Tons of extra skin.. not me

God love him!

That's terrifying to me. I already feel trapped by my body ... it's like being trapped and smothered at the same time!

I cannot even imagine what that would be like. You would have lost all that weight but still have to wear huge t shirts just to cover up all the skin. Surgery would be the only option for me if I was in that situation.

I've heard of extra skin before but man, wow. :S I wonder how long it took for him to go down to that? Man. I wonder if he's ever been on Oprah. Good on him though.

One word - WOW

That is an amazing transformation. A friend of my inlaws just finished up with her skin reduction surgery. She was almost 300 pounds a 2 years ago and lost half of that after joining OA and getting gastric bypass surgery. Anyway, I know she went through a lot of pain and healing issues with her surgery, but like this guy she's literally half the person she was before. Truly amazing.

Ok, I know someone's going to find this tasteless, so I apologize ahead of time, but I wonder if he got to keep the excess skin. I'd preserve and frame that baby and keep it on my wall as a constant reminder to NEVER go down that road again.

hes sexy lol

i feel bad for him though all the scarring he will have afterwards.. but i guess it would be worth it..
Which would you rather have ... people staring at scars that you can cover up ... or people staring because you are 400lb ?
I know for sure id have the scars thanks! they dont stop you getting into cars, planes, clothes, public loos, etc
They dont stop you from having fun, having a great social life etc

Hehehe ewww, reminds me of a Dr Who episode where this one character (cassandra) was just a piece of stretched skin after all her surgerys and had people on call to moisterize what was left every few minutes otherwise she dried out and died.

Im curious if he got a bypass surgery or just lost it all through exercise. Loose skin is always an isssue but your skin tightens up over time with slow/steady weightloss. Obviously there will be some left over but it looks like he either got bypass or starved himself to lose it all fast.

I am also curious about the authenticity of this work, and if it is true, how did he lose the weight.

I didn't even know how to attempt to research this, so I submitted it to snopes.com :rotflmao:

If its real though, damn, its one damn transformation. Check out those guns...I don't think "starving yourself" can produce those kind of biceps.

This kind of stuff is true. who was on Oprah. And I remember seeing a documentary on the Discovery channel about a lady who looked a lot like the guy in the pictures posted here but I couldn't find a link for it. And describing the procedure.

Pretty darn amazing. Gives me impetus to lose what weight I have while my flesh is still young and elastic. :p

oh my gooood :eek2: im so scared, i'm 16, 309 pounds, I really don't want to have so much skin sagging >.< damnnnnnn

regardless, good job to that guy.

that post weight loss excess skin is pretty horrific (makes my own saggy bits seem insignificant somehow). but what a transformation post op. he is really fit.i also would rather have the scars than be that big ... changing the subject slightly i got the bus up to my holiday. it was full and me and the kids had to sit seperately. i sat next to a pretty large person who spilled over onto my seat. sounds horrible, but i kept thinking, if i hadnt of lost weight i wouldnt have been able to fit on.slim
