great exercise!!!! I hate knowing he is in pain and not being able to do anything about it. He will be glad when he can eat with those teeth. My son is one and only has 2 teeth out and 4 that are just below the skin but won't poke trough, my daugther at that age was only missing her molars. It's a stage and nothing can be so about it!!

Good Morning!!! So Another week begins...and by the end of this week I will see 179lb on my scale. I plan to work out everynight cardio everyday and weight lifting and toning at least 3 times mabe more will see how it goes.
I have been good this weekend I did drink one pepsi but I find that I am not enjoying it as much now so that is good!!! I also ate some cookies that my daughter and I had done. That girl just loves working in the kitchen so it that keeps up in about 8years from now she can take over the cooking lol.

Same here! I sipped some of my husband's coke this weekend and I really did not like it. I'm still a fan of diet mountain dew though and have it on occasion.

Hey thank you for visiting! I think next time I want to thing fizzy I will just go for fizzy water with lemon in it, I don't want to touch anything with aspertame or artificial sweetner lol I don't care for the taste I even stop chewing gum because it contained it. When I stopped eating the yogourt with aspertame I saw a reduction in the amounts of migrains I had could be coinsidence. I am no DR. I mostly don't enjoy the taste lol.
 
Your eating looks very good! I wish I could snack on tea like you! But I'm more of a coffee person. Anyway, keep up the good work! :)

Happy tuesday !

So last night I did exercise for like 20 min, I had to run up and down the stairs because it was looking like rain and I didn't want to go run outside alone at 9:30 pm. I did the stair thing twice for like 2 min and wow I tought my legs would fall off! then I did mostly abs stuff only a little arm workoutI just wasn't into it, it was late I wanted to go to sleep. I got home yesterday at 5:30 get inside and it was sooooo quiet, I start looking for everyone and I find my hubby in bed sleeping. (which means, he was tired when he got home didn't set his alarm right and didn't make diner or picked up the kids):smash: So I start looking for my phone (damn those cordless phones)call my mother in law who lives 2 mins away from the sitter and ask her to pick up the kids beause it takes me a good 15 to 20 min to get there myself so I ended up eating two slices of Pizza for diner. By the time I got the kids to bed and some laundry done it was late and I wanted nothing to do with working out but I didn't want to skip the whole day so I did some workout. I am starting to think that the only way I will get a good workout is by getting up at 4 am :cuss: But I am so not a morning person I like my bed. But when I don't work out I get bitchy now that I don't do the emotional eating I don't really have a stress outlet! We will see how I can fit that in. I don't have a lunch today so I have no clue what I will eat but I want it to be healthy and low point.

All my life I have never kept a Journal for more then a week so I am very proud of myself for keeping this one it keeps me in line food wise I will update my points for the day after lunch !
Today I have to do a major workout (should be easy since I will be watching biggest loser and I feel guilty watching it sitting on the couch)
and I will either run outside before or do the stair thing during the comercials.
I have already drank 22 ox of water today!!! I plan to drink at least 88oz.....Is there such a thing as drinking too much water???? I hope not I have been drinking a lot these last few weeks

I must admit I am more of a Coffee person myself, but since the stuff here at work tastes like hospital grade coffee drinking tea is so easy, on weekends I tend to drink more coffee but since I am running after two kids all day it works out good!!! Thanks for stopping by
 
Isn't it funny how quickly a person can go from no exercise at all to feeling bad if you skip a day? Good for you for getting some workout in even if you couldn't go outside! And watching the Biggest Loser always makes me feel like I should be exercising too. I feel like a slug to just sit there and watch it. lol

Actually, yes, there is such a thing as drinking too much water. It's called water intoxication. But, it's very, very rare. A brief google search told me that healthy adult kidneys can handle fifteen liters of water daily (!), so long as you spread that out throughout the day. Water intoxication typically happens in young babies that are given too much straight water and in athletes who get dehydrated then try to rehydrate too fast (as in gulping a huge amount of water in a very short time). I don't think you have to worry unless you plan to drink that 88oz in a 10 minute time span or something.

