Tuna!

I can't stand warm hot tuna. I eat it as a tuna samwich. My wife makes it with tuna, mayo, lettus, tomato, celery, salt and pepper. I ain't that gifted in the kitchen, so I make it with just mayo. Ate a whole can for lunch today:D

Eat it with crackers and relish :)

Take the potato out of a jacket potato mix it with tuna and black pepper then replace in the skins. Place a small knob of butter on the potato, lovely.

I can't eat it out of a tin. I usually grill a tuna steak then cut it up and put it in an omelette with some brocolli. I like the jacket spud idea willy - will definitly be trying that one!

Be hardcore. Squirt a little mustard into the drained can, and enjoy. About 200 calories of protein.

my rents always make sandwhiches with tuna, whole wheat bread, low fat mayo, or i think its like labeled salad dressing but looks like mayo in the jar...
but it goes PERFECTLY with some lemon pepper :) mmmmm

My favorite:

Fresh tuna steaks sprinkled with a little fresh ground black pepper. Sear it on all sides over very high heat. Just sear the outside! Don't completely cook it. Serve with soy sauce with fresh grated ginger in it. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm... man, that's good stuff!!

As aevans410 mentioned, there is a lot of toxins in a lot of
fish these days. There is a website where you can get safe
tuna....... I ordered it into Canada and
it is soooo good. Ahi tuna raw is amazing!!
One way to enjoy tuna and it's super healty is simply:

1/2 avacado sprinkled with some fresh lemon juice
Mix tuna, green onion, celery, 1 tbsp. hummus, lemon juice
pepper (salt optional) and add tuna mix into the avacado.
Drizzle with vinegar and enjoy!

Cheers~!

i have it about once a week, and straight out of the can. fast, easy, and no clean up envolved

Except maybe your blood.

Last time I opened a tuna can I cut myself between the thumb and the forefinger..right where that stretchy skin is...Ouch that was annoying....

But what I do is just eat tuna with bread and some mayo. Thats all..I like to grind my tuna up; it tastes better.

Daily around ~2 hours before bedtime.

Straight out of the can (Drained first ofc), just got to find the right brand!
I always ate disgusting tuna, looks and tastes like catfood, but I'm using a different brand now which tastes just like chicken (just a little drier) :D

In an Eggs white Omelette with 1 tbsp of milled flax, a bit of cottage cheese (or shredded cheddar) and pepper to taste. Tried this for the first time tonight and honestly, it wasn't that bad.

Mayo/Miracle Whip
Lots of Red onion
Banana peppers
avocado

Wrapped in lettuce with tomatoes on top!

Easy
Cheezy
to Please me.....I like it!

I have also heard the mercury deal, but have also heard that as long as you dont eat more than a can of tuna per week then the mercury levels are not that severe....can anyone verify that?

tuna & pasta

Here's my tuna recipe. I make it up a couple servings at a time and have it at lunch.
Chop up some tomato and onion, and press a few bulds of garlic. Use a non-stick pan with a little olive oil and fry up the onions. Add in some seasoning, when the onion is soft add in the garlic for a minute or two (don't burn it). Throw in the chopped tomatoes, add a can of drained tuna (the chunky kind, not the cat food kind) and let it simmer for 2-4 mins. You can put some chopped black olives in as well if you like olives. Serve with wheat pasta or brown rice.
Takes about 10 mins to prepare.

Mix it with Barilla Plus protein angel hair pasta, can of cream of mushroom soup, put it in a baking dish, throw some fat free cheese on top and bake it. TONS of protein, very little to no fat, GREAT healthy carbs with the Barilla Plus. You'll have lunch all week.
