Yesterday at the gym I did my fitness measurements. It was really pretty interesting. It seems to be a good way to keep track of my progress. I actually learned a lot about myself and my workouts. For example it was clear after the test that my legs are much much stronger in relation to my upper body. And by much stronger I mean not even close I mean its so drastic the trainer was even surprised. Well at least it gives me a starter point ya know, at least I know I have a lot of work to do in that area. Also my balance and coordination needs work but taht will come with repetition and muscle growth of my weaker areas.
I also found out something interesting, now this is just one trainers opinion but I told him on Sunday I did 70 mins, about 70, of cardio and burned 650 calories on that workout. He said I really should be shooting for like 700 cals in something like 50 mins. That would be really intense. I tried after the workout last night to see how hard I could push myself. I did 30 mins and burned 350 cals. So im behind the pace but I think that at least was better than Sunday's effort.
Amway enough work out stuff. Food has been good, I am trying to eat less more often. Like when I head out for my meetings here in a few mins I am going to swing but the smoothie place and grab one and then hit the store so that I have some fruit for after lunch this afternoon. Water has been good I am getting 4 liters or more down at work and then another 2 at home in the evening.
Anyway I plan on doing legs today and then if they don't turn to jello doing some cardio and heading home. Should be fun!! Hope all is well thanks for stopping by.
