I have stepped on the scale today , ? th?nk ? have already lost 1 kgs :))))))) I cant belive it. ? was supposed to check my weight at weekend but ? have noticed some changes at the mirrow. my tummy look a little bit flatter. so took the risk and stepped on scale , ?t ?s so cheering result to see :).I th?nk that will keep me stronger on the diet .Good new for me really.

yesterday night ? ate counting calorie .I am not sure this attack diet tunded into. ? am not proud of myself because ? coudnt do it right as it says only PROTEINs . but ? am really eating less only vegetable meals. ? dont know what will be the result. ? am little bit confused with my diet. but still doing fine. ? still dont feel hungry to eat.why is that ? dont know but feels good.

hi all,

today I feel better about my diet, but ? think my diet is switched to calorie counting diet .I decided not to bother myself about kind of diet it is but to control what ? eat choose what ? eat.

eating less mostly vegetables, low carbs, being more active, drinking water much more ,will help losing weight.

All we need is time. every meal with our choices we are getting there day by day, kg by kg ,untill they go away.

hang in there Celine...trust me...it takes time! I didn't count calories for months and followed some basic rules:

1) exercise every day, work my way up to 60 minutes/day, the occasional rest day is OK, but don't make it a habit!

2) no soda, not even diet soda

3) Low carbs are OK, but nothing high carb

4) no sweets or processed sugars..the occasional fruit is ok

5) no eating after 6:00pm, and yes, sometimes that means I didn't get a "proper" dinner..late afternoon snacks and hot green tea seems to ease hunger pains.


Take what you like and leave the rest...you will eventually have to make your own set of standards...what works for you!

It has been my self-imposed rule for the last 10 months...I didn't start calorie counting until about 2 weeks ago, mainly just to know how much I eat and trying to learn about the BMI, BMR, and lots of other 3 letter abbreviations! Not sure it's teaching me anything to be honest, but it has been interesting.


Steady, persistent and 1 day at a time, sometimes 1 moment at a time is the key.


The most important thing is Don't you Quit, Don't you Quit, Don't you Quit!!

weekend was awfull,? ate a lot, as my motivat?on went down about my prote?n d?et. ? felt down and ate a lot, not as much as ? used to eat before d?et but ate much compar?ng to d?et days.so ? feel really bad. l?ke ? lost my aim. ? th?nk ? will start with a new begining with a calorie counting healthy d?et. with exercises, drinking plent of water, eating vegetables ..

AI have lost 90 lbs and had diet soda everyday...so, that's kind of silly.
Not eating after 6pm? Well, I'm screwed. I work midnights. A good rule of thumb is to not eat 2 hours before bedtime.
I have lost all of my weight counting calories and exercising. It makes it easier to keep track of things and learn how my body reacts with different foods. I use a site and phone application called myfitnesspal.com. It's completely free, and has a ifeng database of food. I have found just about every meal on it, which has made it a breeze to keep track.
Make sure that you are only weighing yourself after you rest for 8+ hours. You retain water throughout the day, not to mention undigested food, so weighing after you wake up(and pee!) will be most accurate.

Most importantly....have patience. It takes time to lose weight properly. If you lose it too fast, you will lose muscle mass and get super saggy skin. Some weeks you might lose 3lbs, some you will gain a pound. It's okay. Really. As long as you are eating healthy and exercising, your body will change!

hi imaninjadangit, you have a very diffucult nick name :) sooo much thanks for stopping by :) congrats on your weight loss! it is great success really ,considering how hard it is for me to lose weight these days. ?t used to be so easy 2 years ago . then ? used to swim, walk and do pilates somet?mes. but now ? dont have many exercises types to do. but ? love to walk, ?t is a good exercise ? th?nk .i have a few pilates videos but doing them alone is so hard , it is fun but after some time it can be boring :( and the swimming pool ?s too expensive now, ? have a pilates ball but only used a few t?mes, yesterday n?ght ? have read some exercises from my d?et book, ? th?nk ? w?ll do them everyday with my d?et. th?s year ? am not an act?ve person much.maybe ?t ?s harder to lose weight because of that.

? should really move my fat body :) and keep focused.

Hi Robyn you drank soda EVERYDAY n lost 90lbs?! Wow! Well I don't drink soda everyday, I do drink a little seltzer water to help with the digestion of my food but I don't know if that is considered diet soda, it has NOTHING in it. No sodium, no sugar no carbs can this be bad for your weight loss? Thanks
 
th?s t?me ?t ?s very hard to lose weight. ? am not strict dieter th?s t?me though . ? only reduce what ? eat and wacth for ?t not to be high carb, and to be vegetables and healthy th?ngs. and dr?nk?ng alot of water almost 2.5-3 liter.and ? try to walk as much as ? can.? am st?ll not eat?ng bread but oat bran wh?ch ? bought earlier for the other d?et. ? really hope to see 90kgs again. also ?n the n?ght ? am doing a little exercise before ? sleep for my belly.

that is all what ? do for two days.


? dont know what to do more but to wait to days pass by to lose weight.

Hi to die for, you sound down. Don't be, you've made a great start you've started reducing what you eat and paying more attention to it and you're also swapping meals for healthier ones. The biggest mistake I recently found out is to think that taking off the weight is going to be easy, it's not I should know I'm going thru it right now. It's ironic that's something like weight is so easy to put on but hard as hell to come off but the route your going is best. When it comes off slowly and once you've reached your weight goal, you'll appreciate the effort and the workthat it took so much more.
 
you are right gettindeere, my mistake is to th?nk ?t ?s easy.because ?t used to be .but ?t ?s really not now. ? should face ?t. weight is big problem. ? am buy?ng books about d?et st?ll. ? am in search for right diet.dukan was a mistake for me ? th?nk. ? started really excited but ? fell down.now ? should realize ?t ?s a b?g deal to lose weight .? never thought ? would be over weighted at my ages of 30. but ? am . now ? see that ?t ?s gett?ng a real problem for me.it is a very true truth about d?et?ng. thank you for writing to me and making me realize it.

today ? fell asleep for a while,normally when ? wake up ? eat e lot. but th?s t?me ?t wasnt much but ? ate cookies :( so ? walked much more after it. .today's act?v?ty is 2 hour walk at total. ? hope my cheat doesnt count because ? d?d extra execise for ?t :( my downfall is that : waking up and eat?ng everyth?ng. ? must do smth but cant help myself . ? shouldnt sleep dur?ng the day. that must be the rule . because very often ?t happens ?f ? fall asleep. :/

@ to die for, do you think that it would be possible for you to upon waking swap those cookies for something more nutritious like....an apple, yougurt or oatmeal?


It would help in your goal to weight loss, all these little changes they add up and will benefit you in the end, give it a try.
 
? try to eat apple but ?f there is cookie ? cant res?st when wake up, ? eat like unconsciously :( . but last night at dinner ? ate consciously what ever there was at the table .? so sorry for myself today. ? couldnt wake up till it is mid day ? felt depressed.? th?nk th?s ?s because ? weighted myself yesterday. whenever ? am a little lost weight when ? see ?t on the scale that day ? eat :(. ? th?nk ? should not weight myself anymore.
