ep,
Hey man, good to see you on the forums again! I have lost 24.4 lb since the 28th of May, which is just crazy. I haven't been starving myself (though I have felt a lot more hunger than I was allowing). Part of it is the crazy amount of walking I have been enjoying, and the fact that my job is pretty physical, so I'm on my feet most of the day, moving around, lifting things and so on.

The trick is going to be getting to my goal weight and then staying there. I like to think that I have learned a lot from last year's failure, and the fact that I was so confident last year but then put the weight back on scares me somewhat, because I feel just as confident now.

Holy Carp! (Imagine a fish with a halo)

107.4 kg (236 lb) this morning! I don't know how I managed that, mind you I was frantically busy yesterday and didn't stop moving all day.

I am less than 5 kg from my previous low, back in December!!!

Also, my stomach seems to have settled down. I am pretty sure that I was having problems with high fat levels because when I went back to eating regular food I was okay, but when I had some fatty foods it just seemed to punish me. This is not a problem!

Hey man... congrats on the loss! You are motoring through it hardcore... I haven't really had anything really fatty in a long while..and from what you've told me/experienced... I don't know if I WANT to! LOL... good on ya mate!

Woohoo! 106 kg (233lb) this morning! Also a drop in my waist and chest measurements, which is pleasing! I have been doing a LOT of walking, it's been great! Started doing some more bushwalking and now it's starting to warm up a bit I am looking at doing some good bushwalks.

Thanks, Tammy! I can't believe the difference it has made to me, and I don't want to ever see those heavy weights again!

Thanks! I am just churning through the calories at the moment, burning as much as I can... and it's working, yayyyy! Yeah, keep away from the grease!

Mornin/Evening mate!

that's so freakin awesome man! You're burning through the weight man... absofricken fantastic!

Okay, 105.5 this morning! My slowest weekly weight loss so far, .5 kg or about 1 lb. I'm not complaining, that's good going! Even no change would still be okay, because it's not gaining!

I am on the very cusp of using the last hole in my belt. With my shirt untucked I need it, but since I am tucking my shirt in these days, I don't quite need it yet.

3 more kg to go and then I am at a weight I haven't seen in years. Woo!

Went for a walk late last night, as I do most nights. I have found a good walk, it's just along regular streets but I quite like it, it encompasses major roads and I can adjust which roads I travel on to adjust the length. The route I like is just under 2 hours, and according to my GPS I burn 1000 calories almost exactly.

I feel lighter on my feet, and 2 hour walks feel like nothing at all now, no sore legs, no aching feet. Keeps my dog happy too, she loves to walk and walk!

:jump: :jump: :jump: WOOHOO! :jump: :jump: :jump:

I slipped over the half way mark today!
I have lost 15kg (33lb), and I'm still going strong! Feeling good, too - kind of light on my feet. I was lying on the floor reading a book the other day, and getting up felt like no effort at all.

Awww yeah! The scales have been good this week! I was 103.7kg (228lb) this morning! It's funny how as my weight decreases I see it as a series of ups and downs on the chart I keep, no change or a gain for a few days then all of a sudden, whoosh!

I guess this illustrates the point that you can't be discouraged by a few days in a row with no change or even an increase, your weight is always going to go up and down, but with the chart I can see that it is averaging a consistent downwards trend.

According to my spreadsheet, I will hit my goal of 90kg in 58 days! Woohoo!

1.2kg to go until I hit the low weight I reached last year. Funny, I feel fatter now than I did back then at this weight, but I think that is because when I did it last year I had been at a high weight for a long, long time, and now I remember how I felt in December.

Oh yeah, I climbed on my roof last night to check out something that was making a noise when it was windy, and I felt quite nimble!

Weird but good...very good! I weighed in at 103.1 kg this morning!?!?! I haven't been starving myself, but I think the after dinner walks must be doing me a lot of good!

I've taken to running for as long as I can when I get to an uphill slope, it's more intensive but it vastly reduces the impact strain of running on flat or downhill surfaces, and is kinder on my knees.

Once again that 100kg mark looms... last time I started getting funny about it, like it was some physical barrier, and slowed down before getting back into bad habits. Now I just want to SMASH through it and get into the 90kg range... Then I am working on the 80 kilo range. My goal is 90kg but if I can hit high 80's, that will be awesome!

Sounds like you're making really terrific progress, Tom. Yes, once you start shedding those pounds, a lot of things in life that were an effort before (getting off the floor, tying your shoes, etc) seem absurdly easy.

Thanks! I keep feeling like I am more flexible, I think it's because I don't have a big fat gut in the way of things when I bend forwards. I used to find it a bit hard to breath if I tied my shoes while sitting in a chair, now it all seems easy!

WOOHOO!!! This morning I weighed in at 102.2 kg! Last year, when I lost weight (and before I put it back on) I weighed 102.5 at my lowest, and that was only briefly.

Now I'm below that weight! 100kg, here I come! I haven't been this light in a few years, at least!

Howdy Mate,
Looks like your still on track and kicking butt altho I have a lil trouble with the kg anyway looks good! Have a nice day Tammy
