Trevor's Journey

Margaret, thanks for stopping by! The food cravings are hard but so far i have been successful...

Sorry i didn't update last night as i was studying for my trig test that starts in about two and a half hours.....yawn, im tired..

I didn't get much sleep at all considering i went to bed at 12:45 AM and awoke at 5:15 AM...I remember things better if i study right before the exam versus staying up really late the night before. I feel like i will do alright, but not super like i had hoped for. Some of this stuff can get very confusing...and i cant wait until class is over today so i can come back and relax. I might take a nap before working out or something because im running on nothing except oatmeal and a protein shake.

The calories were good yesterday and im going for the same thing today! two days in..and no problems yet! Today in the gym is a shoulders/back workout which probably wont be as intense as i hoped due to lack of sleep :(

I still have 40 minutes of HIIT to do this week still and im not planning on doing it today....yawn

Well, i hope everyone has a great morning and i will be back after my test wic im going to go study for right NOW!

Trevor

I hope that you have a good day.

Good luck on the test. I am sure that you will do well. You were wise to study last night and not spend ages on the forum. Sometimes other responsibilities need to come first - and your weight control is not dependant on the forum anyway.

I am sure that you dont need me to tell you to try and get a better night's sleep. When I was your age I used to leave things until the last minute and let them interrupt sleep - but there really is a better way. I hope that you do get a nap because frankly 4.5 hours is not enough and I dont want you injuring yourself when you go to exercise.

Thanks for the good luck margaret, it paid off...the test was no problem and now all i have left is one class at noon...then im taking a 2 hour nap before wroking out when i get back to my apartment.

Im actually pretty energized atm...dont know why but im sure that will change if i go to workout.

Good Morning Trevor.
You are the most content person I think I know!
Want and Need are two different things :)
This is a time in your life that you can be selfish.
After you have kids (in the future), you don’t get shit!-Ever!!!! :cuss:

I'm with Kimberly on this one- I WANT a crap lode of money! :piggy:
(I'm just looking for that one person that says-"OK, I will give you all the Sweet Moola you could ever want" with no strings attached!)
"Anyways!" - (using my best Nacho Libre impersonation)
I hope you all get what you want coz you deserve it.
Have a fabulous day!

Thanks for stopping by K!!!! Well now i want something.....4 new tired for my car...

While driving home from school i kept hearing a thump noise in the front left of my car. Having to deal with flats before, i automatically assumed it was flat...but it isn't. My tires are old (3+ years), I have a 2004 Chrysler Sebring and i have been told over and over to get them replaced, but who wants to spend 300+ dollars getting wheels of rubber?!? Well now i have too becuase it turns out the front tires are going to tire heaven in the next month....so here we go again, another stress...

Hi Trev,

I'm glad you're Trig test went well. :hurray: Now go get some sleep!! :D

Cars suck. I am dealing with those issues myself right now, so I know how you feel. When I was in college, every car problem was major stress b/c I was dirt poor. Are there any tire places having sales right now? That's probably your best bet. :)

You seem to do pretty well with the food cravings, which shows a great deal of will power and control on your part. :cheers2: <--it's not beer--just frothy water. :D

Have a good nap and workout. :hug2:

It would seem everyone is having automobile problems! Myself included. I hate how expensive it is to have a proper running machine. Thankfully our vehicle is still under warrenty. It saves us from having to pay 500+ to get it fixed again.

Glad your trig test went well! I have test anxiety, so being under pressure never runs smoothly with me.

It's awesome that you're doing well to curb your cravings. Constantly being hungry is extremely frustrating.

Have a good nap and an even better workout, my friend, and I'll talk to you later!!

Hi Trevor! I just wanted to poke my head in and say hello since I noticed you're a fellow Austinite. Um, and because you seem like a nice person. I'm not a stalker, I swear. (Invariant, help me out here!)

Anyway, congrats on the test and sorry about the tires.. the last time I had to buy tires I went to Discount Tire and it was only about $200 for all four tires plus a decent road hazard warranty. Granted, this was a couple years ago and I bought pretty cheap tires. Still, they lasted just fine and I never had any problems with 'em. A tip: Usually they offer special deals if you sign up for a credit card with them and are approved. I think I got like 10% off when I signed up for mine, and 90 days same as cash. Good luck!

Ya, NTB has that kind of deal, but i may just wait until i have the extra money for my tires, which should be soon. I mean who needs to eat these days! :)

Thanks for all the kind compliments squeak and your welcome anytime in here!

Good Morning Everyone!

Woke up today with a lot more energy then the previous two days! I got nine hours in as well as a great breakfast (6 egg whites and oatmeal). Today, like i stated before is day out of the gym, but if i feel up to it, i may go run. Yesterday i went an checked out my new apartments for next fall semester through my remaining years in college ( about 3 more years!). My roommate right now is also my best friend and we go back to high school days.....well his mom bought a condo at some fancy apartments here in college station as she is a real estate and saw profit, and she offered for me, him, and one other to live there and pay reduced rent! Awesome, instead of 600/ month its only 500/ month for us to live at the best apartments in town. anyways, here is the website if you want to check them out:

We have a 3 br townhouse layout and its awesome! I cant wait until august 15th. The weight room and cardio room is what killed me....they have personal trainers there everyday to assist you, and classes such as 'the 300 workout' that residents attend for free. :) it definitely made my day

Trevor

It is awesome to see the complex you are going to move into offers them features for your fitness goals. You will be ripped in no time :D

yes the weight and cardio room are 24 hours! You get an ID card to get in past office hours! I cant wait...

Today has been a horrible day, i went to NTB to get my car checked out...and dropped 650 dollars getting brand new tires and alignment. They said i had no tread left on any of the tires and that the belts on the front two were so gone that if i would of run over a sharp rock, i would have two flats immediately. Needless to say today has sucked...but life throws obstacles like that sometimes and the only way to get over them is to just keep going. I'm doing alright on calories today and im about to enjoy a sandwich...that will put me at around 1200 calories for the day

Wow! I can't believe your tires cost that much! That seems high to me. Is this why you're having a bad day? My poor sweetie. :hug2:

I checked out that apt complex--it looks so cool! Way better than the apts I lived in during college..lol. I shared a 1BR/1BA with a friend. She had the bottom bunk, and I got the top..lmao. You'll have your own room and bathroom! I'm so jealous. :D And the fitness center/walking trails, etc is fabulous. :hurray: No wonder you can't wait for August. :)

ya, that 600 i just spent was for spring break...no florida for me, but at least no school, plus austin isnt boring, so im sure i can find something else to do thats way cheaper!

I just added another 15 minutes of cardio toward my goal...i wasn't really feeling it while i did the first 15, but at least i got something in.

That puts me at 35 minutes of HIIT for the week...i have to at least get 25 more to hit my goal which is really do able. The scale told me 153 this morning...which means i have put some weight on...plus some lifts did go up this week.. I guess i will just have to wait until i take pictures to see my progress..

I hope to stay around this weight for another two weeks...but if i see an increase next week, im going to cut back a little as fat gain is a whole lot easier than muscle gain.
