OK too many sites have too many ads on them, so if you google "foam roller IT band" you should get some good instruction on how to do this... I will warn you though... it's painful!
 
Sorry to hear about your power problems. We has a good storm roll through here for a couple of days but I still managed to get my walks. Well I don't know if you'll be getting the storm that passed through here where you're at. It was cold and very windy.
 
Power outages suck! We were without power for a little over a week at the end of last January, than again the beginning of April for 3 MORE WEEKS!!! It made me really appreciate having a shower, flushing toilets, etc. when it finally came back on and made me SO THANKFULL that I don't live in pioneer times!

I do like my creature comforts...

Thanks all, I didn't really get any walking or running in over the weekend. and my eating has been Bad not not excessive. right now we have about two inches of snow on the ground so no walk today. I am off today anyhow with my wife. ( holiday ). I am hoping later to get some lifting in.
Also I needed some rest BUT I didn't need to eat like crap :(.
I couldn't help my self. haha.
Well back to it.

Today i had 6 piece of bacon i cooked in the microwave and a egg white and spinach and feta omelet.

no lunch yet, its only 10 am.

We all need rest! And I think you're doing great!
And you know what- you're human, we all are! We're all going to have times where we fall off, and don't exercise, eat too much and/or eat unhealthy! But you're doing great! Most people would quit if they did that, they would give up because they thought they failed- but it's not failing! It's life, and it's bound to happen! What sets you apart from them is that you did it (which we all have, um, look at my week of pure indulgence!!!), and came back here to get back on!! That's fabulous! it just shows that you're motivated and strong!

So keep it up! You can do it! And if you can't walk today, maybe do some pushups, sit ups, and lunges throughout the day! I know sometimes I'll just drop down and do 10 push ups! Takes me less than a minute and it totally energizes me!! :)

You're doing awesome tob! And glad to see you're having a day off- it's much deserved :)
 
i cheat most weekends i wish i didnt but i do so dont worry about it. just think of it as how you`ll eat when you come off your diet.

Yeah we had Crazy winds and now we are getting snow and ice :( not much but enough to make everything crappy.

Yes they do, I dunno i do camp a lot no power is always fun for me, we always break out the bored games and cards and what not.

cheat days are okay once in a while :) hope your leg is feeling better.

Yeah, I am not to upset really, i do really feel bloated. to much salt intake and my wife wanted sausage and spaghetti so we had that... twice.

thanks for the support! I probably gained a lb back over the last week.
It sucks right now because my wife is just like Bleh im eating and im like ohhh that smells/looks sooo good then i end up eating more :( this sucks. im losing control I keep saying tomorrow but it never comes.

weather is kinda better it snowed this morning and is clear today but i just got home with about 20 minuets of light left. I have been busy since 5:30 am this morning.

I feel for ya trying to stay on track with the eating when your wife is pregnant. When I was pregnant my hubby lost lots of weight, but that's because at every meal I had a bucket setting beside my plate because I'd get about half way thru the meal, barf, then have to start all over again. It was just too much work to get up and run to the bathroom to throw up because I was puking ALL day, EVERY day. Yes I know it was HORRIBLE table manners, but I just didn't care any more. I'd just hurl right there at the dinner table, then continue on eating. :puke:

Poor hubby would lose his appetite and not be able to finish eating.

But he at least had a stronger stomach than my best friend's husband did. I went on a long roadtrip with them once several months after my first baby was born and she asked me how I could travel anywhere when I was pregnant if I was so sick all the time, especially on my long 140+ mile a day commute that I drove by myself. So I told her it was easy - I just kept a box of gallon sized zip lock baggies on the seat next to me. I would steer with my knee, open a bag, barf, and zip it closed. No mess no smell! Then every night when I got home I'd drive past the trash pile at home (we burned our garbage because we lived on a farm) and would throw the bags out my window. One day when I went past the trash pile I noticed that some rodent or animal had been chewing open the bags and had cleaned them all out.

Well, by friend's poor husband couldn't take it any more. He had to pull over and throw up on the side of the road! LOL

Oh, um, gee... You don't have a weak stomach do you???

weight this morning 196 lbs

Breakfast: Coffee with almond milk and a banana
Snack: special K bar
Lunch two side salads from McDonalds one packet of FF vinaigrette.
Snack: tomato sandwich with two teaspoons mayo, some cheese its and gold fish ( could not help it ) MY LOVELY WIFE WHO IS PREGNANT KEEPS BUYING JUNK FOOD AND IT SITS AROUND THE HOUSE TEMPTING ME AND IM TRYING NOT TO GET MAD AND THROW IT OUT THE ****ING DOOR!

Dinner: 1 Piece of grilled ham and brussel sprouts, 5 thin mint girl scout cookies.

Ran 1 mile then walked 1.1 miles.

total run/walk 2.1 miles.

Sorry to hear about the junk! It's sooo tempting! I find it hard to resist sometimes when it's in the house! Or laying beside me for other people to eat!

Thanks, me leg still is bothering me though. thanks for the happy dance haha.
I am thinking about changing my work out schedule to two on two off.
 
That's a smart schedule! You want to take the rest that your body needs! You also don't want to over do it and get burnt out :D

Sorry to hear your leg isn't feeling too good :( Are the stretches working?! :)
