Sorry to hear about your leg injury. I hope you are taking exercise seriously (and carefully) nowPlenty of low impact stuff can still be really beneficial without causing a problem to your leg!
Well done on the lossAnd well done on the headaches lol, it's a good sign that your body is reacting, it shows that you're actually depriving it enough to have an effect! Keep it up

Thank you so much! Yes, I am working with a low impact set of exercises and Oh boy, I am terribly out of shape. Losing the weight will be more beneficial on my ankle in the long run due to the extra pressure added onto the joint with each step and activity I perform.
Yes, I have made it through today with a little help of Excedrin to ward off a little of the ponding and fogginess that comes with the withdrawal from the soda. I was hoping to be down to one today, but caved and actually had two. I stumbled a little, yet there is always tomorrow with a clean slate. I have also given up processed bread products which was another one of my downfalls. Go to dinner and just give me the bread basket, please

Heading into day four with no pop and feel like I've had a sudden energy zap without the caffeine, but know that will be short lived. I'm ready for the fog to lift and work on replacing those fluids , along with those empty calories. I have for as far back as I can remember detested plain water and I am trying to adjust to just drinking it anyway.
