Haha, still, it would be kind of neat to know the difference because the slow loss means you get used to it as it happens. I guess I could load up a backpack with the weight I've lost and go for a walk!

Wow another scortcher eh? I am so jealous cuz
this coldness is pissing me off and it hasn't even begun lol! I used
to walk alot sometimes twice a day when it was 90's ,I would
rather have heat then cold!
You can melt away the weight I dunno if you can chizzle off the
weight.Well congrats on another good day.Keep up that hard work
it sure does pay off,Tammy:)

I will absolutely be wearing a hat! I don't even care if it looks funny, I'll just be happy not to get the top of my head sunburned again. I think maybe I should get an enormous novelty sombrero, and give my dog some shade too!

Well, I do enjoy the cold, but it doesn't get cold like you have it. Back in '99 i went to Toronto and it got down to well below freezing. I wasn't dressed warmly enough and the feeling of not being able to generate enough heat to keep myself warm no matter how fast I walked was pretty scary! I ducked into a store and bought some extra warm stuff, after which I was okay.

Mind you, in the cold you burn more calories just generating body heat. I'll parcel up some heat and post it across to you. Or maybe set up a webcam pointed outside, and you can bask in the glow of your monitor :)
 
I'd rather be cold than hot, I can put on more clothes if need be but if your hot, you can only strip to a certain point before people look at you funny..lol. ;)

That, or you get arrested. Also, certain parts of me would NOT be happy if sunburned. Yowza. I like cold weather for the same reason, easy to pile on more clothing!

Thank you! You can send some storms and rain this way, we need it! No rain in sight, bushfires burning and the drought goes on.

Thanks for the support, I'm pretty confident about those scales tomorrow! Fingers crossed!
 
Doin' the happy dance!

Woke up this morning, feeling tired - went to bed way too late and got about 5 hours sleep. Stupid, I know. Anyway, it was drizzling outside so I decided to drive in, rather than walk. I need my car to run errands today anyway.

But the good news - I stepped on the scale and WOW - 104kg! (229lb). That puts me at 48% of my way to finishing. It seems simultaneously close and terribly far away.
