Nice work on the scale Veronique! That's too bad about your Wii not working. I remember a while ago you were going out for walks at night if your husband was home and starting to run a bit - any thoughts of going back to that. What about trying a new workout dvd? I think most of them are pretty inexpensive. Anyway you are still dropping the pounds so that is great! Keep it up and have a great weekend!

I am going to start walking again until winter anyways and then we will see if money is ok mabe buy a bike or threadmill so I can work out inside when it's too cold! I get bored with dvd's I have a few here and just don't want to do them.....I am glad the loss is starting again :) I love love your pics!!!!!
 
I'm glad you love your new job, you seem to be fitting right in. You have gotten along with your loss just fine w/o the wii fit so I am sure you are going to find something else to help you along the way.

I just got back to eating healthy again and I need to do something active, I am not as tired anymore I just need to kick it up a notch you know get moving! The wii fit was fun the weekend I had it but mabe we can still fix the wii. We are seaching online tryin...if anyone knows how to fix a brick walled wii let me know lol!

Ooh, check Craigs list and stuff. A friend of mine just got a FREE treadmill off that site. I NEVER find stuff like that :rolleyes:

I enjoye working out while watching tv as well....but not in my pj lol! When I have my pj's on all I want to do is vedge!!!! Hopefully we get to the 160's soon!

I don't know that I would be that lucky......I once found one for 25$ but it was a very old one that wasn't even electric.....like from 100 years ago lol!
 
Ok so I have been a little to absent for my own taste in August and I must come on here everyday! I need this too keep me in check cause I am starting to snack for no reason again. I started with cheese and craker yesterday.....but today I took a step in the right direction I gave my box of crakers to the reste of the office staff! I asked them to kick my sorry behind if I dared to touche another peice of cheese or a craker before Firday wich will now be the day I have my cheat meal! I figure at least I weight myself that morning lol! I am also gonna start running /walking again tonight after my daughter is asleep! I need to get back on track fall clothes are comming out and I want to look and feel nice and get some shopping done! Ok so I have a new reason to stress well a couple. Things at work in the office are kind of tense! First off people are not liking my trainer....people get along with her outside the office but not during work hours and now I know why they asked me how I felt about working in a women 's environment OMG why don't they just set up a meeting with the boss and her and have it out get it over with......if someone is doing something others don't like talking behind the person's back will change absolutely nothing.....Second thing there is this rumour about my hubby's old boss and his wife comming back to the company they both had a break down and left almost 2 years again he did nothing but try to make trouble for my husband, and his wife worked the same job I am doing right now....so does that mean that I get laid off if she comes back...according to Ontario work laws since she left for medical reason they have to give her job back if she comes back with in two years....it doesn't have to be the same position but same salary and hours....I am wondering how this will impact my job, I really like what I am doing and can't afford to lose this job . Apparently my boss will talk to all of us at some point in the near future...her Facebook page says she is comming back to work in 4 to 5 weeks so I guess we will see then. I didn't write anything down that I ate today but starting tommorow I will. I am off to catch up with my forum friends and I will be more present from now on!
 
Uggh, the snacking is the most horrible thing EVER. I have that problem every now and then and its sooo hard to nip it in the bud.

Hope everything with your job works out the way it should... what a shitty law! Dang, I wonder how many people come up with a reason to take 2 years of disability and then just pop on in again. Crazy...
 
Damn cheese and crackers! I have been snacking on those this week too and cheese is so bad when not eaten in moderation and I never eat it that way!!! Congrats for getting out walking/running again! Good to hear! Maybe September will be our month for moving the scale down!! Let's hope!
 
OMG! Cheese and crackers, that is like one of my favorite snacks of all time! At least you stopped and said it out loud, so that the peeps in the office help you to not eat them until at least your cheat day. I know you are worried about the other woman coming back and not knowing where you stand, but you still have 4 to 5 weeks. Don't stress and do your best. See what your boss has to say first, and maybe go have a talk and see if you can be reassured as to what you can expect. I'm sure everything will be fine.

I am trying not to let the situation stress me, it's just that I love the job! I will fall back on my feetm=, If I do find myself with out a job I also don't have to pay 800$ a month on day care so there are way to make things work but I really like my job, I am hoping they put the other girl in shipping!

No snacking today :)...until I got home I wasn't even tempted but I ate my diner and now I am fine! Just one little slice of cheese no craker not even an ounce!

Hello forum friends!

Ok so today at work went fine and the boss is still not talking about that other girl returning to work. Technically one of the girl who has been there a year is the one who replaced that girl, I step into a brand new position, so I don't know how that would work out I mean either way it would suck the other girl has been there for a year so it would be wrong for her to lose her job and me stay but I quit a job (that I hated) but still I had been there for 7 years and I was "safe" of this type of situation! I guess we will see how the dices fall on that one no point in worrying over it now, the boss is supposed to have us all in a meeting in the next couple of weeks so I will see what happends then. Other then that I did my walk/run last night and I enjoyed it so I am planning to do it again tonight!

I am starting to drink more water but we have no cooler at my new job and tap water as a bit of sulfer in it it's great to drink but I have an issue with the smell so I have to get used to it or find where my caraffe went and bring water from home!
 
Ya know, for the cheese cravings, you should do laughing cow lite or weight watchers makes one just like them- they're only 35cals and come in different flavors AND you could eat 3 of em and still be good to go. And they're delish :)
The water thing- I feel ya there... my work has aweful water, so I bring 3 big ole liters of water with me everyday :rolleyes: we have a little company fridge, they stay cold that way :)
 
Just a quick update...I went for my walk / run and I added an extra KM to my usual route so it was 3 kilometer ( about 3 The last KM I didn't measur) and I pushed myself more then I usually did...when I reached the area that is out of town I decided that I would run from one electrical post to the next then walk until the next one and start running again.....I did that a few time I even ran for two post on my way back into town, when I got home I did some abs work 10 reg sit up and 40 bicycle ones and I did the plank 3 times for as long as I could hold it....tommorow I will try to do arms depending on how they feel ...Last weekend I carried my sleeping 25lb son for about 1hrs while he slept just walking around the fair so my arms got a good workout that I still feeling!!!! This quick update is getting big time to hit the shower then bed....Take care!

I am more of a cheddar kind of girl lol! I should give the laughing cow a try mabe now I would like it....but they don't have that at work since we are not the one who make it lol! So I would have to pa for it....I might try the Elan cheese it as like 4% fat our my company's cheese has a light vertion with only 18% fat...
I should just buy Evian water and refill the bottles at home....great idee thanks!
 
Awesome work on the workouts!! I should start doing some planks after my runs - great idea! So glad to see you in great spirits and resisting some temptation! Keep it up!
 
OMG Veronique! You are always talking about things I like to eat.....well....except the french fries cottage cheese and caramel :p
