Ok, we're not even gonna talk about what happened last night. All in all, I didn't eat that much, but I didn't do well either. Oh well. Today's a new day, tomorrow is over and done and nothing can be doen about it now.

I went shopping yesterday. I hate clothes shopping. I tried on several pairs of pants - why aren't all brands made the same??? 16 regular in Levi's - yeah, I don't think so. They didn't want to come all the way up my butt, let alone try to zip and button them! I laughed at the 14's I had picked up to try on, too. 16 regular in some other brand fit, but were almost too big. The 14's in the same brand I could get up and buttoned and zipped, and if I didn't want to breathe I could even sit down. So I bought the 14's as something to look forward to. There was another brand of khaki type pants where the 14 regular (that I bought) were a few more pounds away from being baggy, but the 12 regular was not a pretty sight. Why can't you go into a store, say, ok, I wear a 14, and have every pair of 14's in the store fit?? And who's wonderful idea was it to start labeling sizes as inches? there is no reason they should make a women's size 16 be a 32 or 33 or whatever it was! Like a 16 doesn't sound big enough already?? Aaaahhh!!!!

Ok, I think I feel a little better.

Today so far:
Breakfast - 3/4 cup of Apple Cinnamon Cheerios, 1 cup 2% milk.
 
Ok, lunch so far was:

2 slices of low cal white bread (80 cal)
3 oz can of tuna (80 cal)
2 tbs Miracle Whip light (40 cal)
1 100 cal pack of Doritos (100 cal)
for 300 calories total.

Whoever's idea it was to make those 100 cal packs of chips/crackers should be sainted. It's just enough to give you a pretty good taste - and let you have some with a sandwhich or as a snack - without the 300+ calories that come with the small bag of chips. And since the chips themselves are smaller, you don't look at the back of the bag at a serving size and say "I only get 5 chips?" LOL. I think it all comes down to how it looks on your plate.
 
LOL I hear ya'! I love those lil' bags too. They are handy and you don't have to guess on the calories..."7 chips...5 chips with broken pieces..." I found some All Bran snacks that were really great and high in fiber.

What ever happened last night, happened last year this is a new year!! Fresh start!!:) :) :)
 
Last night would have been much worse if you weren't trying!! I'm sure you did better than you thought, but still, like what was said earlier, that was last year!!! Holidays are tough, but they're OVER! :D No more holidays for at least a month and a half so get to it!!! :) ....at least that's what I tell myself :D

I am a fan of the 100 calorie packs and didn't know they had
those in doritos I msut go out tomorrow and buy some because
I eat sandwhiches for lunch alot of the times.Good luck and we all
had a rough lastnight but today is the 1st day of the New Year and

lol i fully understand about the clothes.
Mind you, i just got a couple new Ts today, i got a heap of compliments also :D
 
Thank God the holidays are OVER!!! Yesterday was the start of the new year and a new start for all of us!! This will be our year. And preaching to the choir about sizes! I have a closet full of 14's that I bought last spring to fit into as I was losing weight and now I have gained and some fit and some don't:( but I can wear jeans now which I couldn't a few years ago:D
 
hehe I have fat friends and i have slim friends but none in between. So far ive been able to juggle clothes with friends up until now, now im having to buy stuff and sell it online :/
 
Ugh, sometimes I hate being a woman! LOL. Those size 14 jeans I bought on Sunday wouldn't button or zip today! But I'm going to blame that on it being that time and hope it doesn't affect Thursday's weigh-in too much. I was gonna do my end of first month measurements on Thursday, too, but if things haven't changed by then, maybe not. Oh well. We'll see.

Today hasn't been too bad, but I feel like I ate bunches.

Breakfast:
3/4 cup of Special K
1 cup 2% milk

Snack:
100 cal pack of Doritos
1 serving string cheese

Lunch:
Lean Cuisine Creamy Macaroni and Cheese
1 Kiwi fruit
1 low cal, sugar free pudding cup

Total of 958 calories so far.

Supper:
I think we're having frozen pizza. Ugh. I don't even know what's on it. Guess I should go look. Ok, it's pepperoni and sausage. 350 cal for 1/5th of the pizza. If I add a big salad with it, I should be ok.

Howdy,I have the same problem with pants-jeans
to I fit into a 13-14 perfect not tight not loose but I have these
15's that refuse to go around my hips that is so discouraging!
I just say to myself they were meant to have a size 12 tag and
the manufactuer tagged it wrong lol!

Tammy, I did have a pair like that once. Two identical pairs of jeans, same size, one fit nicely, one was snug. Oh well.

Ok, had 2 small slices of pizza, a good sized salad, and I'm working on an apple. So maybe I managed to salvage something good out of supper.
 
lol... i can't afford to buy jeans and not being able to wear them now. Have been scouting for bands/stretchables. so i can still wear when i slim down. Heheh... great saver idea.:p
 
I found leggings and lycra to be the best thing. It shrinks with me nicely.
Though i cant say im a huge fan of tight clothes - its saved me a ton of dollars. I can still wear the size 22 leggings and they are only a tiny bit baggy and saggy. and im now in a size 16-18.

I just liked the idea of being able to see the difference in size. Other people seem to be seeing the difference in just these 15 pounds, but I'm not, so I needed something that I would notice.

Ok, so far today:

Breakfast:
Cheerios - 60 cal
2% milk - 120 cal

Lunch will be:
Lean Pocket Turkey and Cheddar - 290 cal.
Salad 3 cups
3 tbs Light Done Right 3 cheese Ranch dressing
1/4 cup cheese

And I will get all my water in. I did it yesterday, so today should be no problem, right?
 
Yes you can get the water in! i am trying to make it a habit. Spo far that isn't working too good but I am getting it all drank!!:D Have a great day!:)