The only I don't like about it is getting up in the night to pee - I just hate that so I try to slow down the water after 8pm.
I would have been so frustrated yesterday and ate the whole house and not worked out so good for you for only having two pieces of pizza and still getting in a work out! Your doing great - I know your getting frustrated with not having the time to work out but I think even 20 minutes a day counts and you are still getting more on other days! Every little bit counts and adds up! I work out more but when I'm not working out I'm sitting on my butt not chasing after kids or doing nearly as much cleaning and all those stairs add up too!! Give yourself more credit!

4 months ago I never thought I would get used to working out so fast. Whe I lived in the city about 8 years ago I used to be at the gym everyday I love it too bad I was eating so much junk food, and never got the result I should have had....and now that I have the food thing down (most of the time) I don't have the time to work out as much as I should and I am not seing the results like I want them too, I am getting so impatient !!! So I guess that is why I am bitchy when I don't get my work outs.

Lol I hear you about not wanting to wake up in the middle of the night to go pee, in my case since my daughter wakes up about once a night to go to the washroom and wakes me up because she can't turn on the light I figure I may as well go too since I am up and all lol! Yesterday I drank like 110oz of water I couldn't beleive it it was spread out evenly over the day so I don't think I have to worry.

I tend to be hard on myself because I want to see results faster, I know I have to be very patient but I am not, I guess my inner spoil brats want results now lol! Thankyou for giving making me notice stuff like that.
 
Just caught up on your diary today and I think you have made awesome progress. You have made some definite lifestyle changes and I know how hard it can be to find the time when you have little ones to take care of and no one to really pitch in.

I am with you on wanting to throw a fit over not seeing results fast enough. Maybe we could stomp our feet together? lol Keep up the great work I would love to be where you are now.

Good Morning!

I did go out running last night and it was great! It took me 25 min to do the 2km......a couple weeks ago it took 30 min so I can see some improvement, I can also run a bit longer but I still walk most of the 2km, I would need a running partner to help me push myself I beleive I can do better. I am planning to go running again tonight the weather is gorgeous. In addition to the run I also did my regular arm abs and leg workout (for the legs I most did some streches because they where so stif after the run) I didn't really end up counting my point yesterday but I am certain I went over, at lunch I went to the little sandwich place at the train station and the only chicken they had was fried.......I don't eat other meats especially the process sandwich ones and the vegetarian as no protein so I need something with protein, I did fight temptation because two guys where eating poutine I love that stuff and I was very tempted to buy that but since there is no nutricious value to that I said NO. That is a small victory onto itself. Today I came to work with a lunch so since I am prepared I will not go over my point value!

( I have to buy some apple sauce cause these a so dry)

Suposed to be vegi taco salad or 5bean salad ( I am trying to incorporate more vegetarian dishes I am kind of getting tired of chicken all the time and I don't eat red meat or pork so Bring on the Tofu, and legumes!!!)16 points but I we can add like 7 points to that cause I snacked like crazy this afternoon, 1 curve bar, 1 kashi bar, 1 cup of kashie cereal the point value for those are 1, 2 and 4 points,,,,,that is what I do to stay awake when I am bored, and stuck at my desk (who I also call my prison, or the fish bowl cause I am surounded on two sides with glass)16+7 = 23 which leaves me with one point for diner lol I guess I am going over once again, I am destroying any chance of a loss this week opfully i will not gain...so much for seing the 170's this week :(

I will go walk at lunch time it supposed to go up to 15
and I will drink 100 oz of water today already had 22oz
I have to do another big workout and push myself more. I have such a hard time working out in front of my husband I hate it he just sits and watch that is so annoying! I wish he would just go use the pc or join me lol act as a personal trainer or something. lol!

LOL no men in my house to work out in front of, but I totally understand. My boys laugh at me every time I exercise, but then they join in so it is all good.

I am so jealous of you being able to run like that, I would love to be able to. You are doing wonderful and I am sure you will have your points back on track today. Have a great run tonight an keep going strong!
