Yeah, i just got back from a Walk. short one though. it snowed yesterday all day so i walked on wet/slushy roads. only 1.3 miles though. my feet got soaked haha.

yuck! soggy feet- not one of my fav things!!!

Sunday:
Breakfast: 2 special K bars
Snack: string cheese
Lunch: NE Clam Chowder, Small piece of smoked sausage.
snack: fruit salad ( home made)
Dinner: WW baked Ziti ( home made not store bought )

Walked 1.3 miles

weight in this morning: 198

It sucked do bad.... see this depresses me.. I LOVE to cook. I cook really well with passion BUT i cant really do that now im on a diet because i am limited to keeping my dishes waist friendly... haha

Thanks, Yeah i am nervous about February... i will be in last place in my walking club haha.

What kind of ingredients are you missing now that you're on a diet?!

I'm use to not cooking with things like butter, cream, and a lot of cheeses! It was a hard adjustment when I couldn't cook with them!

Well, Its just now i must cook all lean things and watch what i am putting in. Like you said butter etc. I cook fro flavor not health haha. now im adjusting. SLOWLY. I can't just make stuff anymore really. I Love Potatoes! and im avoiding them.
 
Guys I worked my "bud" off this week, but haven't lost any weight!

My weight has been going up and down, but what's worse I was setting here reading Top's post and realized that I drunk about a 1/4 can of pop that my husband set down for me. Woe-is-me....I failed the quest!!!!! I didn't realized I was doing so. Poo Poo Poo Poo!!!! I worked s........o hard this week!!! I only lack doing the exercise part one more day. I had planned getting up in the morning and doing them before I post that I had finished the quest:(:eek:

I do need a big :hug2: right now.....my DH and DS laughed at me.

Potatoes are good for you.....just use portion control. I never cut food out, except for fried foods. Which I love!

So you worked your butt off and didn't see results? I must ask are you walking or doing something active? If no i would say start walking. It will help you lose some weight. But hey if you worked hard just keep at it hard work is what you need.

Don't be discourage! You're doing great- even if you're not losing weight, you should be proud that you're eating healthy and exercising (and I looked at a can of pop the other day, it was only 250 calories! That's not THAT bad ...at least you only had a 1/4 of a can! I HAD THE ENTIRE THING!! That is my WEAKNESS! I LOVE the fizzy goodness of cola...mmmmm...) but hey! We all deserve treats! So don't feel bad about that!

And maybe your weight is going up and down because you're putting on muscle! And that's a GREAT thing to do!

Have you taken your measurements? I have found more changes in the inches than in the pounds!! If you haven't, you should, and then in a week, go back and check! I think you'll be surprised!

In the end Anna, hun, cutie, awesometastic gal, you're doing great! Don't give up! You're taking all the steps to lose that weight!! And it'll come! The road to weight loss can be hard, long, and bumpy sometimes! But we're here for you! And we're here to tell you that you're awesome!!

You should go to the mirror, smile, wink, and tell yourself you're doing great! And then give yourself a little twirl :) :hurray:

mmmm...*drooling*..I miss the can of beer I put in my chili....I miss beer all together!! hehe

I do agree that there's some major adjustments...perhaps I can share some recipes with you, and you that same way (and ANNA!)...I know some great meals that taste good and are yummy! I have found that a lot of times, it's cooking with ingredients I would never use! Like fresh herbs- never in my life did I use them until I started watching what I eat :)

and I agree with potatoes- they're yum! but like anna said- in moderation they're good! I think a lot of times with potatoes, it's the extra things that go in/on them, or how they're cooked! I'm a sucker for a raw potato...i know...it's odd!!

Well I put "bud" because I didn't want to say butt, lol.. But since you said it for me....."YES" I did and now I am not sure if I can count any of the quest! I have walked 4 miles everyday since Wednesday, and stayed within my WW's points. Even quit drinking coffee until today. I will stick with it! But what's so bad I hardly like Pepsi, lol. Just a random think, don't know why I drunk the pop, just did.

Well i always used Fresh raw stuff like herbs and veggies but some things like when i make champ ( potatoes,sourcreme and leeks) thats not really good for you. I can wait for spring so i can grill again. Also I used to Make LOTS of chili and it had to be High in calories. This summer im ganna grill almost all my meals for dinner. Lean meats and fresh veggies. I used to use lots of Oliveoil but i cut that way back...

P.S. im watching Ancient Aliens haha
