Hey Bronwyn! Congratulations on being able to get in some exercise at the gym today! I'm so glad you are feeling better.

I'm gonna have to quit reading your diary! No tuna in the house and now I am wanting some again! :p

I enjoyed reading your diary  and getting to know a little more about you, your family and your routine.

You are one busy lady full of determination. You will be at your goal in no time. You are not a quitter, I can see that. You know when your body needs to recoop and when recooped you get right back to the gym. You are always on the lookout for some way to exercise, even around your yard. You stay the course and still have time for your family.

All the makings of success. Keep up the good work

Yeah I have to agree, you really are rocking with determination. Whenever I read your latest post I'm so impressed at how driven you are. Plus being some what muscularly built myself, its nice to chat/talk with others that are too! :) Something inspiring about althetic women!! So keep up the wonderful work.

Electricity went out because of the storm so no water (we don't have town water and need an electric presure pump to get water from the tank) or light from this point on in the day

The family sat down and played a game of talisman by torch light which was um interesting and supper was cooked on the gas camping stove.

Supper: Stir fry beef and veg with chinese noodles.

Electricity is back on this morning but it looks like we are going to get more rain, the driveway is so washed out i don't think i can get the car out today.

it is monday morning and yesterday was awfull for food

breakfast: none
Lunch: 2 slices of raisin bread
snack: 2 pieces of barley sugar

after a slow start to the day i finally dragged my fat arse away from the computer to do 4 hours of digging ditches to drain away storm water.

Supper: 4 slices of pizza and a few mouthfulls of fanta.

Water: 3 litres

today IS going to be better !!

it sure is! you are going to do just fine! We are rooting for you! And you are doing great on your water! I look at water as a 'flusher'. Cant flush the fat without lots of help with water!

time to drag myself away from the computer this morning, I am going outside now the rain has stopped to measure the length of one of the paddocks and add some interval training running up hill to improve and add some variety to my cardio workouts on the days i don't go to the gym.

I have a hard time with running but should start to improve my speed and fitness ready for the winter rugby season.

Hey sounds like you are doing so well, and how sweet to hear that from your son! :) Gotta love the little ones and their honest observations! :D

measured the distance for where i am going to run, it is 45 metres uphill at approx. 30 degree angle. I will measure the angle when i have time. I done 5 sprints uphill with the walk back in between each before i felt like i needed to vomit. hopefully i can improve on this in the next few weeks, running is always hard on my asthma and is my biggest weak spot when it comes to sport.

following this hubby an i had to unbog the car after hubby bogged it in the the mud on the driveway last night when he went out to get the pizza.

One of the sports i enjoy playing is rugby but as many of the members here are not familiar with the game. i found this website which explains the game rather well. I usually play in the front row as hooker of sometimes prop.

You are doing great! I admire you for starting the running! As much as I know it would lean me out, I just can't make myself (at least not yet)! That's cool your kid gave you that compliment too... makes ya feel good cuz they're honest little suckers!;) I had a aunt who's three year old once told her, "Mommy, you look like a snowman." OUCH!!

Keep up the good work! :D

hey girl! just stopping by your journal as well. :) my boy is a rugby player as well! altho he has bad knees, so for a while he has been out of it - i'm about to boot him back into it just to give him something to do!!!

i'm totally impressed by your exercise, you are so active!!! living in the city my big exercise is walking everywhere, working as a nurse, and going to the gym. someday i'll get back to my country roots and do outdoorsy stuff again. . . . .:)

great work, and the comment from your son was fabulous. nothing more honest than from the mouth of a child!!! :)

morning hun - hope you had a good weekend

my bro went to australia last year for the rugger he used to play pro in the uk but league not union....
:)

good morning all, rt rained again last night but we lift the care outside the front gate yesterday so i won't need to slip and slide down the driveway when i go out shortly to the gym for my fitness assesment.

i am feeling tight in the quad muscles today after the running.

paula it has taken me along time to get up the courage to run because i run like a slug lol

totallyscrappy, the rain is expected this time of year in the sub tropics, hot steamy and rain but i still wish it would clear for a few day so things can dry out.

heather i started with bad knees from other sports but have put a lot of effort into making them stronger, what position does your son play ?

sez i enjoy watching the league on tv lol i will probably change my avatar when it gets to football season :)

Rhys is very honest with what he has to say just like most 8 year olds and it is especially good because he was the one who before now was alway telling me i was fat.
