Thanks for the kind words.. Beth is great! Best damn thing that ever came my way! No kidding! Looking forward to July still.. need to pick your brain on where to stay. I use to live up there in Monterey but I know it's changed.. hell, Fort Ord was still there.. heard it's a University now!

Well, Friday has arrived!! :D

I am a little confused by my weight.. just doesn't make sense to me. I still think my body is in fat loss mode these days.

I took Steve's advice and increased my sets and weights and decreased my reps per set. I also have increased my calorie comsumption by about 400 calories a day. Still, I am hovering around 185 pounds and holding strong.

I am now lifting amounts of weight I never could lift before and I know I am cutting up and getting bigger.. just weird that with all of that.. I'm still maintaining or losing the weight.

Starting to wonder if I should cut down on my cardio time. Any thoughts?

Right now I am doing 30 minutes on the elliptical machine and then a 5 minute cool down at the end of my lifts. Thinking about cutting back to 20 minutes and see. One thing though is that the cardio is more for my high blood pressure and getting my ticker healthier than for fat loss.

Now, I know and understand that this is not the usual post on here.. I'm whining because I am not gaining any weight. Bare with me, I can be weird at times! Ask my wife! :p

I am back in the gym tonight and then taking my wife out to dinner.. after a shower of course. Hoping for some sort of weight gain without having to eat 3 hamburgers!

Would love some ideas.. can anyone help me out here??

Well today starts week number 4 of my 6 week bulking up program. I'm not gaining the weight I thought I would but definitely getting some definition now. I was going to take a week 3 photo last night but forgot.. sorry!

My ate a lot more over the weekend, took in more protein than I have been and actually gained about 2 pounds overall. Could be like my wife said, water weight since I really didn't drink as much as I am accutomed to. We''ll see... :D

I'll write more later!

I would say you have one GOOD WIFE there!! :D Is she also trying to lose or tone up?? I just ask, because my better half is so fit he can't even imagine why it's hard losing. Don't get me wrong, he's supportive, he's just never had a problem with his build. Makes me sick. HAHAHA Of course there is that other side, He's very easy on the eyes. :) I'll be stopping by to keep up with your progess.

Well, As most of you know from reading my wife's diary.. the next 2 days will be hell for us. We are moving all our boxes and "Crap" over tomrrow to the new house and then the movers come on saturday to take the furniture and anything else left over.

I know I am going to get plaenty of exercise and lifting in from the moving but sometime tomorrow, I will hit the gym and get my normal lift and cardio in!!

Up a couple pounds this morning but proabbly from the heavy lunch I had yesterday.. Monte Cristo Sandwiches.. Hard to find a good one but when my boss took everyone out to lunch at Humphries by the Bay.. they had a good one... and I ate it it all!! :rolleyes:

Well, we'll be down for a couple days after tonight. Taking down the computers at home but we should be up and running by Saturday evening sometime.

Hi Kim.. sorry it took me so long to get back at ya on here! I can relate to where you are coming from. Beth gets aggravated with me at times because I lose weight pretty darn fast and it takes her a while for her body to respond to what she is doing to it. But, in the end, she catches up and passes me. We are both very supportive of each other and I absolutely love the new her!! :D

Are you guys in SoCal somewhere?? If not, where are ya?

No Problem! I'm currently living in Oklahoma City, we live out on about 5 acres we really love it here. I'm originally from sunny California, born and raised, mainly in the Bay Area. When I graduated I moved to Upstate NY, then here. You said your wife is on this forum?? What is her screen name?

I lived in the Bay Area for about 10 years of my Naval Career.. Mainly up in vallejo (Near Napa) and down in Monterey. Love it up there! made it through the 89 quake and everything!!!
