G'day, Pequin!

Friday is still churning along here. I'll be heading off from work pretty soon though! I imagine that I do have an Aussie accent, what with being born here and all :) Ha ha!

Oh boy. I should not have tried to skip ahead to the next week of couch to 5K. :p

I just walked / jogged 6.5k (about 4 miles), but stopped with the jogging after about half way through that course. It's probably a case of it being too soon after last night's jog. Mind you, my dog loved it!

Ha, thanks! :) I'm going to do the last session of week 2 on Monday, and see how I go. My legs were a bit sore today!
 
Ooo, I ate so much this weekend! Ah well, I was ahead of my weight loss goals anyway, and back to the regular plan of careful eating this week!
 
Woohoo! (I'm doing a happy dance)

Today was the first time someone said `Hey, have you lost weight?'

I told them I had lost 13kg, and planned to go another 20 or so, and they said they didn't think I had that much weight to lose. We'll see!

Walked home from work last night with my dog. Took an hour and 15 minutes, and it was VERY warm. 37 degrees C, which is just under 100F. If it hadn't been cloudy I would have driven home because I don't mind heat, but I HATE being out in the sun. It's cooler today, so I might walk home again tonight, which will force me to walk to work in the morning!

My weight has been stable but I'm hoping to see 108.0 kg tomorrow! Fingers crossed!

Thank you, though you may be interested to know that we don't have Thanksgiving in Australia! You did remind me to wish my Aunt (visiting from the U.S.) a happy Thanksgiving! She will be surprised!

Walked home from work again - it takes 1 hour and 15 minutes total. Feeling confident that I'll be happy with the scales tomorrow morning! I had scrambled eggs with mushrooms and capsicum and asparagus all mixed in for dinner - yum.

Found more shirts that fit me today, hooray! I have a couple that I bought (supposedly XXL) that are still tight. I think they are a very small XXL, because I have some XL clothes that are kind of big now. Even the sleeves are short, so I think they may never fit me properly.

I'm currently taking sewing lessons once a week, and I've got four more weeks to go. On the first lesson, we took measurements, so I think that by the end I will be considerably smaller. I'm looking forward to making myself some shirts and other clothes, and some nice summer dresses for my partner. I think the pyjama shorts that I'm making for the first project will be oversized by the time they are finished!

Oh, YES!

Woohoo! I stepped on the scales this morning, and I am 108 kg (237.6lb). This means I've lost 13.5kg (30lb) and I'm 37% of the way to my goal. Now only 23kg (50lb) to go! Time to go update my signature :) :) :)

I feel so motivated to keep going, if someone offered me a buffet lunch with all my favourite foods, I would just take a small serve of something and skip dessert.
 
Really doing the happy dance now - I weighed 107.5kg (236lb) this morning! At this rate I will be back to my lowest weight in years by the end of this year!

Tonight is junk food night, and I will definitely enjoy it. I've started buying less food on junk food nights too, so it's less damaging to my weight loss!

Walked to and from work yesterday, totalling 2.5 hours. It's about 13k (8.5mi) there and back. Walked to work this morning, and since I needed to get in reaaaallly early, I got up at 5. The sun was just dawning as I got to work, it was beautiful.

Is there any chance of it raining down there for the next two months or so? ;)

Seriously though, keep up the good work & I'm hoping you're not the only Aussie loser this tour :cool: :D

Hey, it's just as hard to lose weight here! Maybe the sun will melt it away :)

Not bloody likely. I've just installed two seriously large watertanks at my house (totalling 9,000 litres), and the week before they arrived we had probably enough rain to fill them. Now I've got them, it will never rain again. Ever.
