UmmStarbucks Venti Iced White Mocha....

lol, yea they just magically appeard in my hand, and who am I to argue with magic :) I guess it probally was a 3k day. Brrn doing well this week with the exception that I didnt make the gym yesterday. I feel asleep at 9:45pm and didn't wake up till 8:30am so I must of been pretty beat. Feel great today though and Im heading out to the gym in about 5 minutes or so.

Good night at the gym:
81 minutes cardio (-1312 cal according to the display which probally is not 100% accurate)
60 minutes strength (around the circuit cours doing 3-4 set of between 10-30 reps each)

and now Im wired and wide awake.. lol

I'm always blown away by how much cardio you do; I feel good if I do 40 minutes on the elliptical! :hurray:

Thanks guys.
Yea I kind of zone out on the cardio, so it goes by pretty quickly. I always liked running or riding a bike far more than working out. Once I get another 30lbs off I'll start riding my bike again, as I tried last week and had saddle ass for three days.

Sunday: Had a bowl of Cheerios for breakfast, and then a Nachos plate from Chevy's for lunc and dinner (Half at each meal). As that Nachos plate had 1500 calories it was all I needed for the day. Didnt gog the gym Sunday as I figured out I need at least one day off a week to recover and not be whiped out come Monday morning :)

Monday:
1 yougart 110 cal breakfast
1 cup of Pasta for lunch (325 calories)
dinner" 4 strips of Chicken, two cups of pasta, and a half cup of zuchanni (1300 calories)
1 skinnycow ice cream bar 125 calories:
Total Cal: 1860 calories
Went to the gym: 75 minutes of cardio (-1176 cal) and 45 minutes of strength -?? cal)
I weighed myself and Im down another 3lbs, so while not great, it's still a positive :) I know if I change my diet I could shed this off faster, but I'm sometimes weak willed when it comes to food. Once Im at my goal, I'll probally feel more in tune and I'll hopefully have learned some better eating habits.
Happy Monday all!

The only solution to that is to get back on the damn thing and toughen up your cheeks!!

That's going to be my biggest issue once I start consciously training for a century. I've never been good for big mileage on a bike seat. I have a Terry Liberator model with the anatomic cut out. It's probably the most comfortable so far, but I may just ante up for an old fashioned Brooks leather one and break it in old school. All th ebig touring riders use 'em, there has to be a reason.

Must be the big Spring action on that seat :) Actually there probally just really comfey on those long rides.
I was looking around and thinking of trying this seat:

Seems like a good idea over the pointed nose seats. Any anything to keep the long term ED away is a good thing :)

This guy, Sheldon Brown, was the ultimate authority on all things bicycle related... sort of a modern day cycling guru. He passed away this year, but his legend lives on...

His website is both entertaining and informative.

Good info there thanks. Finally getting finished off with work and heading to the gym now. Uggh.

2:00am gym is a pain :)
But managed to do 75 min of cardio, and 45 min of strength last night and on Sat so thats good.
Heading out to SF fleet week today, get to see the Blue angels, and they always put on a good show.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Have fun watching the Blue Angels. I used to love seeing them fly. now I just watch the regular F-15s go over head all day long
Looks like you're still doing great with your workouts too, even if the gym sucks at 2am. :)
Have fun and take care

Yea they we're pretty awsome as usuall. The way these guys can fly at those speeds inverted and less than 10 feet from each other and still make perfect turns and loops is amazing. It was a beautiful day out, and we rode the bike into the city, and took the backroads home. It was a lot of fun. Seeing all the Navy guys and ships almost made me want to re-enlist... Almost.. :) They wouldn't take me back anyway, as I left with a medical discharge (Still have my Com and Exchange privlages though there is no more very close bases around here :(

Food today:
1 corn dog (Weak ass one too as I thought It was going to be a fresh made one, but noo it came out of a box all nice and frozen and then just put in the oil, lame) 460 calories
1 turkey and cheese sandwich with Mayo: 650 calories
1 cliff bar: 140 calories
cheese and tortilla quaseda: 300 calories
1 rootbeer:140 cal
Total: 1690 today.

Gym: 70 minutes carido (-1096) and 40 minutes of strength ?? cal)

As long as there's plenty of mustard, I will still like a frozen corn dog. Haven't had one in ages though.

I haven't ridden a bicycle in years, seeing as last time I ended up with a sore tailbone for months. Tried numerous types of seats... I hated them all. Guess I'm just not the bicycling type. Used to be when I was a kid. Maybe I just need one of those giant banana seats on the old kids' bikes.

Wow. I still can't imagine doing enough cardio to burn those kind of numbers. I'm happy if I get an hours worth of bellydancing in. but that still only burns maybe 1/2 the ammount you're getting. Great job Greg!
