Trusylver's Diary

Thanks Tru for the links. The second one () really made me do some math and look at my remaining weight loss goal in a whole new way. I have more weight to lose, but I have also wanted to lose fat and gain some muscle mass. Crunching the numbers, I see to lose 10 lbs and 12% BF (from 33% to 21%), I need to lose 19 lb BF and gain 9 lb muscle. I run and do light strength training, but I see now I have to step up the weight training and further tweek the fuel I'm putting into my body. Do you like any websites for nutrition?

Sorry to drone on about my progress in your diary, but I did want to say Thanks! A person never knows where they are going to get their motivation or pick up a tip that may really put them on the right path.

GO the mighty EELS

I hope it's a good game, and hope the Eels can overcome some of the problems they have been having.

Bring on State of Origin and Go the BLUES from a Cockroach deep within the land of the Cane Toad.

Body fat percentage?

Sorry to interrupt, im curious about body fat percentages  could u tell me, how do they work and how do u work them out?:)

i had rugby training yesterday evening, today is a quiet day at home but will spend some time on the execize bike to make up for the beer and chips tonight when i watch the Origin game.

fattrapped, i have posted some info in your diary, I hope the info is helpfull in explaining bodyfat percentages. measuring bodyfat gives you a more accurate guide to your fat levels than BMI, especially if you have a muscular build.

I had rugby training last night, mostly fitness drills including running laps, pyramid sprints and running and passing drills followed by ruck and maul practice.

found out last night my youngest sons team is going to be playing at half time for the Australia Vs South Africa game soon and parents will be getting tickets WoooHooo :D :D

Gym training this morning was Arms, Chest and Back

here is the photo from yesterday's paper of my rugby team after our first game of the season last saturday.

Hey that is really cool about your son, way to go. I've always wanted to play rugby but just never got round to it...

Wow with all those trainings you must be super fit!

Keep it up:D

Mumtotwo - it is never to late to start, this is my second season and i am 33, there are several players on the team that had never played before last saturday. and it certainly helps with fitness and weight loss :D
