Thanks. 12 minutes of that really kicks your ass. It's surprising how tough it is.

I'm a glutton for punishments... aka tough workouts... maybe I'll get some sand bags too!! Although I would hate to copy EVERYTHING you do!!! :D It's bad enough I stole your quote and took artistic liberties with it!! Get on those wall sits, that way we know we are sharing ideas, instead of me stealing yours!! :D
 
Docking station won't work because a lot of time when I'm jumping I'm outside. I have a really cool spot in the woods and there is a heard of dear that watch me. It's so cool. If I'm indoor there are usually people around and I don't subject them to my music. I get very personal about what I'm listening to. It silly because it isn't like it's anything out there. It's just that a lot of times it's like a window into what I'm feeling at that moment, and those feelings are for me alone. Like I said, it's silly.

That is cool abt the deers and outside and such...s for your music and feelings, lol, it isnt silly, your a man, HA:D

I'm constantly on the lookout for the best cheesecake recipe. If you think you got it, post it here. :D

We have a great low fat one tha twe all love and look forward to eating:)

I forgot to mention the workout today. I had a break at work where instead of sitting and drinking coffee I went to the stairway and just walked up and down about 50 times or so. It's a big stair way, just about 13 feet from bottom to top, so I think that's just over a standard floor. Also, there are only 15 steps, so each one is higher then normal.

I did that for 15 min, then I grabbed two sand bags (50 pounds each) and walked with them. I'd put one down, walk 25 paces, put the other one down, pick it up, walk back, change bags, do it again, pick up both, put one down. You get the picture. Damn, that was a good one. After 12 minutes of that I was shot. :ack2: I still had 3 minutes to make it a full 30 minutes, so I did 10 more flights of stairs.

Good workout, but I'm going to try to get to the gym tonight anyway. :smash:

Damn guy...That is a kick ass work geeesh...I hate running the stairs and such and i hate that damn stair climber at the gym, lol.

Way to go with the accountability for yourself and the team.Im looking forward to getting to know you:)

Well, I jumped rope today instead of eating lunch. 5500 jumps in 36 min. I wanted to go longer, but I can't sneek away for that long with the boss around. :D

Also I tried (lamely) to do some wall sits. 2 min, then a two min break then a minute and a half. Then I was shot. :svengo:
 
Damn man, I'm impressed :)

Forgive a girl a stupid question but do you count in your head or do you have a counter or something...I would get distracted and lose count pretty fast :D
 
I used to count in my head, but I just got a digital jump rope. Very cool! I'd recommend it to anyone interested in jumping.
 
WOW. You and JZ with your jumps are amazing! Where would someone pick up these magical jump ropes?

Ummm side note: I'm slightly obsessed with wall sits. I love to get a medicine ball and pass it from side to side, I feel like it makes me focus less on my legs and can hold myself there longer.

I am interested in your recommendation for the jump rope too :) Not that I could do 50 in row right now, it is something I would like to work out with in time. Just so tired of doing the running-jump-rope-thing down the street with the kids :smilielol5: I know I have got better coordination than that!
 
I got mine on New Year's Eve at the Sport's Authority for $15. Bodyfit by Sports Authority, so I guess it's a store brand.

Bucky, I like the medicine ball thing. I have to do something to keep my mind off the knives going through my legs.
 
truthfully we all want to do our best on this challenge...and we want each other to do great too...the smack talk just helps keep it interesting and actually is kind of motivating

Just checking in for the night. Food for the day was just not enough. I had two bowls of GoLean and two large coffees, but other then a spoon full of peanut butter and jelly, I didn't have anything. I got home from work STARVED, so I made dinner a bit earlier then usual. Mini cajun burgers with spinach and cucumber salad. The mini burgers were so good, but only about 2 oz each.

Tomorrow the gym has free babysitting, so I'll be hitting it then. :smash:
 
Hey trops, looks like you certainly got your points in there.. Do you work out on the island or in the city? I wish I had you cooking me dinners like that..YUM!!
 
the mini burgers sound fun. I think I'd run away from your spinach and cucumber salad though. that would be the death of me. litterally.
enjoy the free babysitting, wish I had that option. :D I'll just have to wait another 5 weeks or so and have Matt watch the kids. :D give them a bit of daddy/daughter time and give me a bit of MOMMY TIME!!! talk about a slice of heaven. ;)
and you still amaze me with your jump count. 5500 is just phenominal. I doubt I could do 1/10 of that. bravo.

WOW!! NICE WORKOUTS MAN!!! I must ask though... what do you do while your jumping? I mean do you just listen to music or watch TV or what? I swear I wouldn't be able to jump for 5 minutes, let alone how long you and JZ can go! And count at the same time? NOW you're asking A LOT lol! Thank God for jump ropes with counters on them! :hurray:
