To much time at the gym?

Me and my friend workout daily about 5-6 times a week. Our routine is Chest, Sholders, Tricepts and the next day it's Back, and bicepts. We do Abs when we have time. Now it ussually takes about 1 hour- 1 hour 30 mins to do the routine(when we do abs it's ussually an added 20 mins). When one person finishes a set the other does his set on the machine. Are we spending too much time at the gym?

im not compleatly certain but from the sounds of it no your not
depending really on how intense your working out , but listen to your own body and if you feel over done just cut down a bit

45 to 6min should be your weight training session. How long do you rest between sets? You also need to put in some leg excercises dude.
 
I ussually rest about 40 seconds after a set. I ussually never do leg excercises except when I run or do some cardio. Why is leg excercises important?
 
Your legs have some of the biggest muscles in your body, and if you work these aswel as your upperbody, it will keep your metabolism rocketing along so you can burn fat easier.

I tend not to spend a whole day on my legs, but after I do cardio I do one excersize for 3 x 8 reps, a different excersize each time.
