I just wanted to pop in and say hello to a fellow Christmas Challenge team member!

So jealous about the Midieval Times! I went to an Arabian Nights show for Thanksgiving. Kind of a disappointment. :(

Hope you've made it out of your funk it seems you're in due to the weather.

Hi there Cat, medieval times was wonderful, the show was just *drool* The falconry was one of the best part.

The weather has not defeated me ( becuase I have meds and i will use them)

hey there ladybug good to see you back. I'mma keeping warm and fired up to lose some more weight. Have been busy keeping track of weight in the challenge so I haven't updated it in my journal yet. Currently just happy to be out of the 240's though.

mondays food.
aprox 398 Ml fruit cocktail in light syrup ( didn't drink all the syurp).
1.3 grams protein. 47 gram sugar, 251 calories. Mot the best breakfest but i was craving pine apple.
Stew in a light broth. ( searching for my notes on what this calculated to, will fill in later)
strogganoff. ( why fiance must you make the good but fatty foods) 10g protein
1 cup yogurt 8 grams protein (needs to buy the healthier brand of it though)
2 cups milk 18 grams protein.

and it's 4 am tuesday and i can't find my food log so i'll find the rest in late tonight when i update for tuesday.

Medieval dindin sounds like it was a right blast!

Good on ya for determining to write down your food choices and remain accountable. It is very helpful to see what you ate on weeks when you lost weight! Err...except for your one week where you ate all junk and lazed about and lost 2 lbs! LOL Something fishy there, wot...

Anyhoo, best of luck this week. Congrats on breaking the 240 barrier (I think that's what you said)!

junk food week provided weight loss because i was actually eating. bad budgeting and a bad sleep habits often leaves me with just dinner as a meal or dinner and breakfast. even when i only eat junk and move about a bit if i eat a decent amount of anything I find I lose weight.

things are better now though and i'm getting my meals ( mostly)

breakfast: 2 cups raison bran 1 cup 1% milk
lunch: slept through it
dinner: chicken nuggets and plum sauce
water : at least three glasses ( lost count afterwards)
will examine labels for nutritional information later.

exorcise: did squats, lunges, walking/marching in place and some stuff I forget the name of while watching the biggest loser.

*snuggs abbagirl* I'll be popping by your journal later. need some sleep now
 
I don't know what i weight atm and really I don't care. my father turned intoa totally asshole about me marrying a woman and it's eating away at me. i can't get his words out of my head and right now food helps. exorcising just makes me hot and angrier. I have no oen who really wants to listen to me vent so it's all just pent up stress.

starting fresh for newyears though if it kills me.
 
I'm back sorta ^-^ back to 244 lbs as well :cuss: lost my favored uncle last week and life in general has been a complete bitch.

However I went out to Walmart and got a yoga ball some weights and a couple resistance bands. I'm ready to give this a shot again but i'm not sure i can do it alone. anyone still out there? Anyone wanna be my buddy?
 
Ahh monday how I dislike thee, still I got some walking in and went back to drinking mostly water. Was planning to do the outside stairs before they got all icy ( piss off bad weather you were up to 16 for like a week with no snow in sight)

Tomorrows is work with the resistance bands and walk to the bank and back day.

part of me wants to start counting calories again and part of me says that can wait till next week.
 
looks like it's only indoor work for a while, we got a good few inches of snow and some hail. Still got plenty of indoor work to do.
 
Sorry to hear about your uncle Umbra! I sure hope things start getting better in your neck of the woods real soon. I know all about ice weather, we were without power a week in December due to a severe ice storm. Good job getting the ball and still doing your walking. Anything during this time of crisis, is going to be a good stress reliever. Good luck to you the rest of your week.

Thanks I'm slowly getting back into a sane frame of mind. Having fun using resistance bands and the snow is clearing up so i can do stairs tomorrow as well as walking and stuff.
 
getting a ps2 thursday, look out extra pounds i'm going to ddr you into non existance ty very much.

workouts are a bit odd and i need to find my old shedule and calorie plan. still things are going well. Hoping to make a big report by the end of this week.
 
Today goes well, sticking to drinking the water and working with the resistance bands and the yoga ball today. Possibly some strip tease exercise video later tonight.

I URGE YOU TO BUY DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION FOR YOUR PS2!!! It is also called DDR, perhaps you know if it already. You hook it up, get on your mat (I got 2 mats so 2 can do it at once), and dance your arse off! LOL It is totally fun, I do it with my kidlets all the time! A g-r-e-a-t way to burn off calories!

All for now, great to start the NY with a fresh frame of mind.

I totally know of ddr and I have supernova2. I'm using workout mode to keep track of how many calories approximately i have burned. It's really fun.
 
Had my first major ddr workout monday I was sweating like a pig by the end of it ( fortunately not on the mat). I'm playing on basic ( light from previous games i think not beginner) so about 120 steps per song and i'm sticking to upbeat songs.

i've got the exercise down now i just need to watch my calories every day and I'm good.
 
tuesday report ^^

Calories consumed approx 1510 ( i actually want that number closer to 1700 which is really where I should be although i consumed an ungodly amount of fat for the amount that I ate)
DDR: approx 1 hour
I also fiddled with some 2lb weights, did some yoga like stuff and marching in place


plans for wednesday
breakfast: 3 hardboiled eggs
lunch grilled cheese sandwich and soup
dinner: unknown
workout
ddr : use workout mode to walk five miles
half hour of using resistance bands.
household chores ( not much but hey every little bit helps.
 
Wednesday became my official day off after I slept through most of it which is sad since i did my best for calories that day.

It's Thursday night and i lost track of my calories at dinner ( boxes for our food keep getting thrown out to make room in the freezer) but I know I had a fairly healthy breakfast and lunch. I'm doing my ddr is small sets of about four songs and trying to pick more difficult songs becuase the ones I've become accustomed two are getting far too easy to be a real workout ( thankfully there's varying difficulty on each level of songs and 70 songs I use so it'll be months before I even move up a level in difficulty never mind master all the songs.

Tommorow my game group meets and is having a sleepover. there's going to be temptation ahoy and I am going to resist it.
