Trops Diary

Why on earth would there need to be sugar and egg whites in peanut butter... peanut butter should be peanuts... maybe salt..

Well obviously there doesnt need to be. You can buy it without it.
The sugar makes it sweeter and a little more palatable. The eggs just make it a little better source of protein. I actually like the Naturally More brand better than the stuff at the health food store. It tastes better and aside from the sugar is better for you. I will trade a little cane sugar for added protein and omega fats.

isnt t hat the one that's striped with grape jelly and peanut butter?

looks scary :D

but makes me curious how they get it in there like that.. I'm sure there's a food network special on it :D

grapes are healthy so grape jelly must be
Peanuts are heathy so yeah...

id say it gets two thumbs up :D

marshmallow fluff would make it even better :D

I've seen Goober's brand, but never tried it. It looks like it'd be such a mess to use. :ack2: I'd imagine that there is some kind of giant pastry bag thing that squeezes out the stuff in those ribbons.

That goober stuff reminds me of the aquafresh pump toothpaste that I used to have as a kid. The kind that came out with the green and red stripes. I don't think I could enjoy goober with that image in my head.

Crap all this talk about PB&J and now I might just have to give in.

Last night nothing worked out. I picked up some veg at the farm stand with the intention of making veg stir fry with black beans over rice. Sounds good, huh? I get home and I get the mutiny. No more of this stuff! We want crap for dinner for once! OK, gotta give in from time to time. I skipped it for a bowl of cereal. Also, there was soccer practice right when I was planning on running, so running got cancled.

Good thing, though, is this morning I weighed in at 204.2. Getting there. :D

Work is busy today, so I can't run or jump rope on break. I'll have to get something in later. I have to. Oh, and somebody brought in the most delicious baked goods. Pastries, doughnuts. :ack2: It looks sooooo gooooood, but I haven't even tried a bit. Staying strong!

This weekend we were planning on going away, just me and my wife. Those planns got scuttled, but we're looking for a back up. I really want to get away and vacation even if just for an overnight, but I also don't want to stop my weight loss progress. I'm going to work hard to do both. :coolgleamA:

Guess you will just have to find a way to work it off ;)

If you skip on those pastires and donuts long enough, you won't ever want one. I haven't had a donut in years... but mainly because they make me sick!! My body can't handle the junk thats in them!!!

Way to the strong Trops!! You are on a warpath for sure!

I'm with Fitt, doughnuts are nasty! Although once my housemate took plain pizza dough from Trader Joe's, made little balls, and fried them and covered them in cinnamon and sugar. Home made doughnut holes. We liked those.

there are donuts that come in boxes at the grocery store, and there are the donuts that are made at the Italian Bakery. Two very different things. :drooling: These things just launch themselves into your mouth. It's horrible here.:banghead:

HAHAHA! Yes and sometimes champagne squirts 50 feet into my mouth apparently  Congrats on the 204.something! What was it you wanted to see this week? 202? I can't remember!

The goal for this week was 205. It's under 200 for the month. The weekends are going to be tough, though. We'll see what Monday brings. :smash:
