Tomble Rides Again!

WHOA! 110.4 kg!!!! 242 lb!!! That was quick! I feel so damned good about all this right now! I am more than just on track, I am ahead of my scheduled goal! WOOOOOOO!

Plus I am going to spend the entire weekend moving heavy things, so that will burn lots of calories too! *doing the happy dance*

30% of my way to the goal, yay!

Hey, congrats to you Tom!

I remember the last (and 7th) time I had to move my daughter. I think I burned about 8,000 calories that day!

Haha, I wonder how hard it would be to convince people that moving house was a simulated exercise designed to burn calories and increase core strength? Then they could pay to participate!

I'm actually moving a factory full of stuff, my business has outgrown the current place, so it will be a day of loading pallets and driving forklifts. All the fun of the fair! What a great way to spend the weekend :)

Well it's a bit late now, but perhaps if you had enough time to advertise...or maybe you could run a competition with a few hours participation as prizes! :D

That's a nice mindset to have!

Congrats on the new lower weight Tom. I hope you are reaping some benefits from your efforts right now - not just exhausted. :) Big job!!!

Ooo, you got a holiday? What holiday is it? Have a great break. Oh, your icon is not too bad either ;)

Well, we're still moving! What I thought would take most of one day then a bit of the other is about to move onto it's fifth day. ARGH. Oh well, in a month it will be well and truly behind me and I will be rockin' along in my new premises!

Thanks for the congrats, I'm happy to be back here at this weight again and going down, down, down. I just looked at some pics from 6 weeks ago and there is a marked difference. In fact my partner looked at me last night and said `you ARE getting thinner!'. Yay!

Oh, and I also regained another belt loop today! WOOHOO!

Another belt loop - very nice indeed! :)

Thank you! It's one of those amazing markers of progress. Now I long for the day I start making new holes in it.

I still have my original belt, with all the darker spots where the buckle used to hit. That's a great feeling for sure!

Five days of moving?? Ouch!!

Yeah, the moving is not fun. I am trying to view it as physical exercise, but it's about to hit day 6 and we're only just finished.

Ooo, this morning I was 110.1 kg!!! So CLOSE to the 110 kg mark. Then, to face my next foe : 100kg. That's formed a psychological barrier with me before, so if I can just smash through it and make it to double digits I will be a happy guy.

YAY! I cracked 110kg yesterday! Now, onto 100 kg!

I had my special once a week meal last night, chicken and chips, some beer, some macadamia nuts (no sugar! Didn't want it!). Then about 5 am this morning I awoke to my belly rumbling. Hmm, well, that oily food was delicious but it didn't want to hang around too long. I am becoming unused to oil in food, which is a definite bonus.

It is great to have little desire for sugary foods and I agree it's a bonus to become unused to oily foods too. I like noticing the taste in my mouth and wanting to get rid of it!!

Yay for the 110 kgs!!! :D

Tom, I know what you mean about greasy foods. Just a little bit of it now will throw my stomach into a turmoil.

Thanks felici! I was doing the happy dance when I got off the scales!

I had some chocolate today - a very fine chocolate shop opened up down the street, and I am allowing myself $5.00 a week chocolate money. So, I bought a small selection of wonderful chocolates and took the time to experience them. Smelled them, let them melt in my mouth, let the fragrance roll up into my nose again. Oh, it was GOOD. This is how chocolate should be experienced, not crammed down while watching TV.

I really notice oil now, I can feel it on my teeth when I eat something greasy. Yuck!

Yeah, it's quite amazing to think how much grease you can get used to. I am wondering if it's something else though because I had a nice salad for dinner and my stomach is still not right!

"""Hey hey goodlooking"" I used to get sick from eating healthy then trying to eat pizza or something greasy it coats your mouth and does a number on your tummy then after eating that crap for a while you get used to it and then you get fatter blah....
I really like the $5 a week for chochlate I would have to blow mine on a grater's chochlate malt for $4.59 they are so yummy and probally a zillion calories that is how everything is that I like hahaha.Keep up the great work and I am glad the scale is treating you well maybe it will be my turn soon,Have a nice day Tammy

Woo! A great day on the scales. I weighed in at 108.4kg (238lb) this morning! I have solidly cracked the 110 kg mark! Yayyy!

Very tired tonight - I spent the whole day on my feet after walking to work, then I walked home the very very long way, over 16k (10miles) today.

Since the 27th of May I have walked over 270km (168 miles). According to my software, that's over 21,000 calories worth of walking! Woohoo!

So, since I was 119.5 kg when I started, (the 117.7 in my sig refers to the weight I started at when I got back here) I have now lost 11kg (24lb) and am just nearing 38% done! Yay!

Heya Tammy! I think there is no harm in limiting yourself to a chocolate treat once a week. Actually I had some dark chocolate tonight when I got home. I am rarely touching sugar so when I have something sweet it's a real experience, which is what it should be rather than part of the daily diet.

You'll do okay, look how far you've come!
